I am a recently retired nurse after 48 years. I began quilting in 2020 during Covid and our very strict lockdowns in Melbourne Australia. I never knew that quilting was such a big thing. Certainly I have seen some beautiful quilts before, but I never knew the time and effort it took, as well as the planning, that goes into a quilt. I decided to hand sew and hand quilt only and make story photo quilts, and my target is a total of 4 quilts. It took 2 years to make my first quilt and 20 months to make the second. Two months ago I started my third. It is thanks to you, Christen, and people like you, who make it possible for people like me. I have never been to a convention before because I am either out of the country or I’ve planned something else. So I really appreciate what you are doing, especially that you have not rushed your recordings and the showing of what is happening. Thank you very much. Yes, and thank you also for responding very quickly to me on earlier videos when I’ve had a question. Regards from Melbourne.
Met you at Houston Quilt show 2022. You sat down at our lunch table and told us about your RUclips videos. So happy to follow you! I enjoy your RUclipss. Thanks for sharing Quilt Market with us!

Thank you for doing such an exciting, beautiful job of bringing the Houston 2024 Quilt Show to us. In the beginning, I felt disappointed to learn that individual quilters could not attend. However, I enjoyed your vlog so much that I did not feel deprived. You gave such a splendid review of the entire show. Thank you for being so organized, excited for the companies participating, and highlighting what we can all look forward to in the 2025 Wonderful World of All Things for Quilters! I 'm looking forward to your next post with happy anticipation!
