DabbingIn MaisonMargiela I know there are some differences in the USDM and JDM Supras but I am not sure about the exhaust. I would send a email to Tanabe and ask them to make sure. Thank you for watching the video.
Tran Vinh I am not sure but I would send an email to Tanabe and ask them. I know that there are some differences but I rather you get a certain answer from the company itself.
Ali, I have a 1994 (OBD 1) Toyota Supra, the O2 sensor and ECM adjust for that change. I did read that OBD 2 Supras can throw a check engine light and have some issues and JDM Supras have to take an extra step because they can overboost and cause issues. So I am all good and the car definitely feel faster and sounds cooler. Thank you for watching the video.
Guus! I hope you are doing well and staying safe from all the virus stuff. The HP gains are around 40-50 HP for the USDM models. The two catalytic converters are quite restrictive.
Shady Shinichi you know... I’ve been question that for awhile now. I thought it was just me. 🤨 I will have to look at it and see if I can adjust it. Thank you for watching the video and for brining that to my attention.
Hey Alex, I purchased mine from circutmotorsports. They are a shop in Florida but they also have an online store. They have taken care of me on multiple occasion. The Tanabe downpipe comes with all the necessary hardware you will need for installation but if you ever go back to the stock downpipe you will need to buy the circular gasket that goes to the turbo side since it will leak if you reuse the original one.
Anytime man! 😀 The Supra is in excellent shape. It is running great and I use her as a daily and go on major roads trips. But listening to a few of my buddies single Supras, the sound is so intoxicating. But I will wait till I have to do a major rebuild hopefully a long time from now or maybe one day pick up another Supra to build.
Lam Videos I just have the full exhaust and there has been many dynos that show a 30-40hp gain with just the downpipe. The only downside is the smell you get from deleting the catyltic converters.
Ahh men, i need thath downpipe!!
You do! It makes a big difference. Thanks for checking out the video. 🤘🏽
Sweet bro 👍

Driver's Therapy ok thanks
Does this fit the jdm mk4s?

gotta love those restrictive pipes XD
They went bye-bye 😎
Worse thing is the smell especially during cold start in garage 😅🤦🏻♂️ i have same setup
So true!!! I always hold my breath or make sure the windows are up and the inside air is pressed on the A/C.
After you change the exhaust does the car needs tuning? Because the backpressure is different🤔

Looking like great work. Iam curious what the performance gain is, subjectivity and in numbers , greetings from here!

Hey Man, where did you get your tanabe downpipe from? Any extra hardware you need that needs to be purchased separately?
