Speaking of taxes, are you going to do a video of taxes? Like what can you deduct in such? Would be super helpful. Like what do you deduct personally?? I know miles is one of them.
Please do not say "yes" because some scammers will record your voice saying "yes" and they use that as their verification that you agreed to something.

They did that to me 77 yr old aunt and got 2,000 that's they are currently trying to get straightened out
The first sign of the scam was the caller ID. You reach out to the business support, they dont reach out to you. 🖤

Same thing happened to me a couple of days ago and I didn’t answer. They left a voicemail saying exactly what you just told us. I ignored that as well. I didn’t know it was a scam until I just watched your video. This is the reason I NEVER answer the phone if I don’t recognize the #. Thanks for the heads up!
You need to report that number to the real doordash support and have them put it on record.
My wife had that happen today while we were sitting in our living room. I told my wife not to answer and that why are they calling us? We aren't even working today.
I hung up on them about 5 minutes into it. The major problem to me is that the scammer seemed to be a rogue employee operating inside the actual customer support office, in India. Guy had an Indian accent. This is a HUGE red flag that the U.S. office needs to recognize and investigate. Happened with Uber for me.

The exact same thing happened with me yesterday needing to verify information so my 1099 would be correct since that’s mandatory this year at that point I started laughing in his face then I started cussing them out and invited them to a TAX party they’d never forget
I've had 3 robo DoorDash tax calls today from California. I didn't say anything. I can't get my 1099 from Stripe because I can't verify it's me. My license has changed, and I can't update it. Uber works, but I never changed my email with Uber. Oddly, Uber didn't send give me a 1099 last year, normally it's in the app, but DD did.

Simple rule. If I don't know who is calling; I do not answer. If they do not leave a message or number, they get blocked! If a message is left ; I call support through the app!
Yes I have been getting calls from Support about taxes.. I just hang up.. My taxes papers are automated.. don't fall for it .. yes it's AI call..
Somebody called my local McDonald's and posed as door dash support. So the manager put up a sign that said all door dash drivers have to call this number to prove their identity before they pick up their order. When I called they wanted my bank info. I let the mgr know and he took the sign down but that was so stupid to not verify with anybody before God knows how many door dash drivers came in and got scammed.
Oh God my husband fell for this yesterday. They sent a link to his phone he didn’t click the link but gave him his information 🤦♀️

It was the same number from California each time it called. It was the man’s automated voice we get when calling support for stuff that redirects you to someone. So idk.

This sound like alot like a scammer I had trouble with back when postmates was separate from uber

What they asked for was to verify email address and mailing address. After seeing your video, I called Support and verified that I can change the email address associated with the account. So I’m going to change my email address associated with the account and get a PO Box so I can change that address as well. Thank you again so so much❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️

They tried to get me a few years back. I just messed with them. Giving them false information until they got aggravated and hung up😂😂😂😂😂😂. I enjoy messing with people to begin with. That was a treat. Haven't had it happen again. 🤷Your music has some bass. Are those 15's.

I don't think Doordash driver support should be calling you unless you can't chat with them... Tax information should not be discussed. They already have that information. 😮
How do they have the information? If it’s your first time filing how would they know everything they need? My home address isn’t anywhere on my profile. My tax ID isn’t anywhere on my profile neither is my SS#. So if I didn’t respond to the calls and emails I would not be getting any tax forms. There’s also people making fake profiles to make the money and then never pay taxes because they don’t even exist. It’s a thing. So we are scared of scammers and DoorDash is also dealing with fraudulent people that “ Poof” never existed come tax time. Just saying. I don’t think all these calls are actually scam calls. Especially for the newbies like myself. I’ve only been dashing for 6 months. The recording is the man in all the dasher support voice recordings when we have to contact support for any reason at all. Or if you get a call back from DD while your dashing it’s the same man voice. They aren’t all scams. Can I upload pictures on here ? I will show what mine says and sounds like if I can post short video on here. I’m not sure if I can tho.

That you have to make an account with them to see if you want them send out or electronically send. Is that true. I have to wait for an email by January 18. But it still hasn't gotten to me.

@@kimberlyevans1274 They are asking if you want them sent to you I think by email, so you get it by Jan 31st or if you want a mailed out copy send to you which arrives Feb 1st but it could take up to 10 days to get to you.
