Hi, new subbie here. I enjoyed this video. I’m really interested to know your thoughts about Uber Eats tiered benefits that’s offered to drivers. (Dental, vision, Costco membership, etc.) 😊
I declined before a no tip order and doordash combine the same no tip order with a good one and when i accept it the no tip order get his food before person who tip so well this not fair
I don’t get Doordash, I ordered from CVS so a shop and pay. The delivery fee is $3.99 but somehow I had a promotion so it was $2.99. And a service fee of $4.99 and tipped $8. I was nervous but asked the dasher how much Doordash paid him and he told me $9 only. It was super insane how much Doordash took I mean I know a $8 tip isn’t a lot. But he just got the top and a dollar from service fee I’m guessing? Like how do dashers deal with that kinda Bs. The total time shopping and delivery was like 22 minutes. 4 items but one item wasn’t found so 3. It was 4-5 miles away. Should we start tipping $10+? I mean I always tip from $6-$13 depending how far it is. But if there only getting paid $6 and a $1-$4 base fare I don’t want to seem like an Asshole 😭 idk mannn Doordash and Uber eats has to do better tbh
I definitely do no tips due to missing items only everything else is a 5 star everything. So it's all based on if I have everything in the bag and that's it otherwise I will give a great tip.
How many orders in they wanna make sure it’s you now. Whenever they want me to do that I think it’s always right when I turn it on. But maybe they’re just like “ this isn’t Sara! She would never usually take these orders!”
That was painful to watch. I mostly do Instacart and I only take no tip orders on rare occasions. If I have a self-imposed daily goal and that last no-tip order delivers towards home and fulfills the goal, I might take it. One time, I took an Aldi order for 4 items, going 12 miles for $10 because it was delivering right by my house. I actually got a $5 tip after drop off!! Did a 1 item, no tip order at the end of the night because Instacart had boosted the pay a few dollars. In the preview, I could see it was a pregnancy test. I just had a feeling I should take the order. It turned out to be a young adult who was scared out of her mind and being a mom of adult kids, I reassured her and she cried on my shoulder. Sometimes it “pays” to take the no tip, but I would not do it on a regular basis.
If the customer changes the address after you accept the order the you can either call Doordash for extra pay or get them to cancel the order because you don't have to deliver to be address.
I would like to give you a thumbs up but I can't. Regardless of if you use a solo app or not, taking those no tip orders. Tanks the market and ruins it for everyone who's delivering.
I get it. I ruined the whole market for all the other drivers because I took 5 no tip orders. Lock me up and throw away the key! My message it to show the struggles that come with these kind of customers! If you want to look deep into it..these app will raise the Base Pay or stack it on another tipped order to get them delivered. So the no tip customers still get the order anyway.
I agree. We're contractors, and the apps are nothing but middlemen. The middleman shouldn't trick, stack or bully us CONTRACTORS to work where no bid has been offered.
I hate how Sonic packages their orders. They don't really secure anything. I had a door dash order from sonic today and the bag wasn't sealed shut. And the customer ordered chili tots and they were in a long wrapper like for a hot dog and the end was completely open, wasn't even sealed!! I just put the whole order into my red bag so it would arrive to the customer safely but if I was the customer I would not have liked that. Sonic also doesn't put any little sticker covers over milkshakes. I've picked those up before and I totally could have put something in there if I wanted because it was just a big open hole on top of the shake top. I even said something about that to the employee at that time (about it being open) and she just stared at me all weird and said they don't have any sticker covers.
Not quite my experience (most days). I see about 85%, then another 5% where the offer is nowhere near what the miles or time is (backwards orders), or where the app stacks the crap, or adds it to a decent tipping order, and always has me delivering the crap order first, making it likely there won't be a tip after delivery from a person who would normally tip then. I don't understand why UE caters to the cheap a**es!
Oh man. I add tip every single time to the card when I pay. I don’t do cash tip. Dang. I’m very good to my pizza delivery drivers. I don’t get any thing else delivered.
I just don't get this no tipping. I never have food delivered and I don't eat at restaurants very much since my rent got so high, but when I do, I tip 100%.
You’re lucky the guy at the car wash told you where he was. A couple days ago, someone typed an elementary school address and said leave at door…. Whole building locked, so I called him. It was a kid at a football game at the high school! Crazy how silly people are
Because the offer is base pay (chump change). Or you're driving miles one way is a lot higher then the offer. Like today I seen one for $10 + a lil change to drive out 25 miles. I think the time was 53 minutes (lol, if all goes well).
@@dmreddragon6 of course that makes sense, I don’t take those either, I call them backwards order, lol, I took a few when I first started, 9 miles south of my zone area, for example, pick up Panera, drop off 9 miles south , then you have to drive all the way back, 18 mile round trip, never again, lol,
If people don't tip then they need to walk down to Family Dollar or Dollar General and buy they cheap butts some noodles. Please tip..I always do..I put it like this they didn't have to come.

Hi, new subbie here. I enjoyed this video. I’m really interested to know your thoughts about Uber Eats tiered benefits that’s offered to drivers. (Dental, vision, Costco membership, etc.) 😊
I'm just starting my dd journey and I was wandering what market you're in? I'm sorry if I missed it in the video.
I thinks she's mentioned Tampa I believe
I declined before a no tip order and doordash combine the same no tip order with a good one and when i accept it the no tip order get his food before person who tip so well this not fair
UGH- UberEats does the same thing. It is b.s. to the good customer. Why should the no tipper get their food fast??
3:23 yeah apartment complex’s always smell like pot
I always tip good. I feel if i was independent contractor i would appreciate good tips but people are cheap. Watching
Drivers definitely appreciate your tips! 💙
On flip side of taking the no tip orders....at least you got your acceptance rate up
Wow I needed to see this video 😮😂😮😂I can’t believe the person working at a hospital didn’t tip 👎
I definitely do no tips due to missing items only everything else is a 5 star everything. So it's all based on if I have everything in the bag and that's it otherwise I will give a great tip.
Well considering most restaurants seal the bags, I don't see how their screw up should cost the driver(s) a tip.
I’m confused on the solo app? Does it just keep up with your miles?
You can toggle it on and off to track all mileage between orders or it will automatically track the mile while your on the orders.
How many orders in they wanna make sure it’s you now. Whenever they want me to do that I think it’s always right when I turn it on. But maybe they’re just like “ this isn’t Sara! She would never usually take these orders!”
Im going to say that from now on. Have a good day, don't die, all that sh*t. Ha ha ha
This was SO painful! ...and im a newbie Dasher! ouch
So the no tip customers still get the order anyway.
my mcdonalds looks the same inside an they ask for us to comfirm it now idk why
It will take you to the poor house
You should have done earn by time. Basically the same thing; taking no tip orders lol. But you might get paid a little more.
a non tipper shouldnt be allowed to complete the order
No tip orders is all there is now
Not quite my experience (most days).
Do they ask you to take a picture of the receipts like they do me?
I has to take a picture of the Pizza Hut recipe, that's it.
@@SaraElizabethYT Every order I get here in Texas.I have to take a picture of the receipt
That was crazy
As a server, this infuriates me that people have the audacity to not tip.
Never mind this app....they also do it in the restaurants and also run from the orders
I wanna be a secret shopper like You! 😃👍
Ohhhhh the pain. I havent even watched it all. I feel ya 😅
I just don't get this no tipping. I never have food delivered and I don't eat at restaurants very much since my rent got so high, but when I do, I tip 100%.
Lowest tippers are always apartments that are on the 3rd floor 😒
Ikr
Crazy!
I live in a small town and I see a no tip order like once a week… sorry girl. How dare they
You’re lucky the guy at the car wash told you where he was. A couple days ago, someone typed an elementary school address and said leave at door…. Whole building locked, so I called him. It was a kid at a football game at the high school! Crazy how silly people are
We have a serious theft problem in Brandon. And the biggest culprit is......
UBER EATS!
Yea earn by time would have went better for them no tippers
Sorry u had to deal with all these no tippers
most non tip customers will rarely show their coward face..
Over 75 percent of my delivery are no tip
What's a normal tip? whats a good tip? & lastly whats a great tip for fast excellent service? Comment below
How do you know if it’s a no tip order??
Because the offer is base pay (chump change). Or you're driving miles one way is a lot higher then the offer. Like today I seen one for $10 + a lil change to drive out 25 miles. I think the time was 53 minutes (lol, if all goes well).
@@dmreddragon6 of course that makes sense, I don’t take those either, I call them backwards order, lol, I took a few when I first started, 9 miles south of my zone area, for example, pick up Panera, drop off 9 miles south , then you have to drive all the way back, 18 mile round trip, never again, lol,
You won't see them today... I did my first crappy no tip orders for a test after three years door dash. Thankfully I only got 1 1
It was a week of hell!!!!!! Used much much gas and dealt with another of shit
I made way less then I cherry pickeked
Watching..... are you lieing????? Your not taking no tip orders. I would never trust your opinion on something.
@@Livingmydreammmsays the guy who can’t spell. Priceless.
How is this possible? Every no-tip customer commenting on RUclips videos say they tip cash at the door. You should have been rolling in the dough!
If people don't tip then they need to walk down to Family Dollar or Dollar General and buy they cheap butts some noodles. Please tip..I always do..I put it like this they didn't have to come.
Girl u r killing me stop...
