    Hey, thanks for sharing! I remember Miami Beach, Downtown Miami and Omni bus terminal. I knows route S very well. It's been over two decades now. Also, I saw cruise ships. They still there at Port of Miami. I know where Port of Miami is.

    Thank you for sharing, how do you know that you have arrived at your station ? Is it said/writed down somewhere inside the Bus ? Thank you

      No problem. Some of the new buses are equipped with a screen that displays upcoming stops. If the bus does have that, then I use Google Maps and plan a trip using the GPS feature.

    I live on the area of where the S and 120 go thru and is a pain to wait for them especially during these times due to social distancing I recommend do a review on the L bus

      Interesting! I'll try to catch the L bus. Thanks for the suggestion.

    I was there during thanksgiving lodging at Collins Avenue. Great times at Miami Beach 🏖. You did not pay the fare at the bus. How could it be possible you are riding for free as tourist? So why did you sit in a block seat 💺? You must find another spot.

      Because MDT suspended fares due to the COVID-19 pandemic, however they are resuming fares on June 1st

    Hey! Thanks for sharing. This was awesome! Would you recommend the buses in Miami is it safe for tourists?

    • @HOUExplorer
      @HOUExplorer  3 года назад +2

      Hello and thank you. Yes, overall, it is safe. In my opinion/observation, I would recommend during the day. Metromover (that free people mover train) that goes around Downtown Miami can be a little sketchy though.

    • @HOUExplorer

      The trolley & Metromover in Downtown Miami are free. But Miami-Dade Transit Metrobus and Metrorail are no longer free. One way full fare is $2.25 / day pass $5.65 . For more information, check there fare page: www.miamidade.gov/global/transportation/transit-pass.page

    This route always gets full. One day i was waiting for almost 90 minutes to catch a bus. 5 buses literally did not stop bc it was full. Thats why i hate this route

    • @HOUExplorer
      @HOUExplorer  4 года назад +3

      I totally agree! I remember last year, 120 Beach MAX is always crowded. Hopefully, the new network will increase frequency...although Miami should build a train (I heard a monorail is proposed between South Beach to Downtown Miami).

      @@HOUExplorer We've been promised a rail connection to Miami Beach (called BayLink) since the 1970's! Every time the idea to fund it comes up the county commissioners say they need another study as to what type of mode should be used. So far they have proposed extending Metrorail or Metromover or a bus rapid system which makes no sense since it's obvious buses can't fulfil the demand. Currently 14,000+ passengers a day use buses to get from Miami Beach to Miami. That is enough passengers to warrant a rail connection.
