Those 2020 CNG Gilligs BRT sound so good
The engine is even more pronounced than the Xcelsiors. You can almost tell without looking which is which.
@HOUExplorer As somebody from the Miami area I want to thank you for always doing such classy videos of the City & Metro area's Mass transit systems! I had voted for our Local Transportation Tax back in 2002 where we promised "BayLink" which would have been a Rail link to Miami Beach but here we are almost 20 years later to no avail. Anyways I do appreciate and watch your Videos and sorry about that crazy Bus passenger but who knows where he was from!
Better than a school bus.
The "trolley" is actually from the same contractor that is also operating the 29 foot Gilligs you saw. Some of the extra section work was given to them and they typically run together with a scheduled full-sized bus. Routes S and 120 are actually separate routes. The S serves all local stops and operates via Alton Road, while the 120 makes limited stops, operates via Washington Avenue, and also has a short turn at the Haulover Marina on the north end (otherwise it also serves Aventura Mall like the S).
Interesting! Thanks for the info.
@@HOUExplorer no problem!
America and Canada bus combined together
Back in Miami
Or this was a old video he wanted to post
Thank you for this very helpful video.
I will be using this bus to get to Washington Ave @ 13th St.
Is there a sign on the bus to say what stop is next?
Also, I didn't see you pay or give a ticket to the driver..how dis you pay ?
No problem. Unfortunately, the bus doesn't have a sign where the next stop is. Sometimes the bus makes announcements on major intersections. The fares were waived at that time. However, fare resumed last June 2021. There are many options to purchase a ticket:
1) you can pay cash (exact change) on the bus (there is a fare box), I believe it is $2.25
2) Or download the Miami-Dade Transit GO App (you can purchase the ticket on the app and show the purchase ticket to the bus operator): www.miamidade.gov/global/service.page?Mduid_service=ser1578323661475590
For more information about their fares, visit Miami Dade Transit webpage: www.miamidade.gov/global/service.page?Mduid_service=ser1617316231654558

Just needs to have that Midnight trip restored to be back to normal.
Hey, You know what it reminds me of? Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia.
If you don't know that place, then... that's ok, But you should tho.
Yes. One day, I would like to visit there! Have you ever been there before? I heard the beaches are nice.
@@HOUExplorer Well... 1st: I don't Travel to State-by-State, In The middle of a Situation.
And 2nd: I still have to avoid, for the time being. That's all you need to know, Man.

On May 8th 2021, Can you do the 54 Scott from Downtown Houston to Hiram Clarke Transit Center and 11 Almeda/Lyons from Hiram Clarke Transit Center to Fannin South
I'm working on it and hopefully I'll have it by May.
Is Route 150 always a commuter bus? Would they open up the lower bay for luggage on this route?
It is a commuter bus since it goes from Miami to Miami Beach (two cities). You could ask the bus operator if they can open the lower bay for larger luggage.
I believe, 150 used to have transit buses before the coaches entered service.
Does this bus go back to MIA? How late does it run?
Yes. The last bus leaves South Beach to MIA around 11pm. You can check-out Route 150 Schedule: www.miamidade.gov/transit/library/routes/150.pdf
@@HOUExplorer thanks so much 👍
Back In Miami already?!
Yes. I was in Miami a few weeks ago...I needed a quick getaway :)
@@HOUExplorer what about the METRORail video
I’m working on it and waiting for Fannin South to open.
Oof 21:00
How will I know where to get off at when I get to Miami Beach I’m taking a trip in oct .. help me out ..but I’m staying in Hollywood FL but will take a ride on the tri rail to Miami . please answer my question ..
Hello. If you want to take Tri-Rail:
1) board at Hollywood Station (southbound platform to Miami Airport station; goo.gl/maps/oHQxvweQYBpp5EuK9)
2) exit at Miami Airport Station (goo.gl/maps/hyGfxiVLZm1wtQ487).
3) At Miami Airport station, go to the bus station (that is next to Tri-Rail platform). 4) At the bus platform, look for route 150.
Route 150 will go directly to Miami Beach (goo.gl/maps/dYJnVCJbYwVALa4fA). Also, not sure if you seen Tri-Rail ride from Ft. Lauderdale (passes through Hollywood Station) to Miami Airport Station video: ruclips.net/video/yPf_u2W2pMY/видео.html (this can give you an idea where to board and exit).
Sup.
Wut up!
LOL! 21:34
LOL! That was crazy. I thought we were going to be stuck there for hours....
