Tahoe Rim Trail (TRT) - Arrival Day in South Lake Tahoe

Pollyanna, Clover, Slider, and I (CQ) are back together for another backpacking trip, this time in the 170 mile Tahoe Rim Trail (TRT). We met up in Reno today and caught a shuttle to South Lake Tahoe where we will be staying for the next few nights to acclimate. We’re hoping to find some short day hikes that will get us up over 8,000’ before we officially hit the trail later this week. We also need to set up for a water cache, some shuttle rides to support a slack pack we are planning between Big Meadow and Echo Summit., and to set up our food.
