That was awesome. The way both of you dealt with the mosquitoes made me lol. Those mosquitoes were no joke. I cruised up to Emigrant Wilderness around August and they were ridiculous. I'd love to try the TRT some day. The long stretches without water worries me a bit though. Thanks for the reminder about hiking being easy. Fantastic video.

awesome!! I did the TRT in late July.... its an awesome trail! I've also done the HST and JMT.... highly recommend both if you are going to do another one in CA.
Nice! I think I saw a couple of your videos leading up to it! I've done the JMT, but I'm looking into the CO trail or possibly something international.

Different animal last year than it was in '22! I bailed on Echo to Kingsbury S last time due to injury and time limit, so I'm thinking about returning this year and going CW for variety... TBD what this winter has in store!

Thanks for watching! I try to always be training, but I was more intentional about 2 months prior. Mostly doing HIIT workouts, but we also did some training hikes.
