Have a look at what Mighty Car Mods did with their 240z. They stuck a turbocharged RB26 in it.

The stock L28E is a nice engine by itself, and its stock compression ratio is pretty good for a turbo conversion. It puts out 170HP NA @ 5600RPM, with a compression ratio of 8.3:1. Small turbo + better injectors and fuel pump + aftermarket ECU, you can probably feed it 6 1/2 pounds and go north of 220HP...

That is one of the cleanest Datsun's I've seen just bought used like that. That guy took really good care of that car from just the look we got. I am very jealous of Drewski.

Also, I have a Mustang as well. 2017 GT Performance Pack. Special ordered a 2013 GT Track Pack back in 2012, sold it in 2015, regretted it, and got my new 2017 GT-PP in July of that year. People underestimate the 5.0 Coyote, but it's a hell of motor. 👍🏻

One of my favorite cars I've ever had was a 1975 Datsun 280z it was cool.
Loved my ‘78 280Z. What a little hot rod. Cried when it was totaled in a hail storm. Can’t wait to see what Drewski does with it.
All my childhood, my dad had a 280 z in the driveway. It was mustard yellow, and he would drool over how clean Drew’s car is! Nice find, have fun in that thing!!

I had the 1979 280z and loved it! It was quick for the time and had a fantastic top end. I remember well how light the backend was in the rain so watch out. I would love to find one again!!
I had a 1980 280ZX and LOVED it. Wish I still had it along with my 1978 Cougar, luck I never got a ticket with either 1. Probably deserved several. Hope your brother enjoys his 280Z.

A few years ago a Buick Club of America National Meet was held in Plano, Texas. About 350 cars showed up. All Buicks.
This is awesome! Me and my buddy are restoring an 82' 280zx right now in Plano that was his father's and it's such a fun car to work on. Drewski needs to be convinced to drop an LS3 in that thing and make it the most fun track car/ daily ever!!!

You will love it. I had that exact car and it was awesome. I lost my license Drag racing it on the streets. I was super fast. I used to bet IROC AND 5.0 mustang's with it all the time.
I'm a member at that climbing gym in Dallas you guys were by, Summit. They have several locations but you would like that one if you were ever in the area with more time. That gym is usually set with a lot of powerful climbs and you're a powerful dude.

Drew you are going to love that car. I've had 3 240z and loved every one of them. Put an oversized cam and a performance header on it and you will have a screaming machine. It will put most v8's to shame.

Those aren't the tow mirrors on his truck. He has the same fixed position mirrors as the 1/2 ton trucks.
I have the tow mirrors on my 3500 and they look goofy flipped up unless your towing something.

Go with T3 for the suspention components. Super solid guys there. I had a bunch of their parts on my AE86, and my buddy has a bunch of their parts on his 510.

@ArmchairWarrior I respect your opinion but I have to disagree; I've had my Murano for basically 2 years, and I've long felt she has a soul...a spirit of reliability and perseverance that still contains a sense of fun and speed. I certainly can't think of any other AWD vehicles that top out at 195kph, at least in the CUV/SUV market ;)
Lower it some , staggered deep dish wheels . Front lip . Tinted windows . A nice cold air intake and a better flowing exhaust (not loud) . And the rear window louvre.

I had a 1972 240Z IN 1973 to 74 and then a 1974 260Z in 1976 to 77 and then went to a 1974 260Z 2+2 from 1978 to 1980.
Miss all of them badly. Drove them on the back highways of Colorado and missed the cops.

They're totally different animals. Are they both trucks? Sure...but the Raptor aint pullin any real loads and the Cummins aint as much of a toy(although it could be both pretty easily...but at the sacrifice of economy and reliability).
