    Thank you so much for all this great info my friend, especially when you show the teaspoon and the amount in it measured. This is EXACTLY what I was needing to know. I came to that conclusion on my own about the weight, but I was not 100% sure my scales were accurate at these small levels, so this is confirmation they are and that I have indeed found the "right" amount in a teaspoon without having to weigh it every time. Awesome !

      @nextlevelwarrior  3 года назад +2

      For SURE! capsules so much more expensive but the convenience of them makes them attractive. Its not effective to have to take out a milligram scale EVERYTIME. So its better to just stick to the same visual dose whether its plus or minimum 50mg shouldn't be an issue.

      I hope youre not taking too much there. The amount I suggest in the video is around 1/3rd of a 1/2 (measuring) tsp. If you take half of 1 tsp that's going to be over 500mg easily.
      It might be worth weighing it out once just to see for sure. Either way it wont be harmful but you'll have a higher tolerance. At lest the powder isn't so expensive

      HTanks for reaching out and for the praise. There shouldnt be any issues in mixing these. When I go on ashwaganha cycles as I am this month I use all 3 of them. Is this present struggle something more recent or its been ongoing for a whi;e?
      to answer your question- they will all help with great sleep, some with lowering stress markers and so on. Theres no need to take them at the same time. The Ashwa has more of a cumulative effect over time as does magnesium, where as the L theanine will have an effect shortly after taking it to help calm the mind

    what do you suggest when it comes to suntheanine? ive read its more potent? i was iffy at first coz im not about the "synthetic" stuff.. but suntheanine has been around for so long and so many studies have been done on it

    • @nextlevelwarrior
      @nextlevelwarrior  2 года назад

      It's true, alot of things have referenced to suntheanine in particular and in part because of its patented and financial backed influence. This is the trouble with studies.. There's a big need for very pricy funding in order to carry out the studies. In my nearly 7 years of using L theanine (mostly one brand and experimenting with other) I haven't found much difference in any that claim 100% purity. When I tried suntheanine out for 2 months straight daily (around 2 yrs ago) I didn't find any difference in it VS bulk supplements' l theanine. I wouldn't worry too much about branding. So long as you can get verification from the seller/producer that it's 100% L theanine and no D theanine or other fillers then you'll be using the best thing. The one I use (depending on where you live) has the best cost/quality out there

    Love your videos. Question. My Mom suffers from anxiety, she has been taking GABA 600mg and L-Theanine 250mg in the morning at breakfast along with other vitamins like B1 and zinc.
    She has awful insomnia, and take magnesium at night but should she take the L-theanine at night instead, or another 250mg before bed with her magnesium? Thank you!

    • @nextlevelwarrior
      @nextlevelwarrior  Год назад +1

      Is it mag glycinate she takes in the evening?
      A second dose of theanine would help get to sleep for sure. If possibly to start with a smaller dose to see if it helps (100 to 150 of LT). The magnesium and LT could go at the same time. It's worth experimenting with 30min before bed instead of immediately before bed. Also worth experimenting with taking the LT at different times of the day to see how it impacts her. For example trying 2 or 3 hrs after getting up. I know this is alot but a second suggestion (assuming she drinks caffeine) is to cut it off 8 to 10 hrs before bed. Hope this helps.
      Send her my blessings.

      @@nextlevelwarrior - I will! It is so strange because I have always been a great sleeper! I could have caffeine in the evening and still sleep like a baby! I had been sick with a very bad cough and went to the doctor and was on two rounds of antibiotics. This is when all of this started for me with having trouble sleeping. My doctor gave me 50 mg of trazodone which I have tried a few times and sometimes it helps but sometimes it doesn't like last night. I go to bed usually around 11 or 12 but every night it seems like I am up around 3 in the morning and can't get back to sleep for about an hour. For some reason I just get all of this anxiety right before bed. Maybe because I am anxious because I am not getting proper sleep right now. If you have any other pointers for me or anything else I could try, I am happy to hear them! Trust me, I have been Googling and youtubing different things that could help me. I also have been taking magnesium and fish oil. I would much rather take a natural supplement than a prescription medication!!

    Hello! You've suggested taking l'theanine with magnesium glycinate for anxiety. Could you please recommend daily dosages of the two for severe anxiety?

    • @nextlevelwarrior
      @nextlevelwarrior  3 года назад +2

      For Sure!
      Magnesium glycinate - is cumulative so it builds up in the body - for this reason timing isnt too important. Just make sure to get in your 300 to 400 mg. you could split it into two doses if you wish and experiment. If you have trouble sleeping then take half or all your doses an hour before bed.
      L theanine - this will start working it effects on the brain within 30 to 40 minutes.
      Start with 150mg In the morning (maybe 1 hour after getting up - or earlier) and a second dose of 150mg in the early afternoon.
      Wait at least 1 to 2 weeks before considering taking a 3rd dose @ 5pm. I suggest patience because when I was new to it I was very ignorant and this blocked my ability to "feel" what it was doing since it can be subtle.
      You can start with 3 doses but the thing is that you may respond really well to two and this will definitely save you some cash since capsules are much more expensive than pure powder.
      Hope this helps! And one favour I ask is to share your successes with friends, familiy or people you meet that are struggling with anxiety. Spread the magic of L theanine.
