השכיבנו ה" אלוהינו לשלום
והעמידנו מלכנו לחיים
ופרוש עלינו סכת שלומך
ולקננו בעצה טובה מלפניך
והושיענו למען שמך.
והגן בעדנו, והסר מעלינו
אויב דבר, וחרב, ורעב, ויגון,
והסר שטן מלפנינו ומאחרינו
ובצל כנפיך תסתירנו,
כי אל שומרנו ומצילנו אתה,
כי אל מלך חנון ורחום אתה,
ושמור צאתנו ובואנו
לחיים ולשלום,
מעתה ועד עולם.
ופרוש עלינו סכת שלום עלינו
ועל כל עמו ישראל
ועל ירושלים
Help us G-d to lie down in peace
and awaken us, Sovereign to life again.
Spread over us Your shelter of peace
guide us with your good counsel,
save us because of your mercy.
Shield us and remove from us
enemy, sword, disease, starvation and sorrow.
Remove evil forces from before us and behind us
and shelter us in the shadow of your wings.
For You are our guardian and savior,
for You are a kind and merciful G-d,
guard our coming and our going,
grant us life and peace
now and always.
Spread over us a shelter of peace
and over all Your people Israel
and over Jerusalem
