no, the battle of el alamein was in 1942. the helmets wich these soldiers use are from the WW1 era. its the us-model i guess. the britisch ones looked different. and the soldiers have a M1 guerand rifle, as i think, its the us-standard rifle in WW1 era. thats must not mean that ist a pic from that war. interessting: the camouflage pattern seems to be the model of the WaffenSS from like 1943+. I could be wrong oc with my perception.
