Best Black Metal I've heard in a while 🤘
This is the best thing I've heard since I discovered Obtained Enslavement, I've been looking for 2 years now and I've finally found a band that comes close.
I find this to be much closer to Dark Funeral's "The Secrets of the Black Arts".
If you don't know it yet, I recommend "Noirceur Mystique d'Autrefois" by Hyver.
In my opinion, this is the closest thing to Obtained Enslavement compositions (Witchcraft and Soulblight).
But maybe you already know?
@@amduzias4089 @zsjb_ Nice to see some Obtained Enslavement connoisseurs. And great recomendation, listening right now to Hyver and indeed it's great, thank you. In my opinion, the closest you can get to Obtained Enslavemen's orchestral (because it's way more than the usual symphonic stuff) black metal in Soulblight and specially Witchcraft is the band Tenebrae Oboriuntur. Listen to the first EP Waiting for Satan's Rising and the first album Fallax (although only released in 2019, it was actually recorded in 1998). Top notch composition and oldschool raw vibe.
Obtained Enslavement is crap.
