Fun fact with the War Doctor, any exile effect that is undetermined, like Cascade for example, gives you counters for each card. The key thing is "Until" in the effect. Gavin played it on Shuffle Up and Play, the saga effect exiled 41 cards in one chapter so the Doc was up to over 50 counters at the point 😂
I built missy and I have to say she is so fun with morphs and turning cards face up. Plus her built in “card draw” is nice for my play style. Best feeling when I ghostly flickered a hostage taker and a plaguecrafter. Pretty much controlled the whole game with her.
Maybe it's just favouritism because I have a disproportionate fondness for the characters, but I think everyone's overlooking Jenny Flint and Madame Vastra. Sure missing out on white means you're missing a bunch of food and clue cards, but Simic provides plenty while red gives access to some fun artifact damage and sacrifice synergies. Plus there seems to be a bunch of ways to build them, leaning more Voltron, +1/+1 counters, clue, food, artifact sacrifice, or fight based. They're probably not a powerhouse pair but I'm certainly looking forward to trying them out against my playgroup.
I think it's an indication of a good set when so many of these commanders rank quite high on the 'fun' meter. I myself have greatly enjoyed tearing apart the precons and building a dozen wacky decks with the contents.
the eleventh doctor is better paired with Amy Pond and rory Williams. You make The doctor unblockable, as well as amy, and upon damage, stack it so you suspend a card first, then amy will remove time counters from the suspended card. include ways to boost her power before damage is dealt.
5:03 I disagree with your placement of Duggan, there are a bunch of cards in Blue and Green you can punch with Duggan for effects beyond the obvious Stuffy Doll stuff that would make including a flicker piece or two to let him have his punch back worth your time. >Cards like Hornet Nest, Saber Ants or Broodhatch Nantuko to turn your punch into a *lot* of creature tokens, especially if you take advantage of Green's many token doubling effects. >Cards like Body of Knowledge, Grothama, All-Devouring or Illusionary Ambusher you can smack to turn into a lot of card draw to make your big punch man even larger. While I agree that not having access to Red locks out a lot of the 'punch this thing to do damage to your opponent' cards, you have the colours of having some of the stronger card draw effects and creature buffing effects in the game, so you can quickly turn card draw into a very dangerous beatstick that can take advantage of the many evasion tricks blue has including in the pre-con you would get him in to punch your opponents directly one way or another, there is enough there to make an interesting build imo.
The Eighth Doctor feels like it wants to play a similar sort of deck as Muldrotha, but in Azorius and without any recursion 😅 Seems like it could work, but it also feels like a deck that’s trying to fight against its own colour pie, lmao
The more i see these cards spoiled I don't want to buy all four decks but rather just do some custom builds with a few of the legendary creatures. All of these cards together in the precons looks maybe fun but a little chaotic.

The Ninth Doctor/Clara Oswald (black) seems like a fun idea with Cyclonus, the Saboteur. Why not get some Transformers with the Whoniverses Beyond.
Don't forget that all the commanders with Doctor typing can have a companion, so they're more interesting than you may be giving them credit for.
Oh for sure! I’m going to be doing a companion video next :) Wasn’t sure how well this one would do but glad people seem to be liking itN
for the 10th doctor it says when you attack not when it attacks so its whenever anything you have attacks it triggers
Oh I missed that. Good catch!
you should do more long videos, they suit your video style more!

Love the video, but your pronunciation of Dalek hurt me lol.
Listen! You’re not wrong and I got that note a lot from IRL friends lol in my defense I was tired
Looking forward to plying the first Doctor, cascade is fun only problem is if Tardis gets Exiled

honestly that is fair! I didn't even think about those cards. This was just off the cuff first look but yeah I'd move him up a tier probably. :)

Pair The Sixth Doctor with Romana II to make additional non-legendary token copies of your historic spells.
some doctors are designed around some companions

I’ve heard the precons are great but very intricate. I’m definitely on team custom decks tho.
DAH-LEK. DAHHH DAH DAH DAH-LEK
I’m still being roasted lol
@@BRBMTG its ok dw… you should watch this television program however it is very very good
