You're right, I don't need all these fonts. Good one for the style effects 🙂

@Baldy-1 great thanks ,, so with the perpetual purchase do u get titles with it? Also u don't need Microsoft 365 for the powerdirector 365 version do u ? Bit confusing...and can u give me a rough idea of rendering time for say a 20 min video in mp4...I have powerdirector 17 on a 2016 laptop what takes about 45min to render a 15 min video,,either it's my laptop what's slow or just the way powerdirector is..? Thanks?

Those are all great questions. So here goes with what I hope are great answers.
First, all versions of Power Director come with built-in Titles. The perpetual licensed version which is a one-time purchase and is somewhat of a stripped-down version, does come with 40+ titles. The PD365 subscription based version comes with about 700 titles. Don't worry, because all those "missing" 660 titles in the perpetual version are something that you can easily create yourself. You are not really missing anything spectacular. And remember, basically all titles are something you can create yourself. Its just a matter of convenience and viewing what is possible on those extra 660 titles. Make sure that you watch my video "43 - Program Updates, All About CAM".
Next, Microsoft 365 and Power Director 365. This is an easy one and there should be no confusion. Microsoft 365 is the latest incarnation of Office 365 which was the latest incarnation of the Office Suite. Here is where the only confusion comes in. Microsoft 365 for the web is a free version of Microsoft 365 that you can use in a web browser. All you need is to sign up for a Microsoft account with a new or existing email address. Use Word, Excel, PowerPoint and more for free on the web. But these are all somewhat limited versions. You can opt for the more capable version of each program by purchasing the Microsoft 365 subscription based versions.
Next, rendering time has always been a complaint of video editors. While there are some differences in rendering times of various versions and different programs, the most important elements are your graphics processing unit and the cpu. You are using an older version of PD on an older laptop and that is going to be a recipe for the possibility of slow rendering times. Your laptop may actually be using "integrated graphics" by having the cpu do all of the graphic work itself or it may have a dedicated graphics processing unit (GPU) aka a graphics card which does one thing and one thing only, render the graphics for the screen. It is dedicated to that purpose and naturally the better the GPU, the faster your rendering time will be. In summary, I would say that its your laptop that is causing the slower rendering times but there could be other reasons why it is slow, not just the cpu or the lack of a modern gpu.
