Looks disappointing overall. Even some of the ageing 737 have IFE. Qantas taking short cuts and charging the highest fares. New management but same shit.
I wouldn’t say that, it could be more impressive but it’s still very good. It’s a regional jet so wouldn’t expect IFE. I do agree though that Qantas takes short cuts and charges a premium…
It is indeed strange there was no water salute. I'm fairly sure we got one on the 787, and it was fairly far from its first flight when I flew on it domestically back in 2017. Great vid!
@@Aviation763 It really is a great plane, Isn't it. I have been Waiting for it to come to australia for a very long time, and was very happy when qantas announced it.
Nice video. Quick upload too! It's a great looking plane in the QF livery, almost like a baby Dreamliner. Awesome that you could be apart of that inaugural.
Hello, I Am the Same Comment in the Viet Travels Air. Would You Please Do the Best to Fly from Manila (MNL) To New York City (NYC) A350-900XWB That's Like 16 Hours' Worth of Journey. So, can you please fly it, it is extra comfy and has more legroom than the old Airbus A330-300 Red Eye Flight. That Would Make Me Happy Because I Live in the Philippines. And I Am a Big Fan of Your Channel. Thank You!
Hello! I’d definitely consider it for next year, as I’ve had a few people ask me to do that, I don’t think it’ll happen this year through sorry. Hopefully next year! Thank you so much!
Hi. Your videos are great. Just wondering, what type of camera do you use to film your videos? And what software app do you use to edit your youtube videos? Do you edit it on your mobilephone or laptop?
I got a question, said in a previous comment I'll be flying on my own domestically. I just want to ask, which airline should I go with. Melbourne to Adelaide or Melbourne to Gold Coast most likely. I'm thinking of either Bonza or Qantas from your reviews, but help me choose gentlemen. Nice callab with Jayden Wong, good youTuber.
Thanks! If you’re looking for low-cost Bonza is great but can be a bit iffy with reliability, otherwise Jetstar NEO will do the job. For full service I’d personally go with Rex unless you have Qantas or VA status. Hope that helps :)
Yeah I get what you’re saying. But I understand why they wouldn’t, as Singapore doesn’t operate and doesn’t need to operate to regional airports, scoot does that for them because there’s no need for a luxury airline on those routes.
It will be a shame to see the end of the 717 but then again they can't keep flying them forever. Lets just hope this A220 is as good as they say it is. I've only heard 1 minor complaint about them and that's when the engines spool up they make a horrible Whining noise for a couple of seconds that can be a bit hard on the ears. Not sure if I heard it in the video or not.
Yeah. The A220 is a fantastic regional jet, but idk about taking a 5+ hour flight on it… The wale noise is only heard a few times throughout the flight, and as an avgeek I think it’s a cool sound. My hesitation with doing a medium-haul flight on this plane would be the setback padding and legroom.
Wow looks very nice inside p, although if it’s true that Qantas would be using these planes on international routes to south east Asia and the pacific might be more ideal if they had IFE.
Good video and edited and up quick - great job. I swear you are becoming more and more Jayden as time goes on 😅 I considered taking this flight actually, but opted to leave it to the vloggers and so on. I'll try it next week when I'll be on both X4A and X4B. I hope you enjoy the goodie bag A220 model. Quite envious of that one.
Wow great video, I had no idea when they would start operating passenger services so cool to hear they started today. Also nice job making it so quickly
Nice, congrats on your Qantas's 1st inaugural Airbus A220 flight to Canberra. I wish, Qantas, Airbus A220 has window inside the lavatory. $215 for a 1 way flight to Canberra is quite expensive, but that's okay, even though your special flight is almost full. I flown the Airbus A220 on Delta for the 1st time, but on the 100 San Francisco to Salt lake city and the flight is good, 1 and a half hour and what is special about the Airbus A220, they have window inside the lavatory, I love it and I wish all airlines have window inside the lavatory.
By the way i saw a Qantas A220-300 at brissie airport it was parked at a gate.. im not sure if it was accepting passengers though(that was around 2 weeks ago)
I've been on the A220 on Air Canada and airBaltic, and I can definitely tell that it's a game changer. It's well designed cabin is like no other, and it's fuel efficiency is the best in its class, also low noise and big windows as well!
just came back from school, and you see this bloke uploaded a new video, you know you doing something right.
Haha thanks!
Taking over A220@@Aviation763
beautiful! Subbed!
Thank you so much!
wow nice plane what you think of the new airbus
Yeah! Assuming you mean the A220 I love it!
sam chui was on that flight :)
He was in a different non-commercial flight
oh mb, tho he was on that airplane at one point, my bad bro :)@@Aviation763
Good job mate! you got this out fast!
Thank you so much, it was great meeting you! I try 😂
yes, nice chatting briefly! @@Aviation763
To everyone who are wondering, Coffs will have it's last 717 flight on the 26th October, we are getting the A220 on the Coffs to Melbourne route
I was actually wondering that, i thought that might be the case and i was aware the A220 would to the Coffs run
I was wondering about that actually! I took the 717 to Coffs last August. And back to Melbourne of course.
Looks disappointing overall. Even some of the ageing 737 have IFE. Qantas taking short cuts and charging the highest fares. New management but same shit.

That green A220 next to you was in the qantas hangar in canberra 2 weeks ago
Yeah it’s been all over the place doing training flights.
Oh my god bro, you were just the best. I love your videos so much❤ I am a HUGE FAN :)
Thank you so much!
Wasn't the green coloured Qantas plane next to you also an A220?
Yeah!
It is indeed strange there was no water salute. I'm fairly sure we got one on the 787, and it was fairly far from its first flight when I flew on it domestically back in 2017. Great vid!

Thanks for that video I was actually on that flight a day after you uploaded
You’re welcome! Cool!

Great review Mr, was good meeting you in the CBR lounge today 🤟. It's a great aircraft to fly on❤
Thank you! Nice to meet you too. Yeah it is!
Awesome video! So quick! What was in the goodie bags?
Thanks! I try my best ahaha. A model plane, the cookie, a lanyard and a piece of paper with info on the inaugural flight.
Nice video. Quick upload too! It's a great looking plane in the QF livery, almost like a baby Dreamliner. Awesome that you could be apart of that inaugural.
Thank you! Yeah haha. Yeah the nose does resemble a bit of a mini Dreamliner. Yeah it really was!
hey i spotted your flight today
Awesome!
Nice aeroplane! Fun occasion! Solid review as usual

It is yeah
Another great flight review Hugo, very informative.

Great video. But the ticket is pricey.
Thank you! Yeah it was…

I am currently just starting to create youtube content and i am still learning on how to do it😊
Thank you so much! Thinking of changing but at the moment I just use my phone and capcut 😂 I don’t need anything special for what I do
great trip report as awlays. Keep up the great work! Would love to see those creamy coloured seats on most of Qantas's aircraft.
Thank you so much! I will! Yeah they’re cool, they’ll be on the A321neos and A350s too 👀
nice
Thanks!

Like, the Scoot E190E2 is cool and all, but surely Singapore Airlines could do with adding A220s to complement the 737 Max jets?
Yeah I get what you’re saying. But I understand why they wouldn’t, as Singapore doesn’t operate and doesn’t need to operate to regional airports, scoot does that for them because there’s no need for a luxury airline on those routes.

Yeah I’d agree about the IFE for a 5+ hour flight, but for shorter domestic flights the wifi is more than enough!

this should be the ATR 72 replacement for Air New Zealand
Yeah the A220-100 could work for that

yo, contents great man, keep up the good work, btw...where were u flying to?
Thank you so much! Canberra :)
Hey, I was wondering what your favorite plane is?
Hi! I don’t have one specifically, but the 767, 747, A350 and MD-80/90 series would be up there for sure
Nice, congrats on your Qantas's 1st inaugural Airbus A220 flight to Canberra. I see.
Good aicraft, s%@# airline, s%@# lounge….

Hey Bro 👋
Great review of the inaugural flight with the A220. Pity they didn't have IFEs as I don't have a laptop.
Catch you on your next one 👋
