I love the fact that you value your thoughts and continually share your thinking (your realization of how the world or life is). It constantly reminds me to value my thoughts and weigh them for truth for they do not only stay in my life, but form my life which in contact with other lives again reveals my thinking. Thank you Justin.
Why did you delete videos that you created in the past? 1. Conquer anger before it consumes you 2. Vulnerability comes before strength 3. When things are hopeless, it's time to let go 4. This is how short your life is 5. The myth of working hard
very nice video, thank you! also i want to say that the "white noise" effect on animation elements is too strong, it sometimes makes a video almost unwatchable for me
"But eventually, a journalist who had received an anonymous tip from one of Jim's employees..." if Jim was smart enough to lie for profits he would be smart enough to pay his employees just enough to stay quiet about the whole thing. And if he was super smart he'd hire Janice and use his profits to produce a better quality product together. But since competition is more dominant in society than cooperation I doubt anything like that could ever happen... or maybe it could what the fuck do I know lol
That's probably what ultimately happened in the big corporates though, a bunch of Jims employ tons of Janices, you know some of those CEOs or capitalists are mega money hungry, well some seem to have good intentions, but still money is needed to keep the company running thus still a high or even highest priority and finally, we get our world today.
I don't think that the people who created all these fast food chains had any other intention than making money, and yet they are successful even if they are causing obesity and poisoning people
where is overthinking/good intention (zen) video Really liked this video too and inspired by it. Hope you keep making such videos and pls don't remove them.
Four steps of becoming more productive: Step 1. Have an intent. Step 2. See from the perspective of your intention. Step 3. Learn the thing you desire to learn by utilizing your chosen perspective. Step 4. Create products made from what you learn. Did I get any of this right?

So should I learn for others and not for myself? Did I get the message right? Are you saying we should be productive with good intentions and that's the way? I will be honest, but those two examples are not representative of the way people are productive. In both cases, the reporter and the blogger could have just been "coincidence" and not that if they go down that particular path they will surely get the same outcome. On the other hand, I agree with you at the beginning (you just didn't say it fully) that instead of lots of apps and programs, you should do the work that matters. I think the point is: Put in the time and do it. And if you can, do it efficiently.
what an nice video but if i may can add an comment on it the music was like an yoga calmdown way can u put slowy classic one in my opinion it would fit better but i can be wrong
In real life and in many countries Jim is not sued, while Janice can’t make money. Jims are lying, they are coming up with many ideas and are gaining money. When Janice wants to make money with good intention, she is not as profitable for government, she can’t make money to feed het own business as she loses to Jims in short terms, and Jims intentionally make for Janices harder to survive.
I actually agree with you, but at this time, on this particular topic, I think what you are saying is just a small example of todays world, and I just brought another example that is as real as yours
I will criticize you as I like your videos, but this time you did a poor job. Maybe it’s just me and maybe I am wrong … but on this video you don’t get my like
Tbf life is all about luck. It just so happens that the sheer volume of opportunities these days are so numerous that what seems like "luck" is just the byproduct of people who are catalysts of opportunities and are skilled enough to notice them.
Well in some parts of our reality in the big corporates, or just corporates and companies, a bunch of Jims employ tons of Janices, you know some of those CEOs or capitalists are mega money hungry, well some seem to have good intentions, but still money is needed to keep the company running thus still a high or even highest priority and finally, we get our world today. The world that mostly run and circulate around money and materials.
This is why I don’t accept dirty money. It’s a quick way to destroy yourself. Even funnier because I had a talk with a police officer a month ago about this.
Great video, Great art style, and great lesson. Also Janice would be motivated to treat her customers from her heart, and taking good care of her health to provide the best service possible... I think it is not about the goal that you have in mind, but wether you acted with virtue or not. For me, that was the real difference.
But that's not true, and it's way more nuanced. The customer does not care that much about ethics. The person who created this video, and you, the person watching, did not choose to use electronics that was ethically sourced. You did not pay more for your devices to be ethically righteous. This video is some kind of Disney fantasy about how the world should be, not as it actually is. It is also weirdly hypocritical, because there is no "Law of Productivity". So you're lying about laws to make a video, you're also giving people ideas about conduct in business that demonstrably isn't true, to make a profit serving ads for Google. What was your intention creating this video? Was it to describe the world, enlighten and educate? Or is it to make money for yourself? According to socialblade, your channel is "education", and this is quite the poor education if your goal is to educate.
I mostly agree with you except for "The customer does not care that much about ethics." In most cases, if a person has the choice between an "ethically sourced" and a "non-ethically sourced" product, they will choose the ethically sourced one. Most people want to do good, but there is a trade off between spending a lot of time researching what is an ethically sourced computer and on the other hand trusting that the company didn't do anything bad to get the parts, etc. and just getting the computer for whatever you need it for. People do care about being ethical, it's just hard.
The way you see business is narrow-minded and honestly it is very insulting. That mindset where "profit is everything in a business" mostly exist on people who never own a business of their own or at least a small-timer owner. Any business owner know that it is always better to gain "trust" than "profit" in the long run. There is a saying in my country that "while the new merchants chase the profit, the mature ones goes for benefits"
I dont really agreed on a coffee shop example. Our world is way more complex and no one can guarantee that neither a bastard will be caught nor honest ppls will be rewarded. The world is mostly in a grey zone then rather black and white

That’s not the point tho. The video is just trying to differentiate shallow productivity and real productivity. Good thought but it’s just an example.
I don't think that the people who created all these fast food chains had any other intention than making money, and yet they are successful even if they are causing obesity and poisoning people
A simple elegant explanation, I've never thought it this way as the "why" we are living an economy full of scams.
