I wasted all my years in gaming, fast food and drugs which spiraled into depression. At the age of 32 I changed everyting lost 50kg, went back to college to gain several qualifications. I years later I've seen unbelievable success and now on to the next chapter. Dare to be Exceptional. Dare to be Uncommon!
What the hell happens between 40-80, I feel like everyone is scrambling to live a full life in their 20s, and they'll become old and wise in their 30s. But holy shit, we live till 80. I feel so pressured all the time to party and enjoy life, but honestly, I'm still processing through a lot of unresolved emotions and I'm just starting to learn who I am. I just turned 23 a few weeks ago. I feel so behind, but I've finally slowed down and learned to find peace with it. It's a marathon, not a race.
You’re correct. We gotta stop this youth worship culture that basically says once your old life is over. And “old” in their eyes is actually still pretty fucking young! Just stay on track and don’t do anything that won’t benefit you in the future.
40-80 is taking care of your health, family, finances or everything you needed to do in your 20's and 30's but didn't so now you don't have as much energy or time to play catch up. People don't talk about those ages much because everyone is on different wavelengths. Some people work. Some people don't. Some people have families. Some people are taking care of aging parents. Some are druggies. Some are brilliant, etc. When you're young, you're trying to find your footing and you're open to advice so there's a lot of these videos.
Just turned 29, 100% agree with you. But I do think I could have learned more, learning is super convenient these days because of the internet. I encourage everyone to actively learn something new everyday.
I'm turning 20 in 3 days, and the way I see it is do what you want, while looking out for your future. Find a balance between things that will compound into the future, and things that are seen as useless. You don't need to be grinding every day hard 15 hours a day; you would be doing that already if you had a good reason. But you don't, and you don't need to go looking for such a reason. Life is not about who wins this rat race, your battles lie somewhere special, and you need to acknowledge that place and make visiting it regular. Relax, and avoid doing things that you'll regret at all costs.
That's the challenge. Striking a balance between saving for your future, so that 30s+ are enjoyable, preparing for family life etc. & enjoying your 20s so that you don't later regret a missed youth. I see both extremes: - couples that want kids but can't afford, struggling to pay rent - people in their 30s desperately trying to relive missed experiences from their 20s
@@hipunpunI see the latter option as more desirable. Anything you can do in your twenties(leisure wise) you can do much bigger and better in your thirties. I think the thirties should be for “living life” and the twenties for finding and building a career.
@@hipunpun What's wrong with having fun in your 30s? Ppl think you get old when u turn 30. Go to the gym dont eat dumb sh 4t all the time and let loose you'll feel great in your 30s with way more money and investments.
@maltheri9833 Makes sense. Maybe I just can't understand the concept because I've been planning my 20s to 30s for the longest and actually going through with it
01:00: Key Mistake: Prioritizing pleasure over building a strong foundation. 03:00: Energy Investment: Invest energy wisely in your 20s for long-term benefits. 04:30: Compound Interest: Small, consistent efforts lead to big rewards. 08:00: Purchasing Power: Energy decreases with age, so invest early. 10:00: Five Assets: Focus on productive, spiritual, intellectual, social, and physical capital. 16:30: Action Plan: Create a sustainable daily schedule to invest in these five key areas.

40-year-old serial entrepreneur here. Work hard in your 20s, but also have fun. There is a brief window where you’re young and eager to explore life. Don’t waste it being all business all the time. Go to parties, travel, hook up, and experiment in all the ways that appeal to you. It won’t feel right if you wait until you’re 30+ to start scratching that itch, and there’s nothing sadder than someone 50+ trying to live the fun life they postponed in their 20s.
@@mikeoxmall2170 I was broke in my 20s and was still able to have a blast. I got a job in China teaching English so someone else paid for my travel, and then was a club DJ on the weekends (which was easy to land because I was the only Caucasian DJ in town). Be creative and you’ll find ways to live your 20s to the fullest.
Thank you for your words brother. Definitely something I needed to hear. I work so much being off feels weird. Maybe I just need to enjoy what I have in front of me instead of always trying to build for something ahead of me
Some get to know what to do in their lives very early on, but most would still be exploring the best career path for them in their 20s, which is how they get to life better than one who is not who is just stuck with one thing for life.
This is such a dilemma everyone will feel in my 20’s I worked out, dated, finished college, and worked my current career, I have a home and 2 kids with my wife. I maintain contact with many friends and family and a lot of them like me feel like our 20’s were wasted and we did nothing. I always regret never traveling and being single in my 20’s as opposed to my brother who skipped college and won big on the lottery and indulged in his desires, He even told me he wished he was more like me growing up 😂 the irony this life gives you sometimes is so fucking funny, and not matter what you will unfortunately always try to live out each day like it’s the best day. In all honesty tho it’s still a day to day thing me and many others will struggle. So don’t regret anything you have being given the right to live through
The biggest secret to life is no matter what you do- you will fuck something up. No matter what you do, even if you did everything “right,” you’ll never have done it “right”.
Bro virtually nobody who lives it up in their 20’s actually thinks they made the right choice. Best thing is to create a foundation first, 30’s is not even old 😂
@@SorryDudeImBroke Yeah because anyone who actually had all the fun while in their 20s will know they will struggle later since they have not built a foundation But the thing is a person who has all the fun and achieved what they wanted in their 20s has no reason to live past 20s in the first place
The problem we have is because Most people always taught that " you only need a good job to become rich. These billionaires are operating on a whole other playbook that many don't even know exists.
It is remarkable how much long term advantage people like us have gotten by trying to be consistently not stupid, instead of trying to be very intelligent.
The wisest thing that should be on everyone mind currently should be to invest in different streams of income that doesn't depend on government paycheck, especially with the current economic crisis around the world. This is still a time to invest in Stocks, Forex and Digital currencies.
Many individuals report success in investing in stocks, forex, and cryptocurrency (Bitcoin), yet I continue to struggle. Can somebody help me out or advise me on what to do?
Even with the appropriate method and assets, some investors will still outperform others. As an investor, you should already know that nothing surpasses experience, and that is final. Personally, I had to seek advice from a stock specialist, which allowed me to build my account by over $35k, extract my profit just before the correction, and now I'm purchasing again.
Its never too late to start. Im almost 30. And had no time and energy left due to trauma and mental abusiveness. So I was mainly struggling and mainly focusing on getting out of this shithole, and to be fair I did it quiet good. Could be better of course, but yeah, What I want to say is even if no one is there to help u to get u trough life, at least you have yourself, dont let yourself down and keep moving forward.
Just hit 26 and i kinda went through the same thing ... Having to battle for your future, against others (own family included), against your demons inside your head ... Thank you for your words brother, i wish you all the best ❤️
There are no garuntees in life. Who says youll live that long for all that hard work to pull off. Work hard but have some fun. Enjoy your life, no day is promised to you
I am so glad that I saved up in my twenties and waited until I was 32 to waste most of my time and drink every day. Now that I'm in my 40's I have so much more time for video games than I ever did a couple of decades ago and have a fully paid for condo. It's all about priorities.
@@edotedy Al of the things are true. Just hunkered down, worked extra hours and spent next to nothing except towards paying down the mortgage. Now I don't have to work 5 days a week if I don't want to.
The biggest mistake people in their 20s make is not investing enough energy into building a strong foundation for the rest of their lives. People tend to focus on chasing pleasure in their 20s, and don't realize the cost this will have on their future. invest your energy wisely in your 20s: compound interest, purchasing power, and the five best assets to invest in. Compound interest is a financial concept that shows how small investments can grow into much larger sums over time. Purchasing power refers to how much you can buy with your money. Your purchasing power tends to decline as you get older because you have more responsibilities and your health starts to decline. This means that the energy you have in your 20s is more valuable than the energy you will have in your 30s and 40s. The five best assets to invest in are productive capital, spiritual capital, intellectual capital, social capital, and physical capital.
Thanks you saved me time to not watch the 12 minutes. I just read this in 1. All things are pretty much known to me. So i will not waste any more time and go watch smth else. Thank you a lot stranger. Your effort saved me time.
Stfu, i want to have as many days of pleasure as possible but its not possible. Im working all day, by parents are dying and i never had ANY friends. I want to know how it is to be young, not how it is to work in a gulag. This video is a bullshit for bullshit people
If u don’t know what job you want definitely don’t go to colllege and bury yourself in debt. Get a job in your local area and try to be as reliable and hardworking as you can. Always seek overtime/ live below your means/ and invest the rest into multiple things you believe will be worth more in the future .
Hell no, don’t always seek overtime. Life isn’t about work. You need a balance. 40 hours a week is the max anyone should be working unless you cannot make ends meet, then work overtime.
I turn 25 on Sunday the 30th of June, 1:08 hit me so hard. I'm investing wisely from here on out, forethought and more discipline will be added to my pillars. Thank you for the wake up call.
very good content, i think that even though you aren't in your twenties you could be benefited by constructing good habits. now i am 23 and i work in my dreams every day. last year i have improved my english, start working as a software developer after dropout college two years ago and cultivating strong relationships by opening my personality. i wish everyone could grow as much or more than i have. work in your dreams and achieve your goals, you deserve it.
That's so cool Im 18 and I'm learning to code I already know English but I felt I tis to late because there's people or kids who starter earlier and I am likeಠ_ಠ
@@normalhether5806 Knowing English is a great advantage, the most powerful content is in that languaje. I also started coding at 18 in college and I also felt like you, but seeing backforward, it doesnt matter much. In the long run coding is not enough to success in tech industry. People who started college with me and finished recently are working with me now. They didnt develop any other skill and now they didnt even know how to talk with clients, bosses, recruiters or coworkers. You are very young, and if you are scared by not being the smartest developer in five years, try being a normal developer with leadership skills, it will have more value when you start working. In general, highly talented people in tech industry lack the ability to have the broad vision that leadership would give you.
In my 50's now, and I learned all this only recently. So, so true. You young people please listen and take these things to heart. Struggling, of any kind, is no fun and it wastes time.
I personally dont agree with everything in the video. I m 34 and I ve met my future wife by partying in my 20s. I ve met people via gaming in my 20s who became probably my best Friends today. I could travel and meet some online friends as well. I ve found a new work which is way better than the old one thanks to my contacts as well etc. Most important I would say is fucking chill. Do what make you happy and if you take a décision think deeply if it is to make pleasure to your parents ? Family ? Or is it a décision coming from the deep of your heart. Thanks to those who will read me. Much love ❤️
Yeah these new age videos are bullshit made by finance bros. It's all MuH InvEsTmenT. But it's true that you should not dwell in hedonism and still think about your future. Doesn't mean you can't have fun. Otherwise, believe me, you aren't partying at 40.
@@indiasupportsthereturnofth1475 What are saying? I only got 3 years left to build my five interests. I am not going to stop improving myself when I reach my own 30's, but still.
People always told me that I am way too serious for a 20something year old. That I am 'wasting' my twenties by not partying more. Now I am 30 and I am one of the few of my friend group that has a kid, married, large house almost paid off and by far the best job. A job even I thought was unattainable by 30... It all stems of my constant gaze at the future. It gives me pleasure to plan ahead and invest. Now I use my money and time to see the world with my wife and daughter without any worries.
The key is to balance everything. If u keep having fun u will struggle financially later, i you keep working u will regret that not u have enough money but no energy to have fun. So everything is not just about money think on broader levels.
The biggest problem is that we have to min-max our entire existence, sacrifice everything, just so we can live a decent live at best... and the stress and worries don't go away, if anything they just increase... I've been going to the gym, studying, working hard(I'm a software developer) for 4 years(I'm 25) and things don't get easier, they get harder and worse... -_- And the problem is that life is such due to man made problems and systems instead of anything outside of human control...
Hey, no worries! As 33 years old person, I can say that when I was a bit younger the things were looking grim for me too. In my opinion for getting that good life, the most important thing is to be conscious and analytical of the situation you're in. From your comment and the job you mentioned I am sure you checked that one out. With a little bit of energy and focus on the right directions, I am sure that you will have great years ahead! Let's not forget one more - Good luck! : )
I am 19 this video is the best forever, it's so surprising that I never felt nearly completed or well oriented in my life since I turned 18, I think this is the best video which summarize one of the most interesting life lessons, I can fell my future now. Thanks.🎉
Give yourself small challenges. "hitchhike 200km" or walk 50km. It will bring you a sparkle of inspiration and idea for another challenge. And the goal is not to be "the first man who done this or that", that's ego. I did those challenges, step by step, I was like I want to build a raft, or climb a tiny mountain, and then you ask yourself "what do I really really want", after all of this. And you become exactly what you want, no running around the topic in denial with excuses. "I play piano, I dont want to be a pianist, I don't want to be a piano teacher, I just love piano. So today I will do everything to become a guy who fix pianos, and my existence is dedicated to make as much musical instruments available to people as possible". You cannot reach that *"true me" in one day, the peak of a mountain is a lot of work. It took me 5 years personnally (Age 26 to 30) - 1st step, go for a 50km walk, you will get back by bus or whatever, and tell us what happenned in this seemingly stupid journey.
Hey, you earned a subscriber. I am really impressed with the way you have explained the relationship between energy and compounding. During my early 20s I was involved in fun activities haunting for short term showy pleasure. After finishing my bachelor's, I started looking for a job, however, my skills were not up to mark which companies were asking for. I instantly realised that I have wasted a lot of energy during my academics and hence I am witnessing these commotion. I wish I had someone who could have helped me understand this vital energy allocation in life. I am 27 now I am working at MNC but I feel underpaid as I have wasted my early 20s energy. Guys be watchful of your energy it really matters for our success.
I am nearly 40 and regret not investing my time on the right thing earlier. So true that in 30 and 40 the energy level getting lower and stress level increased along with more complex responsibilities and health issues. Thank you for sharing this important message, may it benefit the young and older (better starting late than never).
Hi, Freedom in Thought, thank you for this vast insight you have provided to me. I am on the verge of the 20s, watching this! I will utilize these tools to defeat humiliation!
Don't forget to cut the avocado toast to save money, but in all seriousness this is some quality boomer tier advice. This fails to address the next to no net gain of wealth of younger generations over time. Meaning after cost of living and usually college/etc debt payoff there is little to nothing left to put in some 20 year portfolio. Honestly, the more responsible thing to do with the little left over is put it in a rainy day savings fund, or pay down the principle of your mortgage if you were lucky enough to buy a house before the market went insane.
Was looking for someone who addresses this. With the state of the economy as it is now, it's unlikely that working hard in your 20s will yield better results, this would just cause burnout. No matter the age work-life balance is important.
i feel like working hard for people of millennial and gen x actually had a reasonable payoff, in general z we work just as hard if not harder for scraps. i’m going into the tech field and have to pay for all kinds of outside courses that are separated from my college education (that should already prepare me fully with the tuition i’m paying) just to still not be 100% guaranteed repayment for my trouble.
I'm Gen Z. Nothing he said in the vid was bad. He's literslly just talking about time management and making every decision worth it. I've seen a lot of my gen who are involved im vice...their sad, depressed and JADED. So divided they can't even come to a sensible compromise and build any form of community. Modern society is FAILING cause TOO many people are GOOFING off. Its all about BALANCE and focusing and the things that MATTER
Sometimes that rainy day fund, becomes a source of supplemental income thru investments!! Ideally side hustle takes over the main hustle and u retire young gl all!! ❤
If you're watching this video because of various insecurities or regrets in life - don't worry. I'm currently 30. You have a long way to go. We've got at least 50 years to go. Luckily I continued to work on various good habits and saved up money and I'm in a very good place compared to most people my age despite some extreme set backs in my life. Family issues, severe depression blah blah blah. No need to go into it. You've got the control. Focus on what you can do and stop blaming other people or your situation for why you aren't where you want to be. Waste of energy.
Thank you! I just turned 20, and this video really opened my eyes again. I had been quite disciplined and consistent in almost every aspect last year. Now that I've achieved some of my goals, I've regressed and become inconsistent with my daily routine. It seems I've become content, but it's time to start again. I finished my senior high with high honors, built a fit and healthy body, and developed strong financial assets, thanks to my father helping me find a good part-time job. Through consistent budgeting, saving, and investing, I've built a solid foundation. I want to be better than I was back then. I shouldn't be content with my recent achievements, especially now as I enter my first year in college next month.
As long as you stay moving and keep your mind sharp you won’t run out of energy. But as you grow older your capacity for recovery becomes smaller, so you must prioritize rest into your daily routine.
I’m watching this as someone helps 18 and I really can’t believe how much this revolves around money. It’s either prepare for the future for a decade but have almost nobody similar to you in terms of how far they are in life, or have fun now but suffer later, which is a suffer or suffer option.
Thank you so much for creating contents that inspire and help us overcome our weakness and focus on things that we should instead work on. We appreciate you and will forever treasure your pieces of advice. Love all the way from ph. Padayon!
Ive always focused on study etc. Now im 35 and still have nothing. My friends who enjoyed life have big personal debts, i have huge student loans. My bachelors degree is worthless since expats are more cheaper. I regret being a obediend youngster
One thing is for sure: whether you're still in your 20s or now in your 30s, it's never too late. Regretting things you haven't done won't get you anywhere. If you want to have fun, work hard and play hard. As you get older, you won't have the same energy you had when you were younger. I learned that the hard way. Instead of accumulating regrets, let your experiences serve as valuable life lessons. Even having fun is part of the learning curve. 🙂
Very inspiring video, but keep in mind that self growth will not always be linear, which means that compound interest case wouldn't simply applied to every real life scenario. The purpose of being discipline is not actualy to be better than average person in the future, more likely it's for getting a better chance to have a better outcome for yourself.
this is gold, i will make sure to revisit this video from time to time As of today I am 19yrs old and today's date is 10/06/24 thanks a lot for this one man

This is not really accurate, at my 20s I was making barely any money, even with compounding after 10 years it would be nothing compared to what I’m making now. Travelling and enjoying life in my 20s was much better than the small amount of money I could have invested.
@ibraheemmonks8866 I regret having studied humanities and not exercising. I should have studied something that is good to make money, not something that I liked.
I'm 22. My parents are always wondering why I'm not spending my whole paycheck on alcohol and girls. That's what they did when they were my age. Today Australia is the most expensive country to live in the world. I invest my money so I can eventually quit the rat race and work for myself from home. I save my money to travel the world. I eat healthy and exercise. I do all this so that by the time I'm in my 30s and 40s I'll move to a Cheaper country, own a home with no mortgage and be able raise children the best way possible. I don't want to make the same mistakes my parents made.

Even with that in mind, if all those hours belong to your boss invest in atleast 30 mins in each of the capital areas at the beginning and end of your day. I wake up at 5 and sleep at 9 so I have a good 1hr30mins in the morning and another 1hr30mins before bed to kill, with time to spare for errands, chores, meals, and commutes. Social capital can be a lunch, dinner, phone call or drinks after work. You can easily slot the others as a wake up and a wind down routine. I'd personally add a "play capital" slot to take part in a leisure hobbie or craft that is fun and engages your mind over going on social media and save movies and series for the weekend. It's doable. Just figure out what is important to you.
if it was guaranteed to get to your 30's and beyond in a condition of complete health, i'd be really keen in investing my energies on an "old school far-sighted thing". We gotta agree tho, that nothing's certain. Thus I believe that investing those energies in well bonded and true friendships, will make you feel even better, since creating bonds means spending time with others, having fun and aknowledging something new every day. And you'll be sure that, whenever needed, those friends will always be there for you.
Almost 26 and I feel the regret now. The parties, drinking and drugs, chasing women aren’t worth it at all. Only now building the foundation, going back to college, playing sports again, make the gym a priority and learning to trade/invest, also building a strong mindset a toolbox of different concepts. If I could go back at 19 -20 I never would’ve wasted time. Grind for 2-5 years on something and you will be way ahead of most 20yo aimlessly wasting their life. And stay off dating apps that shit is useless and glad I never got into it. Good luck
Bro are you kidding me. I'm the same age as you and even I've "wasted" time but I still feel hopefull. Started college online, have a job that pays well enough, soon will be hitting the gym on a regular. We're still very young bro. Heck 30 is young. Don't buy into all this youth worship by the media. And please don't compare yourself with others. We all regret not doing things earlier on, but we probably lacked the wisdom back then to do so. But we've gained it now, we're wiser now and we're still young af. 20 yo are just 5-6 years younger thsn us. By the time we're in our 60s do you think anyone will care about someone being 5 years younger than them. I mean we're all the same age group basically, the same generation. It's just that some of us weren't as lucky.

22 years old today 😢😔🙂 1. Compound interest: Good habits and bad habits compound little by little. With time there will be a significant change either up or down. 2. Purchasing Power: Energy gradually decreases as we get older. More responsibilities are required to be fulfilled. Energy declines as time flows so we must do as much right as we can in our youths. 3. The 5 Big Assets Expertise and professionalism. Deep social connection (measured by voluntarily showing up to support and celebrate with you). The best advice is minimalism Forget money, cars, houses Do this in order 1) know who u are 2) know what u want 3) know what the world is 4) know what u can achieve in this world 5) get goals, only the most important goals to u 6) get a plan, plan A-Z 7) go with your plans, adapt and reevaluate along the way
1. Early good habits 2. The younger you are, the more wnegy you have 3. 5 assets: Production Capital, Spiritual Capital, Social Capital, Physical Capital 4. Make a daily schedule
enough with all this “productivity” optimisation “life hacks”. To schedule everyday human life with blocks of “social life” “intellectual life” and so on? That’s dystopia.
Balance is important, just as much as you should build, you should also have time for yourself, have fun, spend some time with your favorite people..etc.
When you're lonely, things are different. It's seems to make it easier when thinking about relationships and friendship, because no one is with you anymore. You feel like an outsider, you've lost even hope in finding even someone to talk to, to share your ideas with, your feelings. The only thing I won't regret when I'll be old enough to feel what regret really means, is that I've spent the majority of my time crying. And crying was the only thing that helped me to feel I'm alive, I cry because I'm sad and because nothing brings me joy anymore. If anything brings me a bit of feeling that I'm alive, it is reading, nothing else. I do not feel I want to live anymore. But I'm thankful books exist, because without books I won't be here.
Don't give up on the pain. We forgot the way Not too long ago, We were fathers, mothers and even principles in our 20s. back then, we struggled to survivr and feed the family because we were adults. 30 this year, we still young and change can happen at any age, my twenties was golden and full of energy.
Awesome! Good for you and god bless
This was my first emotional reaction when I watched this video. At first I couldn't put a finger on what it was. Thank you for putting it into words!
The struggle of choosing between “saving money for the future, and having fun now but not have enough for tomorrow”
That's the challenge.
Striking a balance between saving for your future, so that 30s+ are enjoyable, preparing for family life etc. & enjoying your 20s so that you don't later regret a missed youth.
I see both extremes:
- couples that want kids but can't afford, struggling to pay rent
- people in their 30s desperately trying to relive missed experiences from their 20s

Tbh you didn't sound like you have wasted your 20s. Since no one can see the future, Regrets are useless unless you know you will regret things later
Bro virtually nobody who lives it up in their 20’s actually thinks they made the right choice. Best thing is to create a foundation first, 30’s is not even old 😂
@@SorryDudeImBroke yeah my friend spent all his money and went back to his family house and startee from zero. It goes both ways. He had fun tho
@@SorryDudeImBroke
Yeah because anyone who actually had all the fun while in their 20s will know they will struggle later since they have not built a foundation
But the thing is a person who has all the fun and achieved what they wanted in their 20s has no reason to live past 20s in the first place
The problem we have is because Most people always taught that " you only need a good job to become rich. These billionaires are operating on a whole other playbook that many don't even know exists.
Money invested is far better than
money saved, when you invest it gives
you the opportunity to increase your
financial worth.
It is remarkable how much long term
advantage people like us have gotten by trying to be consistently not stupid,
instead of trying to be very intelligent.
The wisest thing that should be on
everyone mind currently should be to
invest in different streams of income
that doesn't depend on government
paycheck, especially with the current
economic crisis around the world.

It's true that owning up to your mistakes and learning from them is a key part of personal growth."
💯 absolutely, well summarised

If u don’t know what job you want definitely don’t go to colllege and bury yourself in debt. Get a job in your local area and try to be as reliable and hardworking as you can. Always seek overtime/ live below your means/ and invest the rest into multiple things you believe will be worth more in the future .
Hell no, don’t always seek overtime. Life isn’t about work. You need a balance. 40 hours a week is the max anyone should be working unless you cannot make ends meet, then work overtime.
Good advice!

@@normalhether5806 Knowing English is a great advantage, the most powerful content is in that languaje. People who started college with me and finished recently are working with me now. They didnt develop any other skill and now they didnt even know how to talk with clients, bosses, recruiters or coworkers. You are very young, and if you are scared by not being the smartest developer in five years, try being a normal developer with leadership skills, it will have more value when you start working. the remaining years you got left... you're 27. Hell im 34 and dont think like that.
And the problem is that life is such due to man made problems and systems instead of anything outside of human control...

This has to be full of damaging lies
This is spot on! I learnt all of this by myself but I turned about 28 before I worked it all out! This is seriously life changing advice
Brilliant indeed. Wish I had received this kind of wisdom in my 20s.
A great video man !!! Will try to make schedule for my growth like you said

Most important for me is not to be too hard on yourself. You're very young and these things take a very long time to develop

Very inspiring video, but keep in mind that self growth will not always be linear, which means that compound interest case wouldn't simply applied to every real life scenario.

Hey, Justin. I'm glad you're back.
Can you change the font style on your website? It's uncomfortable to read the essays as they are. The Mundo Sans font you've previously used for your videos is extremely good. It's just a suggestion, but I hope you will consider it.
This advice and video is underrated, you have the tips on point
Kids never play “Gambling-Gacha” games. It will suck your soul, money, live in your head rent-free and you will end up wasting your precious time.
Dang, I play four gacha games...
22 today and I feel like I'm trapped in the vicious circle of my anxiety disorder.. I can't find my path man,but I ain't given up..Im going to beat this sheet
Already lost interest at the false dichotomy between choosing to invest wisely or chase pleasure. You can do both as a person.
Exactly
It's called opportunity cost
Hard work always pays off in the long-term. It's kinda common sense yk. Don't celebrate too soon and waste your potential. That's my wisdom for you.. from a 22 y/o
@@ElliotGuy-tp4si The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, he said:
“Man.
Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money.
Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health.
And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present;
the result being that he does not live in the present or the future;
he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.”
@@ElliotGuy-tp4si nobody said that hard work doesn’t pay off, but actually smart work pays off more than hard work dummy lol
I’m turning 23 shortly, I understand that there are people who are way older watching this and I’m young in comparison but this is a wake up call for me. It’s time to take action and do the right things, best of luck to everyone out there!
same here I'll be turning 23 by the end of the year. i only wish i could turn back the time when i was 18-21 wherein the pandemic stole my first foundational years of adulthood. now i feel so lost and behind and it doesn't even help that i'm in my last year in college. i don't really fcking know what I want to do after grad as i didnt expose myself that much in my uni because of pandemic and introvertedness. that's why i'm currently working on myself rn too.
The Daily Schedule is all fun until you have to work for 8-10 hours a day
I think even then you can replace your video games or tik tok, Instagram or whatever you chose
8-10 hours of work it’s not bad. You can still hit the gym, watch something, talk to friends, have some fun, read…
@@andredossin4644 sure. Still there are chores, commute, time you want to spend on nonproductive things.. its really hard to organize it imo
@@andredossin4644 for 30 mean each? Yeah, cool progress
Thank you for putting so much effort into making this video for young people like me it helped me to learn new things.
summary: good habits are better than bad habits
if it was guaranteed to get to your 30's and beyond in a condition of complete health, i'd be really keen in investing my energies on an "old school far-sighted thing".
I’m 23 already in the best shape
I’m learning programming
I'm 25 years, 3 months old. I will try to be better.
in Islam our Prophet Muhammad PBUH said : “Take advantage of five before five: your youth before your old age, your health before your sickness, your wealth before your poverty, your free time before your busyness, and your life before your death.”
Alhamdulillah, thank u for the reminder
He also married a six year old. Why look up to him?
@@boopdoop2251🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@boopdoop2251 Most of your family and ancestors did the same you silly goose🪿
@@boopdoop2251do you have proper knowledge about why he married a six year old? Ig no, guess your parents did not taught you to not speak in places where you have no knowledge. He married her because in islam if a person reaches puberty, they become eligible for marriage. And this used to happen not only in islam but in Christianity too.
22 years old today 😢😔🙂
1. Compound interest:
Good habits and bad habits compound little by little. With time there will be a significant change either up or down.
2. Purchasing Power:
Energy gradually decreases as we get older. More responsibilities are required to be fulfilled. Energy declines as time flows so we must do as much right as we can in our youths.
3. The 5 Big Assets
Expertise and professionalism.
Deep social connection (measured by voluntarily showing up to support and celebrate with you).
Intelligence (turn bad experiences into productive insights)
Physical vitality.
Spiritual conscience (inner compass)
4. Daily Schedule (20minutes, must be sustainable, so start from 2 minutes)
Make it covers the 5 capitals:
Physical
Expertise
Intellect
Spiritual
Social
The best advice is minimalism
Forget money, cars, houses
Do this in order
1) know who u are
2) know what u want
3) know what the world is
4) know what u can achieve in this world
5) get goals, only the most important goals to u
6) get a plan, plan A-Z
7) go with your plans, adapt and reevaluate along the way
what a great video thanks for uploading this
29 years old turning 30 soon.... Assuming I made the clickbait mistake. 😂😂😂😂😂
I'm 28 turning 29. I'm with you on that 😅
I love this kind of videos, one "how to survive arter 18 years old" saved me when i was about to turn 16, now i found this when im about to turn 18
Stop letting people affect you
1. Early good habits
2. The younger you are, the more wnegy you have
3. 5 assets: Production Capital, Spiritual Capital, Social Capital, Physical Capital
It’s not a mistake to live a normal life unless that’s not what you want
I am in my 20s and i have 7 years to turn 30 , i am happy this video pop up😃😃
Almost 30. Can confirm this is completely based
When you're lonely, things are different.
Turning 24 soon and I’m soo terrified about my life 😢
🙁hello fellow 2000s baby. Same...
Your energy starts decreasing at 30 if you stay fit and healthy it will start after 35
im 33,but im not giving up
Thanks I'll take it as a sign in turning 20 in 4 days
Dudes like 20 telling you how to live in your 30s
Don't give up on the pain.
We forgot the way
Not too long ago, We were fathers, mothers and even principles in our 20s. back then, we struggled to survivr and feed the family because we were adults. Nowadays, people are not that worry about their kids in their 20s because they still live like kids themselves, they don't do the life resposibility because it's not fun but tough!
Hard times make strong people, strong people make Good times, Good times make weak people, weak people make hard times...
