    Hi Ron, whenever we try to use our K cup coffee machine with just our battery switch on, there doesn't seem to be enough juice to power it up. Only when we turn on the gas generator. Any ideas on alternatives or what we are doing wrong?

      I use the boost switch when voltage is low. I have a built in timer chip that gives me 2 minutes of boost but you can try holding the switch on to see if it works for you.

      Well, you are not alone in changing your mind. We wanted a V model for the twin beds. All set to buy a used one, when the deal fell thru. After another walk around in a V on the dealer lot, we changed our mind and went for the J model. No regrets, liked the twin beds, but had to give up so much more that we really wanted like the openness and lower microwave height.

      Where would the kids sleep? Many like the loft if they can climb the ladder ok. The dinette works well also as they can hop in and out easier. We got the J because the microwave was lower and my wife uses it a lot. Take your time deciding.

    Super helpful! We love watching your videos. We just bought a 2014 view J model and watching what you have done is going to really help us out. What are your guys' thoughts on the size of the bed? We were hoping for a queen but the j model just seems to fit a lot of other needs so we sacrificed the space in the bed.

    Hello Ron. Question, where did you get the shower head and handle which controls the water, from two way to just one handle? Casey and I have a 2016 View and we really like your mods! We just don't know how you changed the shower control. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    • @ontheroadwithron2432

      Faucet from amazon: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HYIKEKW/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
      Pretty easy to change. Just remove the small plastic plate from the shower wall. There are 4 screws under the small plastic buttons. It is sealed around the perimeter with a clear sealant. The faucet water lines unscrew behind it. Just don't drop the water lines down the wall until you get them reattached to the new faucet. Be sure to reseal the plate with some matching tub and tile sealant.

      @@bigjeep2195 ok. One of the first mods I made as it drove me crazy. I found the relay that controls this behind the One Place panel. Forget which side but probably behind the slide switch. Remove relay and jumpered the block to bypass the relay. I forget the details as I did it once long before I started making videos. I believe both engines running and emergency brakes were interrupts in the ground side. If this makes sense. Check the electrical diagrams to be sure.

    Ron, enjoy your videos and ideas. Bought a second hand 2015 V model. Only issue so far is that two speed sensors failed on the rear wheels. Fortunately MB replaced under warranty. Per my service advisor, it seems the Sprinter based RVs are prone to failures of those sensors.
    Have you considered the waterless traps for the sinks? I am getting ready to install the Lippert 360 Siphon RV vent caps (part #389381) on my roof vent stacks. Will let you know how they work.
    Thanks from a grandfather of six!

      INTUITIVE & INSPIRED ART the Mercedes chassis is doing fine. No problems with it other than tire alignment. Yes, they have a lot of sensors and such but I’ve never had a problem. All my issues were in the first year. Mostly Winnebago related. Running great now.

    Ron, could you give a little more detail on how you set up the TV to work on 12-volt only? I hate having to always use the inverter to watch TV or videos on my 2016 NM!

    • @ontheroadwithron2432
      @ontheroadwithron2432  6 лет назад +3

      Sure, just cut off the transformer that is plugged into the AC outlet behind the TV. Spliced some wire onto the 2 leads and tapped into a 12V line. Crimped some lugs onto the wires and connected to the back of the Antenna booster located near the AC outlet as it has a 12 volt power to it. Also added a switch, but this is optional.

    Have you seen the Garnet SeeLevel gauge and sensors? They give you much more accurate readings of your liquid levels. One of the gauges has a bluetooth option so that you can see the levels on your phone.

    • @ontheroadwithron2432
