I followed this and earned my first PSA 10. I actually got 8/11 PSA 10s. I'm off to a great start thanks to Matt and this video. This is the best thing that has ever happened to me in card collecting. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!
@@GRADEDCARDINVESTOR looking to tap into your submission wisdom. 2019 luminance football had a draftday signature varition with green ink. The blue ink cards are /5. The green ink cards were listed as SSP so i was thinking it was less then that maybe /3 so my plan was to try to collect them all for Daniel Jones since hes my PC...unfortunately it steamrolled. I now have 8 green ink cards. So im thinking this variation is /8 or possibly /10. my question is it better for me to send them all into psa at the same time or separate. I know luminance doesn't usually grade well...i was thinking if i send them all in at the same time i may see a gem mint if they can compare them between each other. Your thoughts are appreciated
Just wanted to come back a thank you again for making this video. I sent in my first card for grading a couple months ago and it came back a gem mint 10
WOW! That's so awesome - Congratulations. Thanks for coming back and letting me know, I'm glad I helped you out. Are you addicted to sending in more now? lol that's what happened to me!
PSA COLLECTOR oh most definitely lol. I already have a small stack of cards set aside that I want to get graded. Going to do a bulk order next. I’ll probably send in 25 cards and see how it goes.
Mr house 38 I recommend doing around 10 in a bulk at a time. The more you send the more sloppy the grader might get with grading just to get the bigger quantity done
Thanks a lot for the insight man. I used to collect a lot of baseball and football as a kid and I’m jumping back into the hobby. I never got cards graded before and most of the PSA website was pretty easy to understand, but you provided a lot of insight on some of the details I would have been lost on. Awesome! Thanks for the feedback sir! PSA needs to open a location over there for sure, as well as many other countries. The popularity is growing rapidly.
Thanks G. I have thousands of my cards from the 80's and 90's ima send off. I also found a ton of my old Desert storm cards. All went straight out of the packs into storage because I was a nerd. Appreciate the vid while I work.
Thank you for the valuable Intel brother. I’ve been meaning to send my cards off to get graded for a long time now. I was always anticipating them coming out to California in the bay area but they never show up around here. I went ahead and bought a bulk membership and sent out 15 cards with a 90 to 120 day turn aroumd at $18 a card with shipping and taxes and ground service 7 days back to me was just under $350
Is it possible to walk in to any of these grading services to skip postage/insurance etc and maybe get a better deal? I’ve never used one so would be interested in having my whole collection done and flying to the US from the U.K. to have it done.
Thank you so much. I've been wondering for so long on how to do this. It's almost too late for me though. I sold all my vintage hockey cards to make room for others. BUMMER! Great tutorial. OMG , this video has just convinced me not to send anything in ! It is so convoluted that even you are having difficulty with the wording and all the different exceptions . I just found my cards and I don't know what they are worth .
B mac Yep, you have to print the online submission form and send that in with your cards. This lets PSA know what your submission number is when they receive it. They also have the info logged into their system to match it with.
So, basically Ebay is usually the go to service for estimated values of any cards. Search through ebay for your card and see the estimated value it is worth at a PSA graded level by PSA 10. Then say a PSA 10 card of your choice is worth around maximum $300 then you'd use the regular option which allows you to submit a card that will come out and only sell for $499 or less.

Thank you, I'm shipping 5 cards within the next day or so, this was really informative. My main concern is whether i should ship them individually(more expensive), or if i can save money by shipping them together. I noticed someone else commented about packing the smaller boxes in the larger one as a way to save. Do you recommend this? Would i be better off just shipping separate and paying more? You do not need to use penny sleeves. It’s optional. I use them because I’m afraid I’ll knick a corner or damage the card somehow. I feel the penny sleeve helps reduce damage when doing big orders but it is totally optional

I had a question about shipping. I have my most valuable cards sleeved and inside top loaders (so not quite the same plastic sleeves you used in the video). One of my biggest worries is how careful PSA will be when removing the cards from their protective casing in order to grade them. Do I need to adjust how I have them cased? Sleeving them then top loading them has always been my preference to avoid as much damage as possible to the card prior to grading.
Hey PSA Collector, Im curious if the cost of getting a card graded has gone up because of Covid? I see regular for you is $20 but for me as of right now, it is $50.. Is that because I don't have any membership or is it because of Covid? I would love a response back because im very curious about this situation. Thank you and great video, excited to send my cards in to get graded
Im about to submit my first cards, and I noticed after messing around with the site that its based on the "insurance" level. If you picked the maximum insurance of $999, then all submissions will be $50. If you want the $20 option, then you need to select a max insurance of $499.
@@awesomecse3444 Yes you can, it would be a max of $499 per card. However they currently arent accepting that level because they cant keep up with the amount of people sending cards in.
Brother...just asking if you ever send your cards and take the insurance option included with the ship out. $5000 max insurance runs about $71 from USPS. Was shipping out about $7000 of declared value of lebron and MJ cards. Not sure what to do. Please advise. Thank you in advance .
I have a Luka rookie prizm I want graded, they’re going for like 4-5k on eBay. So I would need to choose the super express and the turn around time is 2 days?
I’m ready to send in 200 basketball cards from my 87-88, 88-89, 89-90 fleer along with 75 Different Jordan’s from pre 92-93. So I can’t use the bulk? I wanna know the best way and the cheapest. I’m not gonna send in 200 cards at 20 a card. That’s nuts. Any suggestions?
This was very helpful, thank you! I have a pretty nice collection of cards and thinking of sending them to get graded always scared me.. But I have a 1969/70 Topps Wilt Chamberlain amongst a bunch of other “Tall Boys” in really good condition for their age and I think I’m going to give it a shot🙏🏽🤜🏽🤛
Because u wont be charges untill their services is done. With paypa they are not gaurenteed a payment from you. Kind of like how Hotels take ur card down and dont charge untill you check iut
So say if I have a 1st edition charizard that sells roughly 20k after it's been given a grade. I am not allowed to send it through bulk submissions? What do I send the card under? What would I be charged for a card that has a market value of something like that? If they won't allow it to be sent under $8 per card 100 bulk submission?
You can send it through bulk submissions. If PSA determines that you need to pay more for the card then they will contact you and tell you. I would go ahead and submit it! Good luck!
Is there anyway I can become a member and use my membership at the convention in New Jersey this July and get my cards back when I leave? Im really not trying to send any of my cards anywhere.
Eh, you'll have to check with PSA at the show on that one. I have never submitted in person so I wouldn't know. I always thought they gave them back same day at shows but I could be wrong.
@@GRADEDCARDINVESTOR thanks for information. I have a "few" special cards like Brett Favre in game Falcon rookie card, both Bo Jacksona' rookie cards, pretty much anyone from 86 thru 95 and a few after this time period. I will let you know
I know I'm just watching your video 2 years later but I have a question. I have the 2013-14 SPx Rookie Nathan Mackinnon AUTO JERSEY 2 colour Avalanche hockey card so its signed but do i have to grade the signature? Thank you
steven wood I thought that too, for a long time. Also I was just to lazy to do all that stuff. But it can be worth the money, especially if you get 9s or 10s. So a raw $50 card can be worth ten times more as a PSA 10 (just an example, of course it depends on the card)
Hello, what do you put the thick cards in like an obsidian or an optic contender? Do I have to put that in a card saver or can I leave in the top loader?? Please help
Hey boss great information here! One question for you, if your card does not auto-populate on the search bard does that mean it cannot be graded? Still a new to collector world and want to get our first submission going soon! Thanks in advance and for all the great info on your channel!!
Question...What if you can't find your card in the description (under Item entry)? So, what ever is in the description.. is that what they put on the slab. Or is that just a reference and they still do their due diligence and review what type of card exactly is?
I have a really thick jersey auto patch card. Does PSA still slab them? And do I need to submit it as a separate different order or can I submit along with standard size cards on the same order?
I have 8msets of 1988 fleer basketball and 5 1987 fleer basketball. I haven’t touched them in over 10 years. All in sleeves. I have no idea what grade or value they are worth. So I can’t use the 50 card submission at $10 each? What if they all come back at 7-8 grade? Or if they all come back at 9-10? I have no clue. Kinda confusing.. nice video but Psa makes thing complicated. I just wanna send my cards, pay my fee and see what grade I get.
Stupid Question.....Does anyone know how to record a video with the small selfie video recording at the same time like in this Video? Is it an App? or a Setting in a Newer phone? I'd appreciate the Help!! Thanks.
I'm hoping that I can use your knowledge to further myself in this hobby. Collected since a kid. But I'm now getting more serious. My wife said that this is useless and there is no value. So I'm guessing cards to be able to raise value. I'm hoping to do an auction. Pricing my wife would be a win for not only myself but many other collectors facing this same battle. Thank you m
I have a 1984 tops 40th anniversary set that I got when i was a kid. I opened and organized it as a kid but haven't touched it since. Is it worth it to get the valuable cards PSA rated or just sell individually, or just sell the set?

PSA COLLECTOR I use the penny sleeves and then a top loader. Will PSA accept top loaders or does is the card saver 1 required?
Hey i just wanted to let you know your address is in the video when you were showing the drew breeze card. FYI incase you want to blur it out
🙏
TimeRocker what if I put 14x qty same name yugioh card, can I max $499 for it? $20 per card, $280 total.
@@TimeRocker I don't see the max insurance?
3 months ago it was $50, today 3 months later it’s $50 for me too. WTF PSA!
Hey, bro! Just a heads-up, your address can be seen in this video!! Love your stuff and keep up the great work!!
Hi, I have a question @10:06, For PSA Copy #1 Do I have to sign the front like you did too? or just the back
Thank you.
I have a Luka rookie prizm I want graded, they’re going for like 4-5k on eBay. So I would need to choose the super express and the turn around time is 2 days?
What does the turn around time mean? Is that how long it takes to get back to you
Thanks for all the videos, I just got my first 12 cards packed and ready to ship off to PSA.
Matt, quick question. When you are submitting multiples of the same card, do you do a separate submission sheet for each one?
I’m ready to send in 200 basketball cards from my 87-88, 88-89, 89-90 fleer along with 75 Different Jordan’s from pre 92-93. So I can’t use the bulk? I wanna know the best way and the cheapest. I’m not gonna send in 200 cards at 20 a card. That’s nuts. Any suggestions?
Thanks, that was helpful. PSA is intimidating. This helped a lot!
Thanks for the feedback! Glad I could help!
Your a super chill guy, but I just had a coffee & listening to you talk in slow-motion is giving me anxiety haha
Lol I have a new video up on how to submit. This video is old skool
Thanks for this video! I started collecting a month ago and now I know how to submit!
This is a great video, feeling confident with my first submission now! 💪🏽🙏🏽
Great to hear I could help! Good luck with the grades!
Please make more vids.....you have y made one in a long time......love your vids
Why do they only accept credit cards, why don’t they accept PayPal?
I was also wondering this
Because u wont be charges untill their services is done.
Good luck!
Outstanding job sir! Very well done & easy to follow along. Thanks for doing this video.
Jason Fielder Thanks for the feedback Jason, I’m glad I was able to help!
I will let you know
Cool 😎 hopefully i’ll be sending in my chipper jones rookie card from 1991
Please show how you sleeve the card properly. I'm using penny sleeves and card saver II
DO not use Card Saver II for standard size cards. Use the Card Saver I's. They are much bigger and wont damage the cards.
Goodlooking out. Appreciate ur time n effort
Thank you for the feedback!
I noticed you didn't fill out anything on the form at 11:40. Is that because you were just demonstrating, or is it unnecessary?
I want to get my mahomes rookie card graded. I hope its a 10
Nice! Good luck on the grade 👍
@@GRADEDCARDINVESTOR i got it back and it was a 10!! Time to sell it on ebay for $1,100
@@johnwesleyhuss2327 Nice! Congrats!
I know I'm just watching your video 2 years later but I have a question. I have the 2013-14 SPx Rookie Nathan Mackinnon AUTO JERSEY 2 colour Avalanche hockey card so its signed but do i have to grade the signature? Thank you
I'm still waiting on the day that psa moves to europe, would make it way easier and cheaper to submit cards
The penny savers that I bought are a fraction too short at the top.the width is ok. If I put this into a card saver and team bag is this acceptable?
Damn good job, sir.
Thank you, sir! 🙏🏻
We are getting ready to submit our first cards and this was helpful!
Dam!!! that looks like a lot of work.
Is it good to get any card graded, or should I only do like rookie cards or cards that I think is worth some real money?
Way over priced just to grade cards xD I will keep my cards ungraded for free
steven wood I thought that too, for a long time. Also I was just to lazy to do all that stuff. But it can be worth the money, especially if you get 9s or 10s. So a raw $50 card can be worth ten times more as a PSA 10 (just an example, of course it depends on the card)
Why does it cost more to grade more expensive cards? Shouldn't it be the same price and service for every card?
Did they change the paperwork to only two pages now?
PSA says "DO NOT put labels/stickers on card savers". Also, there is a new step to tape a label the outside of the shipping box. UPDATE video?
Hello, what do you put the thick cards in like an obsidian or an optic contender? Do I have to put that in a card saver or can I leave in the top loader?? Please help
This helps out a lot. I always wondered about the declared value as to whether it was from Beckett or graded. Thanks for clearing that up.
Glad it was helpful!
Seems declared value changes the price of grading, who declares the value or do you pay on declared value after it is graded?
Do you have to use the thin top loader that you put your card in? Also, did you put the card in a penny sleeve and then in the top loader?
Why on the service level part does it say 100.00 for me and 20.00 for you?
Same with me
I saw one Jason Kidd Topps Finest that has chipping at the back of the card but was graded PSA10
should i put a piece of tape to hold card in the hard protector???
How about the weight thing? How do you know weight of package for you have to weigh it and put the weight of package when your submitting?
jus wondering what the post office insures ...like if I send a 1000 dollars card do I have to pay extra to insure at postoffice
Great video. Will be my first time submitting to PSA.
I live 10mins. from Newport Beach, couldn't I just deliver the Cards personally to save a little on the astronomical fees they charge?
Yes, PSA does allow you to do walk-in submissions and save on shipping 👍👍 I wish I lived that close!
No kidding I wouldn’t thought they would allow that. I’m in Long Beach I will be there once a month haha 👍🏼
If I don't have access to a printer can I copy the form by hand and still send in the cards
How does it work with error cars? I have the 90 fleer Joe Montana error
Thank you for a very informative video. I had no idea how easy it is to submit to PSA. -
Stupid Question.....Does anyone know how to record a video with the small selfie video recording at the same time like in this Video? Is it an App? or a Setting in a Newer phone? I'd appreciate the Help!! Thanks.
Me and my son are going to grade some pokemon cards and honestly we just want to get some cool PSA cases for them. Thanks for the info!
Thank you, just getting into trading cards and I'm looking to get some graded so this helps thank you
I'm hoping that I can use your knowledge to further myself in this hobby. Collected since a kid. But I'm now getting more serious. My wife said that this is useless and there is no value. So I'm guessing cards to be able to raise value. I'm hoping to do an auction. Pricing my wife would be a win for not only myself but many other collectors facing this same battle. Thank you m
Thanks for all the information you always give!
We appreciate it!
Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoy the channel 🙏🏻
So I’ve got a 1999 base set charizard that I need to get graded. How do I know what service level to select?
hey big question declared value total? what does that mean? is like how much money the card is or something else
I have a 1984 tops 40th anniversary set that I got when i was a kid. I opened and organized it as a kid but haven't touched it since. Is it worth it to get the valuable cards PSA rated or just sell individually, or just sell the set?
Thanks brotha! I have a question. They have to be submitted in those sleeves you put that card in right? I heard you can't use card toploaders.
You can use top loaders just as long as the cards aren't taped. Use a plastic team bag to secure the card inside the top loader.
Thank you so much!! This was a huge help..much appreciated..the first submission can be a little intimidating.
Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad this video helped you out 👍
What if you send a card in and it turns out to be a fake. Do you still pay?
Thanks for the video do we have to put every card into cardboard? What if we have like 20 cards can we put like 2-3 under one cardboard thanks again!
Hi there , thank you for your informations, is it still the same at this time or anything has changed ?
Please lmk , I appreciate you ❤️
I have a couple of rookie LeBron cards and some Kobe Cards I'd like to get graded soon. Your video was very informative and hope to have some success here with PSA.
