So, if you get stuck in sand, let some of the air out of your tires to increase contact surface area. I have had to do it several times. This only works if you haven't completely buried it.
Its not sand, under a sliver of salt is the most slippery clay mud you've ever felt. Moment you are stuck, you are stuck!!
