I had an issue under a bridge once and up it went and now my drone is sunk.

Thanks and I know. I had an issue with syncing up the FPS in my editing software. My more recent videos have come out much better.

@@cezargheorghiu2606 yeah it took me a long time to figure out why the original footage looked so much better than what I was rendering. Kicked myself once I figured it out.

@@Jamd I guess you had to export it in 30 FPS

@@cezargheorghiu2606 the DJI footage is4k 60. I needed to set everything up that way and then export it at 30. I was setting thing up at 30 and exporting at 30. Made it choppy

That is one way to look at it.

I fly from inside the car all the time. It is great when it is too hot or too cold outside. I was just sitting on the back of the Jeep with the back open during this video.

@@Jamd so it must be open doors or windows then? Or it’ll work with you actual in the vehicle without windows open!? & does it effect range or anything? Cheers

@@h-dawg969 windows up and AC blowing. No noticeable difference in range. I do try to position myself so I am flying in front of the windows but I have also flown all around the car. @@Jamd make! That’s so sick if that’s right and works for me. I have many a nice spot locally that I’ll park up, walk quite a way. Put in a ground stake to attach to the dogs harness, then set up and fly! If I can just get a nice little rip about the bay with the dog n I sat on the front seat with the heating on and tunes/podcast rolling, that’ll be so so sick! Can’t wait to give it a go. Cheers! ;)

@@Jamd yeah that link to moantain sesh was perfect little cruise. & you using the stock antenna etc? They look so but I see some other using various different ones at time. Deffo go a dinner from me anyway…. & this isn’t my channel, this is just where I watch stuff so Sun to ‘Harold of Kernow’ on RUclips and Instagram and we can hopefully see each other fpv journey progress going forward. I’ve not uploaded any fpv yet, sp it’s all just cinematic stuff, but now I’m ready and willing, it’ll be coming real soon I hope. Thanks

The moonlight V2s are 5146. I think the lemon lines are 5037. Moonlights have a steeper angle. I like flying with them. Batteries last a long time.

Yeah they say some parts of the salt is 10 ft deep. They found a spot where it was not. Unlucky.

Why can’t they make it turn back on? I am sure it is easy programming. I say that but I am no software engineer.

The settings on my DJI FPV wouldn’t let me. It stops me at 500 meters (1644ft) above the home point. I have since “hacked” it I think, but I don’t have anywhere to test it in TX. I need to go on a road trip to a mountain so I don’t get in trouble seeing if I can go straight up 1645 ft +. Where are you from and what do you fly?

@@Jamd oh I gotcha. Yeah I hated that “feature” when I was flying the potato lol I’m in colorado so I pretty much exclusively mountain surf and I got into diy because of that sorta stuff on the dji fpv. The build I’m currently flying is a titan true x frame with a tmotor f7 fc 60amp esc with a vista and crossfire running 6s with 1800kv motors. Thing dives cliffs like a champ!

@@kosmonautfpv4920 sounds ideal. I have a Diatone Roma frame I have build out that I need just a little more confidence in the GPS fail safe and I will start surfing with it. The DJI FPV RTH feature is why I keep flying the potato.

@@Jamd honestly every time I send my shit of a cliff side I say goodbye haha I have gps on all my quads but I have 2 sitting on a mountainside somewhere that never came back. Beta flight gps is good for speed and orientation but it had never once saved me. But that’s the risk you take I guess

You are missing out! So much more control and the ability to fly closer to objects at higher speeds makes it 1000 times more exciting. You can still capture those epic photos only a drone can get you too. My goal is to get more people to fly FPV.
