We all wanted wider small tracks they gave us narrower medium
🙃
Yeah...it's like the Devs said: "you don't know what you want, I know what you want!" 🤦🏻♂️
I literally spent 30min looking at all tracks trying to figure out which one is new...
That sums up the stormworks devs pretty well.
Please, make a video about cruise missile microcontroller (with composite data). There's no guides on it at all! It would be great if you could explain how does it work
They can add mini tracks but not 3 long wedge.
xml my friend, xml.
3 sizes were fine. Just add a slider to have it 2 or 3 wide.
This was all we wanted.
also we wanted instead of per wheel selection to have the option to just select the tracks as a whole or individual.
They give the tank track eveyone wants but still no train wheel update with single and tripple axle? Like come on trains need a update so badly, along with more track like the nso mod has added
Can you please do a video on the steam pistons
Why did you not make a video about the steam Pistons?
same
Pistons are pretty poorly implemented, maybe he is waiting until they get fixed.
They kinda suck right now. It takes a lot of fidling around with them to make them work well. He may either be trying to figure out how to make a decent tutorial or waiting to see if they get updated to work better.
@@Bendigo1 he was on holiday when the pistons and whistle released, if i remember correctly, which is why he didn't make a video about the steam pistons, or i'm just being dumb.
@@sandermur5613 i believe you are correct, but I'm guessing he us going to make a video on them.
Why can they not just put a slider in the track options that allow you to change the tracks width a bit like the tyre size slider?
That would be so much better
Most likely engine restrictions, since some physical properties have to scale + changes have to be made to how the tread positioning is handled.
There might even be problems with the tread that's spawned onto the track wheels. They might not be able to scale just slightly up and down a little and still stay aligned with the cogs and the building grid.
Would be nice to see tracks be better at taking an impact, haven't gotta have actual shocks on them but make them more impact resistant would be awesome
This is NOT what we asked for... This update is a bit useless... Anyway, you're completely right, we need 2-wide *small* tracks.
By the way, will you do a video on the steam piston update that released while you were on holiday?
Its actually a lot more useful than you'd think, because we could already place two small tracks next to each other and have it look/work basically the same, but the new medium track is the same weight, but offers better object crossing ability thanks to its increased diameter. Of course road-wheels lacking any suspension, there being no in game reason to want wider tracks as all surfaces are hard, and the fact they already did dynamic sizes for both propellers and wheels but not tracks all make it feel a long way short of what it could have been... but I certainly won't begrudge shedding a over a hundred mass units from my existing designs on the old midsize track (now "large") by swapping in the new smaller "medium".
@@SheepInACart its for aesthetics not just stats
You are going to have a lot of updates to look trough after the break ends, i miss u
Nice video 👍
I miss your tutorials so much, no other youtuber does it better, hope you'll catch 2.0
Cannot wait to do something with this, I always thought an inbetween track was necessary!
sarcasm?
Would love to see a video asking the question why we get so many "part" updates and no content updates. No missions. No gameplay. Nothing to "do" with the vehicles we make. Please use your voice to address this core issue with the game. Thank you.
Those only come with major updates im pretty sure
@@a10_squad_brrttt72 In theory, sure. However, most of the missions that existed pre-1.0 do not exist anymore. They were removed, and the variety of gameplay that now exists is considerably reduced from what was available in early access. There is little "purpose" to building most of the vehicles. There are minimal gameplay loops, and the ones that do exist are quite shallow. The focus for a long time has been on more parts, to the detriment of actual gameplay mechanics.
Yeah but they should rework physics first
@@JFJohnny5x Eh yeah i do kinda agree we did lose alot of missions, hopefully they will add a bunch of new missions in a update with maybe the new game engine
This update proves they completely ignore the community
Added small wheeler on track wheel
I dislike that the developers made mediums tinner instead of making thicker 3x3's and that because of this update the devs increased the power needed to power the now large tracks whihc broke alot of creations that used them the new medium tracks track texture also dosent sit firm like with other tracks
They should have made them stackable and the track itself wider
can u make a amphibious tank tutorial ?
How does the grip and power need compare?
So no video about the steam pistons?
If they gave radius option of sprocket and tank wheels
Can you make an Long range RC quadcopter with some Cams and an winch to lower an mag all and Rope Points with an Autopilot on the Control Station to keep the Drone small cant find Something Like this in the Workshop ?
I got be honest, geometro is 100% my favorite developer out there. I have more than gotten my moneys worth out of this game and they continue to improve it. Outstanding
Deltars get off your alt
@@11Tits lol 🤣
What I want to know is why does it take them so long to implement this? Surely all the tracks work fundamentally the same way, their models aren't significantly different in any way, why not just implement 1x1, 1x2, 1x3, then 2x1, 2x2, 2x3 and finally 3x1, 3x2, and 3x3 tracks all at once?
The track itself doesnt even have a hitbox, its just the wheels that do
noice
Hay my name is Michael how are you doing today and I was wondering how long does the audio update take
Michael superbacker “where is the air umbrella” bro there isn’t gonna be a sound update within the next decade 💀💀💀
What, i hope this doesn't break anything
I've been watching your video a year but i never play the game i wish i had a PC so a can play it
It’s harder than it seems, don’t give up tho, if anything you should be happy because by the time you get to play the game then it will be completely fixed and super cool 👍 good luck getting a Pc and if you have discord or something I’ll happily play the game with you.
Dear Mr Njersey.
I have been following ur tutorials exactly as you do, and it usually dosent work for me :( like with helecopters, I love themand want to build one. But it never works, tthe YAW and ROLL always goes crazy...
Try reducing engine power, too much lift causes instability
NJ tutorials are not the best
I Cant See My Clothes In This Update :)
This is yet another show of how incompetent the devs are, what we WANTED were 2 wide SMALL tank tracks.. that didnt happen.. did it
🇺🇦 come on.....there should be a wheel soze slider option instead...
Still no return rollers...
Spawn a 3x3 no suspension wheel, save that without a block. Go into its XML data, and set the wheel size to like, .1, should make a pretty decent sized return roller.
@@hacknwack4065 which isnt functional
Also you cant really xml stuff smaller
@@calli9144 It is infact functional, and its not xmling that. you need to go to wheel_size="1" in the xml data for the wheel, and change that to like 0.05, its where the data for the wheel size slider is stored. so you can get wheels bigger or smaller than the slider lets you
@@hacknwack4065 its still not functional, it doesnt interact with the tracks
Its not even new just a reskin
