Such a great entertainer. Makes me want to visit just to see him. His grasp on those different languages was awesome. Makes me wonder why he does what he does really, with that type of talent. Probably because he loves what he does. I think many of us could learn a lesson or two from him.
I watched this show with a different host and have found that their routine though basically the same is also entirely different, and both amazing. I shall seek yet another one. Thank you for posting your experience.
I can husk a coconut in about 15 seconds now.. I made fresh coconut milk too but I used a grater and a juicer. Fresh coconut milk is like melted ice cream sooooooo Good!
Is he the same guy as in the other video where he took the coconut and posed like a football player. Only because they did the same things, like saying milk in different languages and other words also. Just wondering or do they do the same show (almost) all over Samoa??? Thanks.
This is very interesting he can explain to tourist with a joke making it not boring, I think at the beginning he just memorized some vocabulary from other languages until I heard his japanese language which is very good
It's 222 em still watching I just discover this on Facebook and I want to watch more videos of Him untill I came here on RUclips. I hope they have their own channel or page🙈
Ok in Samoa women cooks too inside the house the men focused on the umu which is food cooked in hot rocks under the banana leaves outside.. He's just being sarcastic because women do cook as well lol women looks after the kids and do most of the chores, cooking is for men and women 50/50.. Lol I hope people don't think Samoan women don't do anything because these guys are just joking around.
As A Someone Who Comes From A Clan Of Chief's Watching Him Made Me Even More Prouder To Be Polynesian Mixed And Love My People Even More. Watching Him And Being Blessed It Was An Awesome We Experience I'd Definitely Recommend It.
I don't think he performs at PCC anymore. I think it's now called The Chie'fs Luau. That's what it was called when I saw this performance late in 2012.

BYU HAWAII has a very diverse and multi cultural group of students from around the world and the students make a living by working at that PCC.
I watched this show with a different host and have found that their routine though basically the same is also entirely different, and both amazing. I shall seek yet another one. Thank you for posting your experience.
This clip brings back the memory of my visit in late 90s and I still laugh. Chief Sielu Avea is a talented performer.
Masterpiece of public show, this man is brilliant :)
He does this show the best. No one will ever do it better
I love his personality wish we all had that level of chill
The comedy is an act but what he demonstrated and most of what he's wearing is real
holy he actually spoke japanese, man they're very linguistically talented.
He works at the polynosian center for tourists.
Of course, he will pick up a few words here and there.

Samoan are fantastic people . They have done a top research.
I consider myself a charming chap, but this man is the master. He had them (and me) eating from the palm of his hand.

While his mother in law was holding the coconut”

Cool. The Samoan show was my favorite of the whole PCC
Really enjoyed this. Brings back so much great memories.
He now owns his own show and luau in Hawaii called Chief's Luau - one of the more affordable ones. He is still very funny.

This must've been from the early 90's or something cos we're no longer called Western Samoa, just Samoa.
+Toy Mit Yeah it's an old video. The clothes and hair styles kind of gives it away
Speak for yourself, I still consider myself a "Western" Samoan with my spurs, cowboy hat and gun sling, Yeeeeeee Hah!
Toy Mit but very enjoy to this
well theres western and american samoa
Toy Mit yea this is one of the old pcc videos. Love this guy he was the best
Ok in Samoa women cooks too inside the house the men focused on the umu which is food cooked in hot rocks under the banana leaves outside.. I wouldn't take anything he says seriously. It is an act. It's supposed to be full of funny things and he is a good entertainer.
he's really entertaining. i like him.
This man has some special bond with the Japanese 😂❤❤❤
Better yet if you get to Oahu, stop by the PCC and see the show. Your ticket supports everyone who demonstrates there
You're right, probably late 90's or very early 2000.
He is so hilarious!
your so funny and cool too.
I love the way he entertain. Very funny
I love the Culture. It’s pure.

I don't think he performs at PCC anymore. I think it's now called The Chie'fs Luau. That's what it was called when I saw this performance late in 2012.
Fata fiaui is the original comedian of the samoan villiage pcc in the 80s everybody else mimicked him.
He should be an ambassador for global peace..
Is he still there hahaha i want to go yo hawaii
Back when life was good🥥😌
Oh wait...hey, I saw this show xD he was hilarious
In the Philippines, we climb Coconut trees barefeet with no lines/vines.
