It is amazing to me that he still does this even to this day! I watched him at the PCC from 2001-2003 when I was little and my family lived on Oahu and I just saw a video of him still working but at the Chief’s Luau. He is so awesome and brings back memories of my Hawaii days🌺
That Sri Lankan lady was definitely thinking "Boy I have opened more coconuts than you've ever seen. My house is surrounded by 20 coconut trees and heck I have never cooked a meal that didn't involve coconut." How do I know? Well I'm Sri Lankan and you can't walk ten steps without seeing a coconut tree in Sri Lanka. We love coconut! Anyway loved the performance!
He's awesome. Great performer. That's why we still watchin this old vid. Life is full of routines, same thing for comedians or street performers. It's a good he keeps the energy on his act after so many repetitions. Great!
@@mssamoanmami3345 he didn't mean to insult anyone. Just like me, many others are here from Kap videos. I first watched kaps videos and enjoyed them. Then on his channel I found out his juniors are also doing the exact same standup. Now we found that it's been done since 1994. It's ok .but just a little strange
We just got back from Hawaii and visited the polynesian cultural center and saw this show. Great people and great fun was had by all. I highly recommend visiting the PCC in Oahu if you have the chance,
Ok so going east in the pacific, people choose ripe coconut. Here in southeast asia we drink and eat coconut while it's green. The yellow/brown ones we use for cooking. But folks, whenever you get coconut juice, get it. It's good!
I think that lady from Sri Lanka does not have common knowledge about coconut. I am from Sri Lanka and it's a very common thing to work with coconuts in Sri Lanka as we live on an island. We don't break it into 3 or 4 pieces. Always it's two pieces. our life are really close with these things
I'm from Sri Lanka and all of us can break a coconut to half without any issue. We use coconuts more than Samoans. I wonder where she really came from.

Awesome!
Haha. So Samoans are doing the same stand up for like 3 decades.
6:14 they didn't have the THE ROCK joke back then.

Good, thanks for share!

You so funny. >333:-) :-) :-)

In Sri Lanka my mom can cut it to two spieses
Sri Lanka 4 pcs of coconut?😂😂😂 She looks actually Sri Lankan Burgher. We break it always 2 halves!
It's 2022, but still this is how typical Sri Lankan's doing it!

Doesn’t look like it.🤷🏽♂️🤣🤙🏾
I thought this was the Pulu guy😂
It is a shame that a woman in Sri Lanka, a country rich in coconuts, cannot break a coconut into two pieces.
He has to get so sick of saying this over and over again. The first time I heard it I thought it was off the top but its all scripted.
Think of it as a teacher teaching the same curriculum every year. It's kinda the same
He has to memorize everything ...not really scripted just sayin
Its like stand-up. He probably tried a bunch of different material before he landed on these jokes.
Scripted as it is , his delivery is amazing
It's called a routine. Every stage performance is pretty much a routine
Shredded coconut to produce milk coconut can make curry chicken gravy
Wow sri lankan Lady was there
watching in december 2023
son i think it's time you learn the ropes
Who come he seems like he just copy paste all from making fire 😂😂
