I tear up, beautiful song, but reminds me of high school choir and all my peers singing this song for Mr. Stroope
Omg my choir did this my senior year and I am in shock that you are mixed.... That is so impressive with the amount of parts.
This is my second favorite performance of this amazing song. My first favorite being the time I got to be IN the choir and nothing beats being INSIDE the progression @ 2:30 - 2:45...like, downright supernatural
It quite literally feels like you’re saul. This piece is absolute magic. Nothing like it
I got to watch this live from our schools advanced choir and it was absolutely amazing. During the clapping parts the choir would stomp instead and it was loud and chaotic and violent just like what the song is about. The lights person would even flicker the lights a bit when that would happen. Every rendition of this piece is great but I don’t think it will ever match hearing it live with the stomping and lights.
this song brings me to tears. the emotion and beauty in it is just overwhelming
singing this piece in accapella makes it one of the most difficult choral pieces to sing
Absolutely magnificent. I did this song years ago for states chorus and it remains as one of the greatest pieces of music I ever had the privilege to perform.

Doing this in my middle school honor choir. Such a good song, a student in our class recommended it to our teacher and she said it was to hard at first but now we're doing it on point

Everyone has their favorite performance of this piece. If you like it, you really should listen to the original premier performance by the group that originally commissioned it from Stroope. It was first performed at the Mort D. Meyerson Symphony Hall in Dallas, TX on April 2, 2002 by the Lake Highlands Freshman Center Chorale. I just noticed there's was the Lead (Rasmus Krigströmand) & Bass (Didier Linderfrom) from the RINGMASTERS at the far right and far left of the choir ! No wonder this performance was brilliant !

Charles Ingram, nice performance indeed! I'd be very proud of the freshmen performing that difficult piece! We worked hard with it and competed with it among other more or less challenging pieces in the European Grand Prix for Choral singing. A competition we againt all odds won.
