I own the "Majestic Bidet " I adore it. What's not to love, cleaned with warm water, on a warm seat and it dries you as well. I was gifted it during my battle with colorectal cancer. It was a saving grace.
You guys are so fun! If I was able to go back in time (I’m a gramma now), I would raise my kids the way you do. What a beautiful family you are. You’re daily routines etc are fun to watch even though they may seem boring to you but not to us. It’s wonderful watching how a big family functions together each day. I love that Asher is getting into forging. My little bro got into it around the same age. Since then he has made two swords. He has gotten me into a lot of cool documentaries. A good one is the Ulfberht doc on Disney+. We also like Man at Arms. I’ve learned a lot from those. 👍
I've wondered this about your method of home schooling...while it is wonderful the kids have the opportunity to delve deeply into what interests them, what about the things they need to know that they may not enjoy? I never liked math and if I had the opportunity would never have looked at it. But one needs to know the basics of course. So how is that handled with your kids?
You need to get Asher into a entry level blacksmith course. My family and I are historical reen-actors and as interested as he seems to be in the trade I really thing he would benefit from a course .Back east there are several good schools on the trade.

Asher could be a ferrier and shoe horses when he gets older. They are in demand, it’s a specialist in horse shoes and they actually make special shoes for horses!! Well paid too!
We didn't get to see the conjunction! We had two telescopes set up but it was too cloudy up here! We did have an epic solstice gathering though of incredible humans. The night was purely magical!

We have a normal toilet with a toilet seat I bought that has a spray nozzle at the back of the toilet seat. We've had them in our home now for twelve years. First in the US and now here in the Netherlands. You can get the basic model. which is not too expensive. Needless to say, I love ours.
Japan has came a long way, in the 60’s & 70’s public restrooms where flat on the floor & had to squad down to use it & it stunk . But since then, as I was passing thru Japan in 1991 the airports where so modern & improved over the yrs. I was walking to the restroom waiting for the time to board the plane in Narita Airport heading to San Francisco & the floors were like cushion walking not in hard floors so nice & then I came to the restroom it was winter season not snowing yet & as I sat down on the commode the seat was warm didn’t expected that it was so nice ! then I notice there was like a handle on the right that had buttons with things to select & was curious to use it and it had water sprout popping out that you can wash up your personal parts and get cleaned up. It was awesome ! & I took my time in the public toilets that I would not usually do because I enjoyed the modern technics to use. Felt so refresh & enjoy traveling to Japan. Our Hotels on Guam had pubic restroom installed the commodes to those same luxury as Japan did. Now there included in new housings or can install in any homes if you wanted that wonderful innovation. ...
I assure you Japan still has many squat toilets to this day! Experienced it in the public restroom at the ShinOsaka train station in 2011! 😬 It was....interesting?!

LOL Just something about keeping things cleaned up on the floors and furniture makes a home more tolerable. LOL I have a couple little plug in ones for the cars / vehicles as the battery ones never seem strong enough. LOL So anyway.....no guilt. LOL Loved this video and love that the kids are allowed to explore who they are and what they like as they learn and get educated hands on, even through you travels that is the best way to learn is by doing. They are very blessed in having you as parents that not just speak about things but you DO those things.....it's awesome. Just a suggestion .... microchip your kitties ... it’s fairly simple and inexpensive. If your kitty gets lost or injured while exploring, and someone brings them to a vet (or shelter) the vet/shelter will always scan the kitty for a chip ... which has your contact info on it.

Oh, and umm NOT all Japanese toilets are created equally, I’ve been to many nice restaurants and they had SQUAT POTS! The restroom was immaculate and satin red with ornate finishes and it was a squat pot. My husband’s been tinkling and an elderly Japanese cleaning lady walked right in to clean the urinal next to him!

They definitely have addressed that before, probably in videos with unschooling in the title. If you're truly interested, try that. 💗

in Scotland we call vacuuming , hoovering , which is way wrong but it stuck
