Thanks for sharing. Great 21st century humidor ideas! I"m so biting your style and will be setting up the first Canadian version of it ! Keep up the good work !
Hey Jason. Yes I still sue this but now i use the 300H which has heating built in. They are the same unit basically. If you use my links they support my channel. Thanks for watching man. I have a lot of videos on these!
Hello i need a bit of help i have a wineador im new on this, the unit works ok temp drop to the desire temp, i have mine set to 65, is the highest that it goes, ok but my humidity is around 80% i have some 72% boveda but humidity dosent drop can someone give me some advice what to do, thanks
What is your experience with refilling the cartridges of the Cigar Oasis? I unfortunately have made the experience that after a couple of refills they barely hold any water anymore. Have been looking for mods where people replace the foam with beads and such.
This is a great idea, so I decided to give it a try! Just installed today. Question: the smell of the sticky tape on the back side was kind of strong, have you found that carry over to your cigars?
Brian Reed I would recommend cleaning it with some baking soda and water and scrubbing the walls. My unit was used so it didn’t have that smell. You can also just let it air out. I don’t think it matters too much. After a while it just smells like cigars.
James Patton I cleaned off the wineador walls, no issue there with smell, I just found the light strip itself to smell very “plasticy.” I’m airing out the strip to see if it helps. Probably overthinking it, but don’t want to risk cigars smelling like plastic. I really hope I can use it because this is a great idea and looks awesome.
Man u gotta do something with this cabinet drawers..... not look right at all. There is a website where you can order them different sizes, Spanish Cedar
Screen Share oh yeah that is part 4. I have talked with every company about it and right now it's too expensive at about 30-50 bucks a drawer. I am thinking of doing open faced drawers so you can see them with the lights
typically most of the adhesive will be removed, you may have to find some "goo-gone" spray to remove remaining adhesive. Good luck. Look forward to seeing your finished project.
oh yeah I should have been more specific. It works well. It really depends on a lot of factors though. If you live in Arizona for instance, it will lose humidity faster. It also depends on how many cigars you have in there. I fill my cigar oasis about every two weeks here.
The fact that you thought this was the smartest in the world shows how out of the loop you are with the industry and what is out there. Dont think you know nearly as much as you think you do bub.
Did you get any smell issues with the silicon tgat covers the lights
nope did you?
Sorry. I didn’t read the comments so this may have been answered but what do you do if the light strip is too long?
I just cut them at the spots for cutting.
Right on! Here in Phoenix too. I'm just getting around to doing a Coolidor set up too. Looking at a NewAir 400.
Shawn Robertson oh yeah! that is a bigger model right?
Honest Cigar Reviews It doesn't look that much bigger. Need to check out the cheaper versions though.
Any problem with moisture on the strip and can you use a portable power bank as the energy source to keep it fully enclosed inside of the humidor?
Just got a newair cc300 to pimp out like yours . Tried to click on the things that you brought to purchase and can’t is anyone else having trouble
did you use my links? Are they old links? I have a new CC300H so it now has heat.
Yes I did kept going to an error page but to late got it from the company but thanks keep up the great videos
Carlos Torres yes my links below are for amazon. It should work for you. I just checked

I added these lights to my coolidor..... glad I did! AWESOME lights ! Thanks for the video!

I started with 72 too, but it kept rising the humidity. Then I am using 5 bovedas of 65, boom! The humidity is at 69%/70!
My wife hates you! Your humidor is all she is hearing about! That and the sticks you smoke!
I love it, brother! Great job!
hahah I am so sorry! My wife hears the same stuff about other youtubers too! thanks for the support brother!
Can you extend those yeelight strips? Wanted to make sure the 6.5ft would cover my whole coolador.
Nick Ruggiero I don’t believe so
Do you have any issues with not having a proper seal after installing the led lights?
duran73 nope

Tobias Freudenberg oh good idea. I should pop it open and add beads
Tobias Freudenberg it doesn’t seem to be bad for refilling yet. I have refilled it three times
Honest Cigar Reviews be careful with that, the top of the cartridge is glued. Also I guess you'll need a mesh or something for the openings

Brian Reed how did the light strip work out? Thinking of getting if it didnt compromise the seal thus affecting temp and humidity.
What about for a smaller version cigar cooler
Professor Gnomes you can see my new video on the Cc 100
i meant a smaller lighting strip, i couldnt find any lol
Professor Gnomes oh I am not sure. You can probably buy s strip that is cuttable to size.

Hi-Grom-eter…Lol! Looks nice though, I like it. Good job man.
sorry. I keep saying the wrong thing. lol
Can you cut the light strip
559raydogg I don’t think you can on this one. It does fit perfectly through.
hi! great videos, how many cigars do you have?
currently about 120 but i am going to start rolling cigar again with Leaf Only!
How is the seal after adding the led strip? I was thinking of doing the the same with Hue strips since I use them on other things in the house.
KING SKILLZ the seal is perfect no issues at all
Did you trim your light strip?, or was the full length used.
Take a blow dryer to the NEWAIR logo to heat up the adhesive and remove the logo to give the front a cleaner look.
good idea
typically most of the adhesive will be removed, you may have to find some "goo-gone" spray to remove remaining adhesive. Good luck. Look forward to seeing your finished project.
You haven’t mentioned how well it works. You know...on keeping temp and humidity.
oh yeah I should have been more specific. It works well. It really depends on a lot of factors though. If you live in Arizona for instance, it will lose humidity faster. It also depends on how many cigars you have in there. I fill my cigar oasis about every two weeks here.
Nice buddy.
thanks man!
Nice setup. BTW its not a hyDrometer its called a hyGrometer!
A fellow dji flyer! Cool!
David Williams oh yes!!!

Well I couldn't find any wifi and bluetooth controlled private wineador that was commercially produced for a consumer. THIS ROCKS!
