I recently did three nights in dam with no hotel, I stayed awake for 80 hours, the first night I stayed in shipol airport and the other 2 nights were spent walking the streets. Luckily the weather was good so During the day I chilled in vondelpark and I used Burger King as a place to charge my phone etc, was a crazy experience tbh 😅

I had the best time when I traveled to Amsterdam alone I made friends ate the space cake 🥴 and really didn’t spend to much money. Your vlog made me miss it.

Exactly the best tip is supermarket and there’s quite a few spread throughout the city, i defo had budget dam trips but also balled out a few times feels nice
Yep...just got back from Rotterdam. The salads from the supermarket costs €2 or so and tasty delicious! We always shop on our holidays. Cheaper and healthier!
@@willysmedia918albert heijn is an actual life hack for budgeting, went for 5 nights with a friend with a middle tier budget and ate out twice, went there for everything else

I couldnt sleep in a room with random people, imagine the noises and the smell in this room. Nothing for me, but hope you enjoyed it. If you move outside of the city center you may find a one room for like 50-75€. Last month, I had a room with a friend for 70€ a night ( so 35€ per person) but it was a little bit musty inside, so next time I will take the hotel for 50€ per person again and take the tram to the city ^^
Utrecht can be a little cheaper .

Not a chance that wouldn't even get you one decent night's accommodation and food here.its cheaper to go anywhere in Europe than Ireland.
That would get you two rickshaw rides, a night in a tent and a chicken fillet roll.

How did you get from Schiphol Airport to Amsterdam? The taxi costs a minimum of €30 for that journey. Conveniently missed that part out haha!

Food in the dam is absolutely the worst. You can find some good places in noord and zuidoost (Amsterdamse poort) but that’s going way out of your way imho
