The e36 is an amazing platform for drifting. They are a bit played out and it seems everyone in Ireland got one but theres a reason so many people drift them, they are great.
Yeah I love them, always been my favourite generation of bmw, it’s a shame this one is absolutely battered, I’ll have to either reshell it all this year or try make this look good
Cheap fun is the best 100% Neil, once you get a car with power and the drifting costs you 10+ new tyres each drift day you'll always appreciate the cheap fun seat time cars like your BMW

Same with me I’ve had a Clio track car about 5 years I paid £1500 for with a cage striped out etc. have no love for it at all. It’s battered bruised and looks a state but it’s by far the most fun I’ve had doing track days from any car I’ve owned. Kind of went off drifting in my ae86 as we don’t have full circuit layouts in the uk so you end up queuing just to do a 20mph skid in essentially an empty car park
Yeah there’s magic to the cheaper stuff if you get something that’s not fully shit, brings the joy back
I like the e36 as shitty as it is i appreciate a bit of time going into it to keep her going looks like ye had a blast
