juicebox shooting cool cars always makes my lunchbreak better
Lunch?
@@smashyrashy im on the other side of the Atlantic in the US lol we're a few hours behind
Same here!! It’s awesome
@ShaiyanHossain i almost wish i was living there too lol id love to watch these during lunch
That was just an awesome video. The history and heritage of what is in that family. The skill the father has for the old cars and being able to maintain a near-forgotten past. Amazing. I'll be watching this video again trying to get a look at the stuff on the shelves that I bet a near priceless and probably no other examples are available around the world. Truly mind-blowing. I love that Honda with the motorbike engine, showing its transition from bikes to cars, I bet there are not many examples of that moment in history still around.
A N600 is still reasonable oke(ish) to find; here anyway. The Netherlands had all the earliest JDM stuff. Though most are in similar condition, they rotted out quick in our humid climate. I always find the motorcycle heritage intriguing as well. Even looking up close at the engine, the short block is one on one the same architecture as their CB motorcycle engine's. same as the carb they used. In the US there was a guy who put a Honda VFR V4 (amazing sounding engines) in one of these that did the rounds on YT. Very fitting and still something I'd love to do as well. You can consider this the grand daddy of the Civic's where the S800 (similar motorcycle tech) was that to the S2000. Which in itself still carries that motorcycle heritage in engineering with a high revving NA engine.
I will have to call back up for another tour with the father and an update on Pauls collection
@@Ltbookumthe early S Hondas always sound godly when wrung out lmao
What a fucking eclectic collection!! Fair play to him and his dad, some lovely motors. Thanks for showing us.👌🏻
I spot a white mirage hatch cyborg in the background while filming the yellow evo.. I had a cyborg but in the RS variant.. mivec kicked in at 6-7k rpm !! What a collection of cars again ❤
Incredible collection, after listening to the Smith and sniff podcast, I got unreasonably excited about the alldays and onions! 😂 That yello Evo 9 was actually bought brand new by a local guy, I didn't know him but saw the car nearly every day as he lives next door to the school! For a few years during the Celtic tiger he bought a few nice cars but 2 brand new sti's and the Evo 9 showed up on the 2nd of January every year, a real blast from the past, I spotted the car online but often wondered where it ended up, it couldn't have gone to a better place
Yeah it went to the best person!
That’s was a hell of a tour. Such a rad find, his wheels alone, and his dad’s collection are astounding.
Its incredible
Thanks so much to the family to show us their cars. Well done lads for making this happen. Great video! Neil is getting better at not taking over everyone!!
You'd be surprised how hard it is to get people to speak, sometimes nothing will happen unless I talk which makes me look like I'm always talking over everyone, unfortunately, Irish people hate being on camera, thankfully Paul was different.
@@juiceboxforyou Neil/ juicy box all - sorry it sounded like a dig, when it’s really a compliment. I know a lot of car folks would be camera averse, but you are getting “calmer?” When dealing/chatting/interviewing them. You can only learn that with time and experience. Love the videos. Wait for yours and soup if he ever comes back to RUclips!
Oh my God, Niel, I can't believe you don't know an Alldays and Onions when you see one.
I've got three of them because they were all handmade and the parts from 1 wouldn't fit on the other so I had to hand forge all the rusty bits from my dried snot and jizz
Terribly carry on
That DS...... Citroen slammed soo much tech into those machines. Ahead of the curve at the time
This is why I subscribed. The Juicebox finds the most obscure stuff just tucked away.
Mighty fine stuff indeed. It will all probably end up in a museum some where getting dusted of by some little old Irish couple.
Funnily enough someone bought all the spare Delorean stock from Ireland and shipped it here to where I live in Houston they started selling the parts and making “new” Deloreans from all the stock. Last I heard they moved to Austin to start making them electric since they ran out of those terrible Peugeot V6’s.
Renault V6 i believe (like the Alpine coupe's) but similarly terrible anyway😂 Bad excuse to go electric though; you guys live in the country of LS's..
@@Ltbookum I think they are doing it because it’s extremely difficult to “produce” cars like this because of the EPA. From what I understand they restore already running dmc’s but they are planning for the future to stay afloat. I personally think electric cars are stupid I think hybrid is the solution at-least for the 20-30 year term while science achieves some kind of breakthrough for an efficient energy production to supply demand. I just hope Toyota can lead by example and other car companies pull their heads out of their a$ses and realize infrastructure and the technology is just not ready yet.
Such lovely collection(s)!!!
And the guy I bought my 1914-ish lathe from was in his 80s said he " bought it from this old gentleman who used it to maintain some old Cork-built Fords"
Those are coool!!!!!
Unbelievable collection credit to his father and himself, was a pleasure watching it 😍😍
Absolutely
Loved that, wouldve never expected to see cars from the 20s especially in Ireland fair play to the lads for keeping them that Rolls Royce was very cool aswell.
Yeah that was an epic bonus
This was one of the best videos yet , some spot fair play to the boys for their collection
What a stunning collection, bit of absolutely everything. The world needs more folks like this, great videos
Cheers! Yeah absolutely
That was immense, keep up the good work, thanks for sharing.
"Anxiety machine that reminds me of Gran Turismo" made me snort-giggle
🤣🤣
This hit Different as someone who grew up around 2CV´s.that slammed one was nuts. and they acutally still do 24hrs of spa in 2cv and there is a race series in the uk thats a 2cv spec series, its crazy close and cheap racing
the DS is a work of art, and She is also referred to as "The Godess", a car well ahead of its time. shes also known for her overcomplicated supension setup, you should look into it, its.... interesting to say the least
Will take a look, such a beautiful looking car
Most of these collections are mind-blowing
I don't think people realize how few Mirage Cyborgs were actually made... 1,700 Cyborg RS, 950 odd Cyborg ZR and and even fewer of the Cyborg RX. So they're as rare as hens teeth! You should see mine! Bought it fresh from Japan and I've had it nearly 14 years, first car I ever bought too!
This was an incredible.
I loved my gun metal Colt.
Fun story: I sold it on Donedeal and there was some girl that really wanted it and randomly her pops called me after she did and said he wanted to make it a bday surprise.
So I told her it was sold and went along with it cause fuck it why not.
She gave me a call after getting the car and was stupid happy getting it. Thanks for reminding of it with the Colt @08:07 and @12:00.
Lol. "fell off the truck."
damn, that is an INSANE COLLECTION ! i mean i was jaw dropping looking at the older cars and all the jdm cars. the bits of things just put around is even more nutty too
Speaking of yellow cars. They're even not all that common here in the US unless it's some modern wrap job or something. I do kind of miss my Ford ranger splash that was yellow. Not just got a boring black car cuz the release series 9.0 version was not a great orange so I just went to black. One day I'll wrap it do something fun. Ridiculous colors and body kits need to make a comeback.
Love this video. Need more good Mitsubishi content on RUclips.
That and the first video of this tour are brilliant,.there is probably a feature episode on 5 or 6 of those cars, great content
Absolutely, will have to call back for a revisit
Clean shots as always Neil!
Cheers!
"Fell of the back of a lorry"... I'm sure it did.
I'm sure it did 🤣🤣
Fair play to the lads for allowing us to see all the cars, savage video again
That was a great video. Keep up the garage tours. 👍🏻
More to come!
The Corsa is in Waterford now and undergoing a lot of love
Some moneys worth there 😮
Great family collection the seat in the boot of that old car was named the mother in law seat
Absolutely unbelievable collection of cars. Fair play to them
Fabulous video nice to see a mixture of cars being saved and enjoyed
Great to see!
Very very cool, amazing what's out there
Really is! I had no idea
awesome video mate
Brilliant man. Could listen to yous talk about cars for hours.
What an incredible collection, thanks for showing us lads.
Love these sort of tours
what an epic vid thank you
Mind blown! What a brilliant collection. I would have enjoyed listening to his dad's stories but you'd probably be still stuck there today filming 😅
I literally watched this on my lunch break too 😂
Awesome car's. Great collection
Wow. An amazing collection. 😮
Ah man, what a collection, that family have the sickness in more ways than one, some people need to live forever so they can keep doing this. They could run day trips to see the collection and have yer man’s dad telling the history of them all. Truly amazing collection. Thanks for sharing this one lad! 💯🔥😎😎😎
Glad you enjoyed it, one of the best tours we've ever had
What a video that was great keep up the great work 👍
I did some work in a factory last year in Carlow, one of the old lads told me they used to make DeLorean parts in the past
What a collection, I love the diversity
Absolutely
Honestly one of the best channels on RUclips 👌
Cheers!
welcome to my world Neil! hahaha
Lieutenant Dan !!!! ❤
How did you not squeese alldays & onions horn 😂
"Anxiety machine" 😂😂😂 belter
My dad had a yellow 1978 ta40 from new, it was absolutely rotten by 1990, how that has survived for another 30 years is unbelievable!
Mental, id say it was dry stored
That was amazing.
Very interesting video, wonder if any of us will have enough interest to keep these old classic cars going or if the arse will fall out the market because nobody other than the collector wants the best of the best and the average examples will just deteriorate and be scrapped when people don't have the passion to keep them going and make there own pats for them
Just pure epic
Fantastic
The Gary Sinise head on yer man 😆
Paul has the bug big time
Ironically enough we have an alldays and onions light 4 down in Wexford at the moment, feck all of them around, company only making cars for less than 20 years!
Thats nuts, such an interesting car
2 door saloon nova in Waterford lad .not as clean and fresh as his but it will some day and ironically it will be painted yellow 🤣 Funny watching this episode 👌
YELLOW fever Mitsifever !! 😍
25:50 you say this is the look into our future... but like man I am already like this smh... everything i have is kinda very much available but when will the old volvos suffer the S13 fate and everything be under a rock.
Great video i enjoyed that and so did my 11 yo son😁🫡
Nice to see a ta40 Carina. I use to have 4 of them years ago. Did you have the wagon or coupe versions?
Think we got both but not 100%
This makes me want an evo...
my sister bought a new corsa in 1990. It lasted around ten years and was handed down to two more sisters. The last one is notoriously hard on vehicles and I think she killed it around time irish NCT was introduced. In fairness they rust worse than unpainted biscuit tins
Yeah they really loved to self destruct
Epic
It is a sickness for sure, though the market has gone to sh.t with all the crazy prices these days my interest in them hasn't diminished one bit. And it's broad as well; anything form the 50's onwards will do. Mostly from a technical standpoint; the fine clockwork engineering of the Japanse, the simple overbuild qualities of the Americans etc. Even that DS; even though I never want to own one the crazy French engineering is pretty cool. The hydraulic suspension in them saved a French president once. The right rear (inc. the tire) where he sat got shot up but due to the self leveling of the suspension it got to drive away on three wheels and flee the scene thus making it out alive. Pretty cool!
Thats nuts! Yeah I'm the same, I like a decent variety but for some reason the Japanese stuff fascinates me the most
Crazy bit a business
I love how much the Irish love cars
This not a collection it's a drug addiction and my gods there are so many cool cars
I love how there all just looking at a vintage RR motor fucking spark plugs exposed
Amazing
Pretty epic to get the full spectrum
Did these boys win the lotto in 2005
How much is black opel corsa 2 door saloon cash waiting
50p
💪🙂👌
Umm... GET A SHED FOR YOUR TOYS MAN! It hurts to see them all out in the weather.
Didn't he say that they're all outside at the moment because he's building another shed?
@@donalsmith If that's the case... sick!
At the time of this, A new shed was being built, he mentions it in the video
🤌
This is actually too much car lads please calm down I feel dizzy
Amazing video, so much history right there!!
