This was eye-opening. Most of us grow up being brainwashed into thinking colonialism is a thing of the past when actually it’s just transformed from territorial into a more insidious financial colonialism. I wasn’t even aware of CFA until a couple of years ago at a Bitcoin conference and it’s still shocking to hear about it being alive and kicking. Thanks Natalie for giving a platform for people like Farida to tell their stories, and for asking the kind of questions I’d want to ask

Brilliant interview... So enlightening and needs to be shared far and wide so people can understand the woes of African people in these French colonies and how they continue to be enslaved.

Truly heartbreaking to realize what money does to human beings. It was great to watch your expressions Natalie. Your heart and soul was hurting as you heard the depravity of man but cheered up when talking about lightning. Bitcoin is so much more than making money it’s a stand for freedom and equality and a vote against tyranny and corruption. Great job Nat, well done good and faithful servant of others you are an example to many. We love you🙂

What a great guest and unexpected direction for your show. I appreciate Farida fleshing out somewhat my limited understanding of France's profiteering off African countries via currency control. She was much more specific than the materials I'd previously come across.

Alex Galdstein (I think) pointed out on Robert Breedlove's podcast that the IMF lays out a similar 'post colonial' financial dependency to its loan recipients also. Except with USD to buoy an unbacked currency creating a kind of debt induced demand. All the colonial powers were in the same boat as the French after WW2 they were all broke except USA and while it wasn't a colonial power effectively became one via a debt slavery regime.
Farida is a goldmine of info and apparently a tough and intelligent person , so glad to hear from her and I hope she comes back to update us soon!

I have visited 18 of the 54 countries; fell in love with the people, culture and animals on my first visit which doesn't stop.

Great show Natalie as always, but one recommendation, ask for likes and subscribes AFTER the show, or even say 3/4 thru, after people, esp. new people have had a chance to watch it. Same with your sponsor's message. Otherwise people will just skip over it. Well they'll skip over anyway, but the skip is different IMO if it comes after some quality content.

Stopped watching your channel because there isn't much value in your stuff anymore. More useful for newcomers to the space and people unaware of basic stuff (hard to put nicely) imho. + poor choice of interviewees (usual CT crap). Clicked on this one to get some nice background noise while working but didn't expect it to get this real. One thing's for sure: you still love your risks :).

    • @mandog-FYT

I disagree. Natalie is exemplary on either side of an interview. Have you seen her news clips? Impressive. I admit I'm biased. I'd tune in if she were just reading the phone book. But I watch a lot of content over various formats. She's sharp, focussed, articulate and nimble in engaging the most cantankerous individual. If she ever tires of this gig I'd say she could be quite successful as a trial lawyer.
      Go Team Nat!

She's great alright -- that's not why I watch shxt on youtube. If you do, great for you.
That being said: good day to you.
