In 2011, I was one of the only non-progressives using bitcoin within the libertarian space who had a mic. FR33 Aid, Thanksgiving Basket Charity and a host of left leaning food preppers all leaned left. They wanted access to banking for the common man, and I wanted to decouple money from identity. Bitcoin had the potential to solve both issues. It is breaking my heart to hear you talk about the "history" while revealing a total lack of knowledge of it. I don't blame you as the narrative was seized a decade ago. It just hurts.
I think it really helps that Dennis grew up in Portland. I went to college in that city, and that alone may open up more doors for talking to politicians on the left.
I live somewhere that has a wealth tax, a tax on the value of all assets as of December 31st. It is especially annoying for crypto, which in some years like 2024 and 2025 you know your crypto's value is going to be at a high value when taxed and then lose 70%-95% in the months to follow.
Book idea for every demographic is so smart. Remember how people have such short attention spans these days that same idea should be used to do pod casts and tiktoks Instagram posts. It's endless. Awesome idea.!!!!!
Each demographic has use cases particular to their lives and issues . Bitcoin for me at age 60 has given my family hope in retirement. Bitcoin for governments and companies. Simple graphs and math because people need visuals. I loved this interview. We need more of the bipartisanship attitude. Bitcoin for Americans so we maintain world status as a positive model to look to
What's amazing about the idea of a tax on unrealized earnings for BTC just because people got in early is that bitcoiners have been screaming about this to anyone who would hear them for over a decade. I've got my sad story about missing it but that's my fault alone lol.

Do you really understand the mixed system/form of government controlled political-socio economic capitalism-socialism America, China, Russia and many 'nation states practice! Definition of Laissez-Faire Capitalism: means an unregulated system where the government’s sole function is to protect individual rights! It involves a separation of state and economics, akin to the separation of state and church!
