- I go over some fun intersections that you can make in your own cities to help manage the traffic. From basic to complex, they basically look like mini in-town highways.

I really like all the different constructions people make with the roads. It looks so realistic and organic. The only problem is, is that they take up so much space that you just don't need them, because there's not enough space left on a map to generate enough traffic for them to be necessary.
Looks cool and all, but takes half a city!
Besides, they won't actually work, because of Pathfinding algorithm picks the "easy, short" way, rather than "speedy" way - and there are no "one-way roads" which would make this work (talking about vanilla game).
Fascinating the sim AI is dumb as rocks though and they'll make left turns everywhere instead of making a right turn adding to the jam. Wouldn't be a problem if they just gave us roads that go in one direction or signs that said no fucking left turns.
Simcity needs one-way streets like Simcity 4 had.
use mods
SimCity 4 does not have one-way streets. SimCity 4: Rush Hour only has one-way _roads_.
This was really helpful :) I have a few cities with traffic problems and funny thing is they're actually small towns with only population levels between 30-50 thousand Sims haha. But I do have a major city with almost 300,000 thousand Sims so they're commuting between each city. Thanks for the video :)

Too bad the map size is too small. I already have trouble fitting everything I want. Hopefully the next simcity game would be at least 4 times larger.
We shouldn't have to wait for the next game... they should update this damn game... It's really frustrating having small maps, Maxis

Well cities skylines have saved us
Roblox Lets play - At this point I would say it's on the path to saving us. While enjoy the game, there is lots of polish still needed.
This is better perfected in Simcity 4 and Cities Skylines.
I wonder how confused his Sims are? I imagine that there would sad Sim's trying to lay down in traffic, train tracks or jumping off Sim bridges. They just don't understand that the digital world hasn't gotten the counselors and psychiatrists to deal with the confused Sims.
I'd like to believe that random car was like, "What am I doing in Sim City? Cities Skylines is better, I'm outa here!" and drove away.
Can you tell me about the ''planning-camera-mode''? Enabling it only allows me to zoom-out a bit further, nothing more.

Sad they're not one ways so proper service and system junctions.
Only one problem, all this takes up lots of valuable space from other thing other then that is very cool idea..wish maps were little bigger

+Lucy Chishi I downloaded some mods to give me some more road options and a larger building area.
But if you're looking for a good city builder - check out Cities: Skylines :)

I think when you up grade those streets you'll get stop signs.

Not overly affective unfortunately, I've tried it with one-way streets and I get a much better end result.
I find that it's more of a visual, fun thing to add to the city - though it does help slightly with traffic, but not to the effect that I had originally hoped for.
