Since beginning his comedy career in Melbourne, Australia in 2005, Randy Feltface has written and performed eight solo stand-up comedy shows, released three comedy specials, played sold-out seasons in London and New York, and been nominated for Best Comedy at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He made his US television debut on NBC’s Bring The Funny in 2019 and has been invited to perform at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal on four separate occasions.
In 2010 Randy joined forces with musical comedian Sammy J to create Ricketts Lane, which won Best Show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and went on to become a television series of the same name, airing in 2015 on ABC TV in Australia, Seeso in the US and Netflix in the UK. Randy's role in Sammy J & Randy in Ricketts Lane earned him an AACTA Award nomination for best performer in a comedy series, the first non-human performer to be recognized in this category. He opened his most recent show Modus Operandy at the Sydney Opera House as part of the 2019 Just For Laughs Festival before shows in London, Amsterdam and an extensive North American tour. Randy’s live show is a high-energy existential crisis, full of biting observations, razor-sharp crowd work, and rapid arm movements.

As someone who worked in a gas station and has been on the other side of this interaction MANY times it’s nice to see the customer’s side. Like even if it was on the other side of the country I’ve been in this situation more times than I could count. Btw for a country so obsessed with oil, our gas station system do NOT work very well
In the 90s I worked at a convenience stores and quickly learned that most people are awful. The term drive-offs was new to me but I soon learned gas thieves come in every stripe.

The dude's impatience is funny for two reasons:
Firstly, no gas station has only one pump, so that guy could have totally gone to a different pump.
Secondly, if the gas terminal was down for Randy, it would have been broken for him as well. He wouldn't have been able to get gas anyway.
Maybe he had cash (although him being American makes that unlikely I think, I've heard you hardly operate with cash anymore)
No the worst part of that is that those men absolutely did not know or care about any of those things, they just saw “man take way too long on pump” and started being dickheads about it… and once Randy left, they presumably ran into the exact same problems (except they might have actually had cash… might have)

I've only been here a year and been through a tornado, multiple severe lightning storms, power outages, myriad car troubles, there was an electrical fire in an outlet yesterday, then a few hours later plumber blew up the water main, and this morning I found a goddamn live scorpion in my kitchen sink. If you pay for the gas first, then you can’t steal it if you pay for it after it’s easy to steal
You absolutely can steal fuel while paying for it first.
Not all pumps can be told to stop at the value you’ve paid for. I had to prepay a few weeks ago, so paid for £70 as a guess to how much I needed. (Turns out, I needed £68.50) Once I’d paid, I was then informed that “you’ll need to stop at £70 because the pump won’t automatically cut off”
In Vietnam there's employees pumping gas for customers so you can't really steal gas. I don't really understand the pump it yourself culture over there

really funny stupid story, i would not believe that happened. Even knowing there are "impatient" people just do your thing, pay for the gas, get the gas, then get the move on. if the people were seriously SO impatient and wanted you to move they would had offered to pay for your gas. Also, just because someone has a firearm doesn't mean the firearm is going to pull a knife on you which by the way i've never seen or heard of.
