We were so excited about getting a Bojangles, again. We only have tenders. We have 2 of them. A long time ago we had Bojangles with the spicy chicken. That is what I had my mouth set for. The lines were so long in the drive-thru. Then people said, it was just tenders..
Should have been some Bo Rounds added to that order. Also the Chicken and rice Bowl is really good. I usually substitute the grilled spicy chicken for Tenders and throw some cheese on top of the dirty rice and tenders. That thing is a 5 all day can't go wrong with it and Bo Rounds + they have really good Sweet Tea as well.
I'm from Charlotte where Bojangles started and i can assure you the menu items differ depending on where it is. The quality is definitely different as well. We specialize in bone-in chicken. And i've never heard of a bo berry shake, we do have bo berry cookies.
Tried for the first time in Heath/Newark the other day. Everything was delicious-best fast food tenders and biscuit I’ve had. Only thing I regret was not getting a Boberry biscuit or peach biscuit.
