Hall's Pictorial Weekly, the best comedy and political satire show that RTE ever did.

Frank Hall was a very Conservative person. After halls pictorial weekly came off the air hall got the censors job. Which was at the time a very Conservative posting. Halls successor banned natural born killers outright. It only had one TV screening on rte 2.

Not bad, not bad at all. I'm not sure how much of Hall's Pictorial Weekly has survived. I saw a DVD of excerpts from it once. My dad had picked it up, remembering this show from "back in the day".

To most people there was nothing funny about Margaret Thatcher who was a brutal politician, she and her government/army/police did untold damage to the people of the North of Ireland also the UK, she acted without any human feelings for others and was happy to carry on with the savaged and brutal behavior of the British government, the invading British army, the brutal police force in the North of Ireland also her most best friend Rev Dr Ian Paisley also known as money and fame grabber Baron Bannside all of those helped to convert thousands of good catholic boys, girls, men and women to change they good ways and fight back, some of those people cross the bad line more than a few times and became brutal gangsters themselves, this is what happens when war and brutal conflict is brought to your door and the peaceful people begin to stand up and defend themselves. Old Margret helped to wipe out whole towns, villages, and large parts of the UK when she left poor people to eat only coal. She sent her mighty arm and airforce to fight on a tiny little island which belongs to a very far of distant land, she loved and supported brutal dictators. Her hatred of the Irish ran very deep, how dare they stand up and defend themselves
