Congrats on reaching $100 subscribers! I really enjoyed seeing a different approach to ink swatching. My 3 favorites of the moment are my Franklin Christoph fountain pens, my Wonderland222 A5 planner and my Travelers Company EDC notebook.
Entered! Thank you so much :). I've been reallly curious about the Wonderland 222, as I feel a little resistance at times to the "trendy" nature of Hobonichi. Traveler's Company is newish to me, but I am really loving--more than expected--memory keeping in my TN July-start vertical weekly diary.
Congratulations on 100 subscribers! I only recently found you this past weekend, but I already highly enjoy your videos. My top 3 items would be my Tomoe River paper, washi tape(mood pending), and my Midori notebook for journaling! I’d say fountain pens but I wouldn’t even be able to choose a top 20 of pens. 😂 Happy writing!!
Congrats on 100 subscribers! My 3 stationery favorites at the moment are my Hobonichi Weeks Mega, a Pilot Kakuno with a medium nib, and the Uni-ball One gel pens.
Entered! I love my Kakuno, too. The only thing I would want to change (since I keep too many pens inked) would be to somehow plug up the little holes in the cap, so it would not be prone to drying out before I get around to it. First world problem, I know :) Thank you.
I love the Organics Studio Nitrogen! I used it exclusively in my planner in a Pilot Explorer with a fine nib. Even in a fine nib, it still sheens, but the sheening doesn't overpower the beautiful blue color. I'm left-handed and I do find the ink will smudge slightly days later if I touch it with my left hand while writer nearby. I need to get in the habit of place a protective page over it. Thanks for sharing your blue inks with us!
Good to know! How did it behave in terms of flow and later cleaning? I've been resistant to loading my pens with such heavily sheening ink. This one is said to dry quickly in the pen. I want to embrace sheen, but so far have limited sheening inks to my dip pens.
@@scribblesandinkstains - Cleaning, no problems! It sometimes doesn't start to flow off the bat but otherwise flows fine. When it doesn't start, I leave it turned nib side down for a while and then it flows just fine. I'm not keen on that aspect, but I love the color so I accept that part. I have it loaded in an inexpensive pen and as I said, I used it daily in my planner so it's not so problematic to stop me from use it every day.
Hi, New subbie here. I do a variety of mixed media, so I use a lot of tools. To narrow it down to 3, I guess I would go with my palette of watercolors, ink, and stamps.
@@scribblesandinkstains Right now I’m using an Artistro palette I bought on Amazon for a good price. The quality is fine for my purposes, comes in a pretty teal, metal tin that latches…48 colors.
I always use Tomoe River loose paper, and Cosmo Air Light notebooks. My favorite inks are Diamine and Robert Oster. I have a small collection of vintage pens, my favorite are Sheaffer. As far as my favorite pens, they would have to be Lamy and TWSBI, although I have a few higher end pens. I enjoyed your video, and it is your first one I've seen. Thank you!
Thanks for writing; awesome choices! I'm looking forward to trying the Diamine inkvent this winter... and agree on having a consistent urge to reach for my Lamy (EF inked with Diamine Writer's Blood) and TWSBIs. Deep love for both. Have a great weekend...
Nicely swatched. Interesting to see your method. I still haven't found the exact right thing that works for me so seeing different styles/formats is helpful. I especially like the idea of making sure to swatch on Tomoe River paper, since that's the paper I use most often to write my letters. (Oh...and I had to look up the pronunciation because it is said in different ways; it's actually pronounced Tomo-eh. JetPens actually has videos showing proper pronunciations for their Japanese items. :) )
I like your tabs for your sections of color! Are they something you made? My top three items would be washi tapes, stickers of all kinds (depending on my mood whether they are nature based, colorful or just sarcastic) and tomoe river journals because I love the crinkling of the paper after it has been written on.
Hi Stephanie, I love your list. Who is your fave supplier for washi? And completely agree with the tomoe river paper. I have a very small supply of loose A4 sheets that I’ll probably set up as single-sheet ink swatches. The tabs are handmade. I had some watercolor swatches that I put Modge Podge on for protection, cut in half to make two tabs, then tipped in with crafters tape. Thanks for watching!
Congrats on reaching $100 subscribers!

@@sandrapawula4109 thanks for this! I think I’ll try it in one of my Kaweco sports. The ink characteristics are amazing.
Congrats for hitting 100 Subscribers
Thanks,@SuperMarioJayden!

Thanks for watching. What are your fave watercolors? I’m much more comfortable with oil paints, so inks and water media are a newish adventure😙
