Yes, I do. Been there and done that -- waiting for a tow truck to be dispatched from Tupelo 35 miles SE of Tupelo! It was 23 degrees with a lot of wind so it was really brutal! Could have been worse, though, 'cause it could have taken longer, a lot longer!

Tow operators can be your best friend, or your worst enemy, depending on the circumstances. have the long arm of the law call a tow truck to a scene, especially on a ticket, and you won't like it very well. But remember, it isn't the fault of the operator for your towed vehicle, it's yours. However, if you break down somewhere, they can be a lifeline of getting you back on the road in a reasonable amount of time.

They were doing plenty of yelling at each other! My husband and I used to drive 1,000 miles straight from our home in Florida all the way to Northwest Arkansas to visit family. One year, we reached Memphis, leaving us another 5-6 hours to drive, but it was sleeting in Memphis, the temperatures were starting to plunge and we knew if we stopped overnight in Memphis, we'd be iced in and would miss Christmas with family, so we decided to continue on. I was driving because my husband was so sleepy, and I was hanging a washcloth out the window and slapping myself in the face to stay awake. That was our last trip driving straight through, it's just too risky to fight sleep for 6 hours across the state!

So far I haven't had a bad experience with tow drivers. In fact, I owe a lot to the ones near me for helping me out when my new car stopped working, and they offered me a ride home since I was half an hour away. I had to wait for my husband though because we had to immediately pick up our kid from school. Then again when my car quit working on the way home from picking my kid up about a month later.
My "new" car definitely had me on a first name basis with the driver's lol. Always so kind and helpful.

Here in the foothills of central California we call people like this, "flatlanders". Some of them try to visit Yosemite in the spring in a rental car without ever driving on snow before. I once rescued two elderly people that slid on the ice and ended up on their side in a frozen pond half submerged. It happened right outside my cabin in Fishcamp California. I ran out of my house to see what happened and pulled them both out before everyone started asking me if I was cold. I was barefoot and shirtless and was only wearing a pair of sweatpants.😁 Adrenaline is incredible!

Also the SUV blocking them in didn't slide there, the tire tracks showed the wheels rolled not slid to the curb but when they tower it the wheels were locked in gear.

I have only just found your channel in the past few days, and have watched a few videos now.
I always admire people who are extremely good at their jobs, and people who work well as a team.
From what I have seen so far, some of the folks you encounter while doing your work can be "challenging" to say the least. Which I suppose makes things somewhat entertaining for subscribers. But I will continue to watch your videos because you are so good at what you do.
The fellow in the precarious situation on the mountain made the right call when he reached out to you.😊
Also, I live on the west coast, and thanks to your videos I am seeing what looks like a very beautiful part of the world, but oh my, those mountain roads sure are narrow, steep and windy!!!
    Best wishes from 🇨🇦!

Glad that the owners of the van didn't gibe you a hard time when they picked it up, you guys did go out of your way to try and arrange the pick-up. Don't understand the comments on this one about extortion and questioning you not disclosing your fees. I don't make it a habit of disclosing my income to the public at large, why because its none of their business. I understand that each situation is different and it's a case by case basis. Keep doing you. ❤
