CONGO’S ROADS: UPDF, FARDC clear roads to get to ADF camps in eastern DRC

- The UPDF and Congolese troops are clearing the road between the Busunga border and Semliki bridge to get to the hideouts of the Allied Democratic Forces who they are after. Col. James Kasule told NTV that this will give the troops access to Madina and Beni so that they can begin the ground assault against the ADF who are blamed for bomb attacks on Kampala. Sudhir Byaruhanga reports that the terrain in which the soldiers are operating is rough.

How many Ugandan soldiers have died in the field and rebels journalists have not shown the world the figures of UPDF soldiers have died and ADF rebels who have died.
Sudhir byarughanga, next time you should step out of the way of the soldiers marching in single file. That was pretty insensitive of you to even wave your hand right in the face of one of the soldiers walking past.

I made a documentary on ADF. have been asked a close stakeholders and they told me most probably active ADF militants are b/n 800-1000 in number.
ADF fighters Not willing to defect because:
* the rebel paid its fighters well
* Both the DRC and Uganda forces humiliation focus on the eastern Congo muslim civilians.
* restore legal government infrastructure (school,health centre, road jobs for the youth and empowerment of women ...) and strong tax enforcement on mine and timber products.
If the operation doesn't consider these facts and adjust there off ADF will resurrect.
Nothing i can contribute towards the fighting of ADF rebels but Ugandans can understand,East African countries or the world.
