I’m making them now. I usually always fry them but have been working on eating healthier. It’s nice to see I’m not the only one baking them! Thanks for the video ❤️
You are welcome!
Delicious! I've made these catfish nuggets with your instructions many times and I love how healthy and easy it is. Some ways I change it up is by adding onion powder and parsley flakes or serving it with lime 🤍
I’m so happy you enjoyed them!
Looks great, trying this tonight 🙏💕

Thanks for sharing being a diabetic I'm always looking for healthier ways to prepare my favorite foods. The only change I'm going to make is to prepare mine on a panini press

Great video only thing you’re missing is how long do you bake it?
is in the video at the 3:02 mark . 425 for 20 min
Exactly what @ToreyanJones said
I just put my catfish in the oven, then came here and watched this video. My nuggets always come out just okay, but not great. I will try this recipe next week when I have them again.
Please let me know how they turn out!
@@MelanieCooksRecipes Okay, I tried it again. I didn't have the ingredients you used in the video, so I substituted what I had. It didn't turn out great; it wasn't something I could serve to guests. I used oregano, salt, pepper, Old Bay seasoning, and Dash original seasoning. The taste of the Old Bay really overpowered the fish and it was borderline gross. They were also soggy and really soft (I rinsed the fish in water before coating; I don't know if that is good to do). I'm not sure my oven reaches proper temperature either. I set it to 450 to be safe, but I don't know even then if it got hot enough. If I attempt this again, I'll be sure to have garlic powder and paprika, and preheat the oven longer. And I won't use Old Bay seasoning.
Sorry they didn't turn out well. I don't rinse them as it's not necessary, the cooking process kills all the bacteria. Rinsing can make them more soggy, you can dry them by blotting with paper towels. Also, you can try dipping them in flour on both sides before baking, that should make them more crispy.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊🎉
Thank you! 😊
