Another awesome day fishing off the rocks! Well done. You are fishing in my stomping grounds... my boat goes in on Friday. Looking forward to some Fluke action. Your channel is really exploding. The sky is the limit for you. Congratulations.
Just found your channel and love the content! I live in PA and have been down to the Jersey Shore for fishing here and there, great to see some techniques to try on my next trip.
I’ve been checking every day for a new video! In the first 30 seconds I knew exactly where u were headed lol surprised I didn’t see u. There is about a 30 yard section where they have been just carpeted in there.
There is no reason why you shouldn’t return to this spot the rest of the season. One of my go to land based shore fluking spots is very well known & popular. It gets a ton of fishing pressure but it produces keeper & slot sized fluke all season. If that jetty is holding fluke now, it will hold fluke weeks from now.
I would like to know where this place is. I've been trying since the season opened and I haven't been able to catch any. I'm new to fishing. I've only been a few months but I'd like to see new good places. I also live in New Jersey. If someone could help me locate this place I would greatly appreciate it.
@@andrewhirtle3525 nice spot burn. One thing I give Dillon a lot of credit for (even though I don’t agree with a lot of things he says) is the fact that he never gives out the location of where he is fishing. FWIW, I fish the spot you mentioned often (as I live 10 minutes from it), a lot of people fish it, and a lot of fluke are caught, although the vast majority are shorts. I’ve taken the time over the last 5+ years to really get to know that spot very well.. So much so that I know exactly where to cast, what stage of the tide (either incoming or outgoing) to fish, what bait is better (depends on time of year) and where to move (sometimes a move can only be a few yards). Can not tell you how many times I went to that spot, get my limit within 30 minutes and have people who hav been fishing there all day and have caught nothing but shorts look at me like I’m some sort of wizard.
I’ll be in cape may 29th and 30th know any good spots to fish down there never been down there before and idk what rig I should use just starting off with saltwater fishing so I’ve been watching ur videos lately since u fish in jersey
Keepers are caught at this spot all season. Reason: fluke move in from deeper waters to hit the bait fish in the warmer waters. They do this all season, which is why the bay and shore is on fire even in September.
Confirmed, just checked reel again and that guy had same knob but older model of Spinfisher. I watched some of your videos including epic fall run that I missed out but haven’t subbed till now. You got a new sub and maybe our path will cross one day.
@Bernard Escobar same to you! I never believed in secret spots, but I also don't want to be too forthcoming in case there are unscrupulous anglers out there. I just let a beautiful first ever 22" striper go. I care about the ecosystem and the harvest. But I love me some seared flounder Tight lines
@@hansoogiayo lemme in on the spot. Took me 4 days of trying to get 2 keeper flukes. 1 19in and 1 17in at manasquan inlet. I like sending photos of what I catch to my grandma, info of the spot would be much appreciated 🙏.
Cool watching people fish where I do! Always good to learn new techniques.
When the bucket of gulp broke i felt that
I can smell it through the camera

Yeah we call that the shit sammich. Nothing else will make you poop in the woods like a sizzli and a coffee.

Nice video. What is power and action of the rod?
Try Z-Man Dormatador with a squirt of Pro Cure Flounder Pounder. Works just as well and lasts a whole lot longer!
I’ve had no luck with the doormatador
You ever use fresh bunker strips on bucktails for fluke and weakies?
The dredded Tupperware blowout..

My home town. I won’t say the spot, but If the bluefish come that jetty will be mobbed with people.
Yea such a good early fluke spot is hard to keep quiet

Can’t go wrong with a fish finder rig and fresh clam this time of year
I know that parkway entrance. Are you local to that area?
Also try measuring with the ruler underneath the fish. Gives a more accurate measurement
Is that New Jersey? It looks like the island by me
What are the size limits

Shit why pay 100$ to go on a party boat when you can fish this place for free.
