- While we’re stuck in self-quarantine, we thought we’d try and visualize how the novel coronavirus spreads through a controlled environment like an apartment. Here’s how transmission happens, and what you can do about it.

Love your videos
What household cleaners can be used on your dog. Seriously, why would you bother mentioning that without providing some sort of solution?
Ryan Swaggert last I checked, you can use soap and water on your pets? lol. Just give them a good bath. They can’t contract the virus, so that’s not a concern, in case you were wondering.
But corona virus can't survive long right ? Like on parcel etc.. They also can infect other person through air droplet only, not airborne etc. Right ?
Thank you for mentioning how important it is to wash hands before touching your pet.
This is why I always wash my hands as soon as I get home.

Can you please demonstrate (with the assistance of your awesome glow germ powder) correct hand washing technique (including best types of soap to use, best temperature of water, adequate min. length of time, what areas of their hands they should pay special attention to & how, how to turn off their faucets, what to dry hands with, etc.) Also please talk about the need to frequently moisturize hands with lotions/creams, use hand sanitizers with at least 60% alcohol to kill germs but also that has aloe vera in it to help protect hands from the harsh effects of the alcohol, & then of course keeping yourself hydrated which helps keep your skin hydrated...bc unfortunately when you wash your hands frequently (which we all are doing now) your hands are more likely to get dry & even crack which breaks down the skin barrier...not good! My point is that in general, people are being told by everyone else to wash their hands much more often! And they can wash all they want, but if they don’t do it correctly they might be walking away from their sinks with hands just as covered with germs as when they came! Thanks!
Here are my tips:
Leave shoes at front door and spray down with Lisol
Wash face and hands soon when you get home.
Sanitize groceries or any item soon when you step in the door.
Wipe down surfaces with disinfectant that are frequented a lot
Wash hands throughput the day and don't touch face.
Take shower at least 3 times a week.
a bit excessive, you have a immune system for a reason 🤷🏾♂️
@@hunterklugh5067 better to be careful and prevent it from happening than trying to test your immune system

While washing your hands you kept the water flow continue for 20 seconds. Which is not a good thing to do right?
How do they *know* that hand washing is an effective countermeasure? Is it also an effective countermeasure against other viruses? If so, why are we not told to hand wash to ward off flu?
It is and we are.
WAIT this is not right. The way soap is interacting with the virus isn't that its breaking apart the membrane rather that it makes the static charge and the ability for the virus to be stuck onto the skin cells less therefore rendering it to be washed away. It is still active and alive when it falls down the drain but that's all that washing hands with soap and water does. If you were referring to hand sanitizer or alcohol wipes then you are right that the virus is destroyed by these methods, but the video is very misleading in indicating that the virus dies by washing hands with only soap and water.
Wow...basic hygiene protects you from coronavirus, go figure. I don’t know what the hell people are thinking by NOT washing themselves. I learned this stuff in 1st grade health along with the proper way to brush your teeth and not to share your comb. No wonder they are spreading this disease like wildfire. Lord help us.
It's great that you put a link in the description box to a list of cleaners that kill viruses. The only name I saw on the chart in your list of cleaners that I recognized is Clorox. The chart showed that bleach killed the virus in 1 minute if I read the chart correctly. But there are several different types of Clorox products by name. I have never heard of the EPA numbers that are in the first category, or box, on the chart. What is that all about?
The chart also shows isopropanol as an effective cleaner. The chart shows that alcohol kills in 5 minutes. But it didn't show the alcohol percentage strength necessary to kill the viruses. Is that what the EPA code number is there to designate?
The chart shows that ammonia kills viruses in 10 minutes.
I only looked at the first 50 of the 247 cleaners listed. I figured it was the rest of the list would be more of the same. Thanks for taking the time to post.
The protected need to be protected from the unprotected by making the unprotected get the protection that didn't protect the protected.

We got into this situation because when China discovered it in November 2019, they suppressed the news until Jan 2019, when they couldn't stop it anymore
Did they use a time machine or did you mean Jan 2020?

*i suspect that I have the virus. I said that I had a sore throat in school but didn’t really think much of it but then they immediately called my parents to take me home. It’s harder than usual breathing but it might just be that I’m thinking of it. Idk what might happen lol I just hope that I don’t spread it IF I have it*
If you can, try to contact your doctor and let them know of your symptoms. They may have you tested (which would be ideal), but as of now in the US, we're short on them. Just try your best to stay away. Make sure your parents and whoever you live with are washing their hands thoroughly. Because you live with your family, it's not a bad idea to quarantine yourself to your room, with your parents bringing up food. Try to designate a bathroom for you and you only.
gokucrazy22 thank you for your response.
I went to a place which I don’t know how to describe, it’s not a full on emergency room but a smaller kind. And they didn’t let us in but we talked thru a speaker next to the wall and they told me to go home and rest and lookout for more symptoms.

The virus originates from China. Someone from China has traveled to a different country. Their presence in that country has been documented. The individual from China travels to ?. Their path is documented. The places traveled are inspected. The question again is how long does the virus live on surfaces?

That's how I got sick a week after I returned from work after working from home for months. I hadn't worn a mask anywhere until going back to work and I had to wear it all day. I didn't realize it aggravated a medical condition of mine. I kept touching my face because I was in a lot of pain and had to keep adjusting the mask and trying to wear it in a way that it wouldn't hurt. I guess that defeated the purpose of it being a hygienic product. Now I don't wear one since I got a doctor's note. They just moved my seat.
I think I might wash my hands more than anyone else at work. I always do after touching common office items like staplers. Of course, now I don't touch my face much at all :)
