I imagine this being the battle cry of a loyal dreadnaught of a traitor chapter on Istvan lll as he emerges from a bunker with the few loyal brothers he could save, as they head out to deal with as many of their traitorous brothers as they can before they fall. He blares it on his vox channel, but by the end of the song, he is the last one standing, overrun and about to fall himself, he turns off the limiters to his dreadnaughts reactor, overloading it and going out in a blaze that takes several heretics with him.

((Sorry if this is a bit long, but I had to get it out...))
As the mighty Dreadnaught slammed his fist through the wall, he maximized his sensory inputs. Shaking off the Chaos Marine that had been between him and the wall, he confirmed no enemy remained in the immediate vicinity. He had survived another wave of Cultists, along with several of their Chaos Marine masters, leaving none but himself and an injured Apothecary standing. Around them, their fallen brethren lay where they took their final stand. All fell guarding a single structure inside the underground cavern, the bunker’s entrance looking like it had been taken out of an underwater combat vessel. Inside, 15,000 innocent souls prayed to get through the next hour, let alone the day…
When the Traitors broadcast themselves performing the first of the rituals on all visual entertainment mediums, many thought it was a cruel hoax. So many people sacrificed, the first emergence of the Daemons, the beginnings of the Master Portal in orbit, it all seemed impossible. Most didn’t believe it was real until the raiding parties came for them. Some foolishly thought it looked like fun and performed it themselves, going well until the Daemons killed anyone in sight, wannabe ritualist or not. As the reality of the attacks became all too real, the Master Portal growing with each sacrifice, people started to panic. Some of the Planetary Defense Forces had been corrupted, eliminating their loyal counterparts before they could make a move. When a large group of civilians killed themselves to prevent themselves being captured & sacrificed, they never knew they were being recorded & transmitted, the Master Portal growing regardless. Any death fed the Master Portal’s growth, with the sacrifices merely being more effective. Hope seemed to be truly gone…
    Until the Astartes arrived.
In armour of blood red with black stripes from forehead to back of neck and black shoulders, they had mustered what forces they could and launched a counter offensive. Their arrival surprised the Chaos forces, giving civilians time to escape, bringing back some glimmer of hope. But with only 2 dozen Marines, 1 Dreadnaught, several Rhinos, a single generically coloured Sword Class Frigate & a precious few Thunderhawks to their rapid response force, they lacked the strength to truly hold the enemy back. Knowing this, their mission was to protect as many civilian lives as possible while a proper Strike Force was assembled. They had come knowing their own chances of survival were low, but they need only protect as any civilians as possible…
A mere 24 hours later, and the last loyal citizens of the planet, only 15,000 to their number, hid in their underground bunker. Their brave defenders had made the Chaos forces earn every inch of tunnel with gallons of blood. Several fell along the way, their Progenoid Glands removed by the Apothecary then the reactors of their armour set to overload as makeshift bombs. Their ship had successfully drawn away some of the small Chaos fleet but had not yet returned to a position where it could assist. The airspace above was far too hot for the Thunderhawks to attempt an attack run, let alone stop and start collecting civilians, occasionally intercepting approaching forces the only help they could provide. With so many in 1 place and the tunnels providing some relief as a bottleneck, the Astartes had decided to divide their forces - some to go inside the bunker as a last line of defense while only those who volunteered to stay outside. None had gone in with the civilians, even the injured providing another barrel to cull the Chaos numbers…
Giving the area another sensory sweep, the Dreadnaught turned as he heard a pained groan behind him. The Apothecary had dropped to 1 knee and breathed calmly but deliberately, hand over the wound the Chaos Marine chainsword had caused. Their Brethren of the fully Equipped Strike Force were on their way to join the fight, but they were still an hour away. The Dreadnaught could make out the distant sounds of the enemy amassing once again, preparing for another onslaught with weapons made to crack vehicles much larger than himself…
“Brother, are you able to collect their Geneseed?”
    The Apothecary nodded.
“Then do so. We don’t have long before their next assault! We shall place it inside the bunker, that our brethren may collect it when they come…”
The wounded Marine moved as fast as he could while the Dreadnaught contacted those inside to prepare to open the entrance, his orders to only open it slightly, send the precious cargo inside then close it, auto-lock systems engaging the instant it was shut. As the Apothecary finished collecting the Progenoid Glands the door was opened, the Apothecary walking to the gap with the Dreadnaught behind. Getting to the opening, The Apothecary looked in to see the people send someone their way only for something behind him to hit with enough force to launch him inside. Scraping the ground with his chest piece, he looked behind him to see the Dreadnaught slowly lowering his Plasma cannon…
“Brother, what is the meaning of this?!”
“You are in no condition to continue fighting right now, and the next wave approaches. These are my orders - protect the Geneseed! Go deep with the people of this planet, seal the path behind you, be mended and prepare to fight back any breaches. I will hold the line here…”
With that, the Dreadnaught shoulder-pushed the door shut, despite his Apothecary’s protests, auto-locks engaging immediately. With the enemy now in distant sight and cautiously approaching, expecting more boobytraps like the ones that had claimed many others before them, the Dreadnaught opened long range coms once more…
“Sharpened Blade, are you still there?”
“Still here, surprisingly intact but still on the run.”
“Glad to hear. Are you able to provide me some firepower at least?”
“Our torpedo tubes are fully functional, but we’re in no position for a precision strike I’m afraid- “
“Thank you, but I have no need for precision. I want you to completely level this city. Destroy every structure above and below this place for at least a hundred miles around. The bunker is deep enough to protect the people from all but the strongest bunker busters, we need only prevent them weakening the doors…”
“But that’s suicidal! Even your armour- “
“I stand alone against unnumbered cultists and our traitorous cousins equipped to destroy tanks. I will not survive this assault. I need only know I didn’t go down alone and that I protected these people best I could…”
“Understood. Orbital Bombardment Torpedoes loading…. Munitions loaded and ready to fire, target coordinates confirmed and in sight! FIRE!! Munitions away, impact in 4 minutes…”
“Roger that. Thank you for your assistance…”
“You shall all be remembered in the Halls Of Honour…”
With the enemy seconds away from mutual firing ranges, the Dreadnaught confirmed targets and took a moment to scroll through the onboard music selection. Locating a song long ago found but never played in battle, he started the song as the 1st missile flew wide of his chassis, singing along as he vaporized the 1st of this wave’s victims…
    “Fellow armsmen, I ask you
Will you follow me tonight to break their spine?
And reclaim what once was mine…”
As the battle raged, the misaimed siege shell from a mortar tank blasted a chunk of roof, the resulting collapse seemingly connecting the hole to another on the surface, letting the Dreadnaught see the sky outside. A sensor feed picked up the fiery trail of the warheads unrelenting descent all over the entire city. Leg blown off, stuck on his back, remaining foot dragging him in circles on the spot to best keep the Plasma Cannon on target, the Dreadnaught sang along to the song’s final line as one of the descending streaks came directly at him…
    “…. I am the Lightbringer…”

As the planet's ashen remains tremble under endless legions of chaos, roaring chainswords and dissonant harmony of battle fill the polluted air.
In the midst of a dying planet, the chapter's light grows dim but their hearts have never shone brighter, brothers standing firm until the final strike.
Overwhelmed by sheer numbers, one by one the brave warriors valiantly fell until but a handful stood, weakened from many injuries and low on ammunition.
Knowing that death is inevitable, the sentient tank blared out a song through his vox channel, a melody to sing in times of forgotten heroes.
A solo became a duo, a quartet, then a choir.
With renewed vigor, the war-hardened souls continued to cleave and fire with all their might, cleansing heretics in the Emperor's name.
Be as it may, they were still no match against the bloodthirsty army tens of thousands strong.
As it came to be, the ensemble faded to an octet, a quintet, then a trio, and finally a solo once more.
The walking sarcophagus was riddled with dents and holes, his assault cannon no longer functional, the chant reaching its decrescendo.
He prayed to the Emperor for strength one last time and with a single burning nerve impulse, the thermic reactor within the ceramite armor whirred loudly.
Thick fumes raged out of the exhaust before a mighty explosion, taking out a considerable amount of traitors.
Alas, the candle's flame was no more.
In the grim darkness of the 41st Millenium, there is no mercy, no respite.
    There is only war.

These 40k AI covers make me wonder if, or how, or what would some marines sing other than the average monastic song, especially those chapters such as the Blood Angels, Salamanders and similar chapters who still value their own humanity and non combat aspect of themselves. I wonder how they could actually sing and sound given their enlarged thorax and skulls along with all 3 lungs. I also wonder if those few dreadnoughts who still remain mostly sane do partake in similar things to pass the time between being awakened and being deployed.

The Last Dreadnought of a once forgotten chapter, in a fight that would be written into Imperial legend. The mark of the last stand, the charred and immolated shadows left. Left a tale of the last battle. Of being surrounded by Heretics and Xeno worshipers. Picter and Vox-caster records painted a canvas of overwhelming force, with total friendly forces measured in decimal points compared to hostile forces. What had once started out as a full chapter dwindled when Orkz spore erupted from beneath clad boot and claw, when the skies split and retched forth Deamon and unholy war-engines, when the skies themselves darkened with Tyranid bio-ships.
The last stand of this lone dreadnought had made gore and bile and chunks of his adversaries. This lone Dreadnought for which no help would come. Had destroyed scores of his opposition, that by the time the sarcophagus make up of his tomb could no longer hold against the tide. The mountain on which his tomb stands, rusted, slagged and still glowing has no recorded name or mark on any known cartographical maps.
"I am the ᴸᶦᵍʰᵗᵇʳᶦⁿᵍᵉʳ" *Crystalin Nuclear battery fractures, shatters and fulminates. Before with a squealing ring, a burst of light clamours for attention, a time later it sputters cold and is snuffed from existence.*

That's... actually really, really good. I was ready to laugh at some silliness, but this hits a bit harder than that.

The pictures got imperial fists but I also envision this song with a Salamander dreadnought ensuring the civilians get evacuated by sacrificing himself to hold off a horde.

I separated them, and then cleaned and processed the audio, using UVR and Audacity. Or do you mean the voice clips for the Dreadnought? You can get those off youtube, or some "sound bases", or from DoW 2.

    Fellow arms-men, I ask you
"Will you follow me tonight to break their spine
And reclaim what once was mine?"
Those cravens backstabbed me, deceived me
Never shall I tolerate their crimes again
Now, let the hunt begin, yeah
7 thousands souls scared and daunted, such a tale of woe
Not too long ago, this village was a golden scene of hope
    Call down the reckoning
To bring back hope and peace, restore our gloria
    To live forever, yeah
    Bring down the dark regime
I know how to unleash eternal power
    Lead us to order
    I am the Lightbringer
    Yeah
    I am the Lightbringer
    Now listen
    Fellow warriors, I ask you
"Should my campaign come to an end?"
There's way more to avenge, woah
15 million souls living in this realm without much hope
Not too long ago, this kingdom was a golden state of hope
    Yeah, oh
    Call down the reckoning
To bring back hope and peace, restore our gloria
    To live forever, yeah
    Bring down the dark regime
I know how to unleash eternal power
    Lead us to order
    I am the Lightbringer
    Oh
    Call down the reckoning
    Bring back hope and peace
Restore our gloria to live forever
    Call down the reckoning
