Out of the four of us, only Michael and Joe have experienced it, and of that only Michael in a home experience. We would love to have more opinions on this from actual users or at least people that have experienced it in a home. Do you think that you are pulled from the movie with all that shaking going on, or is it the opposite does it put you in the movie experiencing what is going on up on the screen? Let us know your thoughts and comments on D-BOX systems and seating!

In the 2010 time frame my wife and I were demoed a home theater setup at Starpower in Dallas that had transducers on the seating and the movie had encoding for the motion.
I really liked it and my wife absolutely hated it.
I do not remember too much about it, I sorta figured it was a novelty that would end up not getting studio support and go away.
At that time I thought the pricing was high but doable if it had not been killed by WAF.
Glad to know it is still out there and may be gaining traction.

Waiting for the special rich people estate sale that didn’t like it at all if I’m so lucky.
Only certain movies have that code to match for the seats. I think Jurassic Park and 9 use it.
With JP getting 3D and motion sounds amazing in theory. You more or less have 4D at that point.

DBox at home is much better that cinema simple because most ht chairs will recline so you can get your feet off the ground and that make a huge difference. DBox has motion programmers they custom code each movie that has motion. DBox is the single best feature I had in my last ht and will be included at some point in the ht I’m building currently in my new home
