i was seeing support enemies infront of me easy kills with Dva, and they kept crying that i kill them, i thought i was doing something wrong and came to check a guide and this dude first thing says if u see an opportunity to kill a dps or support immediately dive on it. thanks man
Usually if the enemy is upset about what you’re doing, then you’re doing the right thing xD

I just heard that Dva was the easiest tank to play so I wanted to see how to play her professionally because from what I can see at low ranks and casual she does seem rather easy to understand and play while still being really good. So, for someone who relatively new to overwatch 2, this guide is useful. So thanks.
She’s definitely not the easiest. The easiest is actually neither winton or zarya
Nobody says Sigma is easy, yet compared to other tanks, he seems the easiest. Roadhog is a close second, but with his lack of shields and bad mobility, he's often been useless, especially now that his only unique trait of being able to one-shot squishies after hooking them is nerfed.
I just downloaded the game today and I picked her because she was a tank and had a cool mech. and I immediately loved how she played so I stuck with her. But I suck in general so Im watching this to be (hopefully) slightly less trash LMAO
As a guy that has sigma as one of his most played characters Sigma isn't that hard. The most difficult thing for me personally is probably knowing when to use shield and aiming hypersphered. @@ringyring
Man, I just want my melee booster cancel back. I dunno how much pull anyone has over these things, but it’s something all dva mains should be lobbying for as an option. That change has sent me way too deep into the back line too many times when the mech refused to stop.
It has a mind of its own now 😭
If u press the boost button again it cancels the boost! Hard to get used to but it’s rlly useful
@@jasmineberry8935 but sometimes it doesnt. there seems to be an issue with too many key presses when youre in the middle of a fight where it just doesnt accept the cancel.
@@BenFilley If you go to controls and select DVa there's a settings for Hold Boosters, having to press the button twice to cancel was driving me insane lol, holding feels so much better for me so maybe give it a try
@@Shader_s tried that. i end up forgetting to hold it and moving about 3 feet and stopping, and getting frustrated af lol
I love playing her and played her since ow1, I have 30 hours on her but just want to get better with her. So thank you for this ! It's extremely helpful ! I can't wait to use these tips in my future games :3

wow, this guide really helped. i got the highest amount of kills in the past 5 games i’ve played dva, a lot more than i used to get on average.
As someone who mained her in OW1 all the way to Diamond, I still needed this refresher since I took a few years off from the game until OW2 released. That and I knew I was going to need to change up my playstyle with her this time around. Used what you talked about here in some matches earlier, man it was almost like I hadn't taken any time off from the game lol. Even had my team putting Tank diff to the other team in chat 🤣🤣, made me feel a lil better about my gameplay.
My biggest thing I struggled with at first was knowing when to dive, contesting and maintaining high ground wasn't a problem lol. Just breaking through some bad.chokes and all the damn people playing freaking horse still 🤣🤣she is just a blast to play and her voice lines after a cheeky kill are still the best.
Was a tracer main in OW but now im a dva main she’s so much fun to use and I love her aesthetic im tryna become a pro and make people hate going against us 😂 thank you for the tips imma start implementing them into my gameplay!

Had ab 140 hours on her in ow 1.. I know a lot ab how to play her only from experience, but the little updates to her in the new game are useful
This is exactly how I play dva and frag out with like 30 kill 2 death defeat whilst defense matrixing deadly ults such as reaper or road hog yet some kids get salty and are like “never play tank again” with her new nerfs it’s harder to top frag anymore but I still relatively do well

If you want to play a role that will be nerfed and will over time be pushed down by blizzard because it’s not where the majority of playerbase isc then go with tanks. If you want to play a role that is fundamentally very powerful and had all of OW1 severely damaged for it not to be nerfed, then go with support 😅
@@Dunmuir as someone who plays both, tanks have more carry potential, so they do get more control over whether they win or lose. if you queue as support and get a bad tank that's nearly a guaranteed L.

how do people fly backwards? and horizontal, i see it all the time... how do you do that?
sometimes you just wanna squish things tho now that they buffed her damage and defense matrix she can practically dive more than before. i hate playing defensive its so dull

It can be really hard to pull this off in a match. Best to try and predict it when the Zarya pushes hyper aggressive and moves in a straight line

@@brodiemorrison1314 OW is trash, i cant migrate my ps account to PC (which is why i quit long ago) and i have no interest in unlocking characters that existed in OW1.

Any tips for surviving moeira, lucio, and zarya? Also tips for Dva vs Dva?
Moira isn’t a concern for Dva and she’s vulnerable to being dove after she’s faded. Zarya does beam Dva down a lot, so try and play away from her and don’t tank too much damage from her, you’ll likely want to dive the enemy more often when playing against one one!
I love Dva sm. I've been playing her for 100 hours but definitely could improve my gameplay so I seem like a better Dva main. :)

You can’t, but you can flick backward and cancel it to go backward

@@umeshbajoon6619 Most likely a enemy that just pushed her back with an ability. That's the only explanation to me at least.

i like to point out if i was to mimic you and just fly around and stuff randoms would be fumed cusse im not "on the front line 24/7" WE NEED A SHIELD " phara here rockets by shield sombra hack by sheield ..... a lot of time its team play and finding people is hard and the argue and in the video you can see the team rotations if i was that zara on the high ground people would scream at me to get on the pay load and its like theres 3MINS get the push then push payload not just sit on the payload 24/7 you have to be creative you need to use the map .
Yep! Just ignore people who don’t know what a tank needs todo. You pop off and you’ll climb and get to where they understand more
