3:38 dang.. took me multiple rewinds before i figured out the junkrat mine blast animation + soldier's grunt told him soldier's got injured bad. no wonder i'm gold ;;
This is actually really entertaining hearing this commentary. It gives a good perspective on the things that I should think about when playing to get better. I find alot of the time that I've got a head empty mentality because I feel like my thoughts cant keep up.with the game. Cheers for the video 😎
"sometimes your team ints"... """"""sometimes"""""" If it were me, my team would have just stood out in the open at the beginning and all died one by one, because for some reason, people in plat have no idea how to play defence with no reinhardt. And then they moan about you not physically being on the payload, because they don't understand how you can make space and contest cart without being physically on it as dva.
Let me know what Hero you want next - I am thinking for the next video I could tone down my commentary a little during play and get more information across with the text as saying thoughts in real-time can often leave out a lot of details. I want to try and get as many heroes as possible to help as many people as I can, much love everyone thanks for watching
This is one of the first actual educational gameplays I’ve ever seen. This was extremely helpful even to a GM 2 Tank. Thank you A10! Love your content!
This was kinda difficult to conceptualise in my brain. It almost feels like you werent a tank because you're not frontlining and being a damage sponge but really youre letting the enemy close the distance and keeping track of general location + cooldowns etc. At times it felt like you were being too passive and playing too far back/not having a presence especially on defence but because of DVAs mobility plus info collection makes you super annoying not only on offence but because youre keeping track of locations you can swing around and help your team in a moments notice. Also when u called out the panic sleep cos of the reload visual queue I lost my shit
This was great! If I could make a single suggestion, adding captions to this would be wonderful because the game sounds sometimes drowns your words and I can't pick up what you've said. These tips are so helpful though, thank you so much.
@@meat. I have believe me, he promised a genji guide at 100k and he's almost at double that with no sign of even the guide. he and shadder do ur to gms all the time but they don't explain their thought processes or anyting the way A10 does, they just play like normal
the descriptions of each thought process is actually rly helpful for people who tend to fixtate on stuff like me. It breaks the fixation on one thing and actually makes me stay focused on everything else. This is great!
A10 fixed my aim. I always thought aim was so complicated, but when he introduced me to the idea of predicting where the opponent will run then my aim almost instantaneously became a lot better. That’s not to say that’s every situation is predictable, but a large number of them seem to be.
Great guides. Definitely the most informative and we'll explained guides for overwatch I've seen on RUclips. Please keep them coming. So many content creators make these game reviews but you do such a great job of clearly explaining your thinking moment by moment. I learn more from one of your videos than 5 from another creator.
What makes your educational stuff stand out is its conciseness. Other cc’s tend to waffle a bit and get unnecessarily abstract but this is super good. I picked up tank, specifically dva (i one tricked her, whilst dabbling in a bit of zarya), because of you for the first time. I got placed in silver 3 (depsite being masters in other roles and going 5-0 in placements) then climbed to gm for the first time :D
I’m new here! Happy to have found this channel!! Are these tips and gameplay commentary given with the assumption that you’ll have at least moderate communication over voice comms? Cause my reality is almost no one is ever in voice comms. 😢
I play a lot of dva with my siblings who are new to OW. this was very insightful and will help me carry a bit more when we play. they’re still so new they don’t know the maps or all the heroes yet but I see the value of safe gameplay. you spend little to no time out of your mech. I need to focus more on that, myself. thanks for posting these. 😊
I am a low-ranked player trying to learn D.VA I often end up sitting on the high ground, poking down at their team, but no one gets low enough for me to dive. I sit there losing time, not knowing what to do. This happens on attack especially. What should I be doing in this kind of situation?
Your mindset video got me to diamond 3 and on the way to masters for tank. Thanks for the content dude you're an inspiration. This game is more mental than mechanical in so many ways and it's not talked about enough
Wow at the start I would've felt like I was doing nothing, and instead became more aggressive or tried to die on payload. I have a lot to learn for tank gamesense.
Quick request for video editing : your voice sometimes get lost in the chaos, especially with your own character voicelines, so if you could, maybe lower the game volume (or just voicelines) or increase your mic volume that would be awesome. Great content anyways, some text overlays would be great to highlight some key concepts (a bit like in your unranked to gm intros but much more condensed). Nb: I hope you don't mind me saying all this stuff ❤
first time seeing high level dva gameplay and i'm so impressed by the thought process that goes into the actions carried out. i rarely play tank so it's just interesting to learn.
I hope you see this but can you make a video on how to play against counters to dva? Zarya, sym, mei are some of the hero’s I struggle against. Great video!
Your videos are THE reason Ive got from low gold to diamond in one season. Most top players do not give such fundamental tips that can be easily translated into your own games without much supervision and correction. The whole idea about the game revolving around space and resources was really eye opening to me, and particularly improved how I play Zarya and Rein. On a different note, I know ow2 isnt a game of Rock Paper Scissors but sometimes it really feels like it is when you're being matched with players on a similar skill level. I have tried playing dva into zarya many times, trying to take high ground, manoeuvre around to different angles to pressure their team and when the enemy isnt very confident on zarya this usually works. But I often get into situations, especially on attack, where the enemy zarya just holds their ground and isnt bothered much by whatever im doing. Their team is tight and it feels like I can't dive them if they're too close to Zarya - so I usually just switch off dva. Wondering what Im missing here
i really like playing DVA in my games, but whenever im doing well on DVA, the enemy always switches to Zarya and i feel that i cant do anything agianst her and forced to switch. Are there any tips facing a Zarya?
thumbnail says how to solo carry. if you pay attention, its a lot of teamates doing the work and him using the DVA kit to finish them off. YOUR milage may vary lol
the most educational style of gameplay for is exactly this. going over concepts while subtitling other mental processes. thank you very much, keep up the good content ❤️ next hero - Wrecking Ball?
I watched the Ram video and now I'm here watching this one. Even though I primarily play damage I still feel like I have a lot to learn from these. I averaged mid masters in OW1 and am GM1 in OW2 (while I have been improving a lot, realistically I'm only GM1 because of the influx of new players inflating better players ranks), and I would love to see a video like this for your thought process on hitscan. Tracer would be interesting as well but there are already lots of resources (some of them your own) for her thought process, so it probably would not be the most valuable to make a video about it. On the other hand I see very few about cas or widow, other than just knowing how to position around your team and how long you can hold an aggressive angle for.
A handful of your vids and I finally hit Diamond after being hardstuck in plat since the game dropped. I’m even climbing and holding my own fairly well in Diamond too. THANKS A10!
I start playing 3 months ago and i LOVE D.V.A, i want to be the best of the best. I started to climb from silver and recently i reach master 4 and was ''easy'', but i feel im getting worse and worse, and its not bc the elo and the players getting better, i know its me like bc i feel nervous and my''instinc'' of when to dive, when to matrix, highgrounds, etc is OFF. So the more i learned about the hero the less i felt confident with my abilities, i open another account and i was terrible. So i take a break of the game, and come back confident again and start to win a lot but... i rely in my confidence, if im not im trash, if im confident i can solocarry. I write this before watching the video and i hink its gonna be amazing! sorry for the wall text i just wanted to know if someone feels the same, i just wanted the good times with my Dva come back :(
I'd like more broad ideas on a comp matchup prior to the start of the video. Been forced to learn ram and sig because it's kinda meta in OD, i'd like a video on that
Idk bruh, usually I just go headfirst ramming into players and disorientating them. I spam the missles like crazy and hardly use the shield. I do fly to ledges 80% of the time so I believe that is what keeps me alive and hard to kill
Bro has no enemies
Really a great video i think this will help me a lot! I think you should lower the game audio a little bit so we can focus more on your voice
The 15-16 dps who wouldn't switch off Widow calling gg
Thanks!
Thank you for your appreciation ❤First super chat I've had so it's especially special
5:28 you didn't get woken up, it's the sleep dart change on tanks.
was gonna say the same thing! it's a jarring change lol
Was going to say this. I'm commenting to boost it up the page. It's good to know for anyone.

"If you can avoid dying it gives a lot of advantages" This is why we watch A10
the advantage of living
been waiting for a good dva guide
goofy ahh emotes
A10's tracking cured my depression and his coaching took me from Silver to Diamond
Hanbin?
Gm is just around the corner bro I believe in you
silver in ow2 is crazy
@@Vuxzloim s1 on dps 😭🙏

Love ur DVa commentary. Please make more!

This vid slaps hard!! Gj bro
5:31 didnt get woken up, took no damage. Assuming this was recorded after the patch this was the new change to sleeping tanks :)
wow this video is good goddamn. A10 you are something else
Bruh you are beast! Def followin your coaching.

You didn't get woken up. Tanks now have -50% sleep duration

Good shit mate
I would kill for videos like this for genji
Ask necros and show him this vid as example nicely on discord. If you would kill, then Im sure you could do that lol

if you break down overwatch movements, a lot of them are horizontal line, or an Arch shape. bicep tricep Y axis, rotator cuff X axis
Very enjoyable video, thank you!

nice decision making, more like this helps, ty
Good vid 👍
The information density on this is insane, no really I wrote down 24 tips and tricks
Thank you for playing on this map on Defense. I h8 this map on Defense

I think junker queen would be a very interesting video especially due to her punishing nature and how important tempo is and pressing advantages
Your though process in text is actually very useful and clear. Would like to see more of this type of videos👍
Your guide has made me plat to grandmaster player👍👍
i need a junker queen guide like this. so informative and concise! good job!
I finally understood what ppl said when they said D.va dives haha
Junk being 7-2 is so sad to see 😢😢😢
Very useful even after a year

Crazy Diva gameplay.
Btw u helped me look at things differently and change my mindset about my gameplay which is the reason for me climbing from gold to dia
That was a perfect intro, so quick I love it
Algo's comment, because I'm astonished by your Dva. Maybe because I'm too low ranked (deserved) to see some good plays as this one ^^
Your mindset video got me to diamond 3 and on the way to masters for tank. Thanks for the content dude you're an inspiration. This game is more mental than mechanical in so many ways and it's not talked about enough
This guy got great tank tips not gonna lie , very well educational stuff.
gold to granmdaster here we go
Excellent and tremendously helpful video. Thank you so very much for this!

Don't shoot the first bubble, focus on her squishies and when she use the second bubble is when your team should be blasting her to death
This is a very helpful video thank you
I really like the on screen text commentary too. Good addition.

Absolutley incredible!!! Keep it up...1 every day
Would love to see this for sigma!
10/10 video dva is a difficult hero for me because of the short range on her and I constantly feed
Love it
Actually clear and applicable advice!
you helped me get from silver to diamond back in ow1 in one season on dva so thankful for that glad to see ur still at it!
Ily
Great tips! Although If you could contour the white text with a darker colour it'd much easier to read.
Amazing content
Both your DPS got out Damaged by your Supports.. that’s crazy

Loved this video A10! Seeing theory put into practice and explained is unbelievably helpful, keep it up!
Goated player, goated vid. Ram vid next?👀
wow. i finally understand how to play DVA in 5v5. she's the most confusing hero to me.
This is the ideal type of educational content. Seeing live gameplay and the thought process is very helpful.
