I think what's cool about this is it's lots of little habits that you've grinded to use all of them at once, corners/cover, tracking enemies, tracking teammates, tracking enemy cooldowns, and lots of other small but impactful bits that are what make a Rank 1 player when combined, whereas lower rank players simply don't have as many as refined
A10, the worst part about this video is that it only has 4.7k views. Absolute masterpiece as usual. No matter how many of your vids I watch, I always learn something (or many things) new. A10/10
Ive been watching your ow content casually for about a year now, but i started really trying to learn from the recent push on educational videos and unranked-gm series youve been making. I went from high plat low diamond for-fun collegiate player in ow1 to all 3 roles mid masters through seasons 2 and 3, largely playing tracer, sojourn, and ram. Im super super happy with my improvements and thanks to your help im gonna try and push GM on tracer this summer!!
Loved the idea of giving space, and you explained it very well. It should definitely help my tank gameplay a lot. Definitely subscribed for more videos like these keep them coming please.
I just recently started coaching Esports at my HS for some of my students because they were interested in it. I'd never played OW until this last December and your videos have been immensely useful for learning what I'm doing to help my students understand how to take fights better. High quality work mate
This was actually a great video. Super clear about what your thoughts were during each play. It made it real obvious what part of the gameplay was mechanical skill and what part was planning and mental
Been waiting for this one! I saw your Dva video and it really helped, so I was hoping you'd do one for Ramattra! He's a character I've wanted to main for a long time, but I have a hard time getting anything done. Thank you so much!
thank you for this video, ive been maining ramattra recently so this will help a lot. I discovered you through your tracer ur2gm and got a lot better with her too thanks to that video. keep up the great work A10! we appreciate these educational videos.
These things that are probably second nature to you have helped me to improve tremendously just from seeing the explanation along with the visual example. The concept of giving up space to force overextensions and cooldowns is not something that I would've ever picked up on if I hadn't heard about it from you A10! PS: How tf do you cancel Ram's shield, could never figure that one out
Wow this is awesome man - as a returning player to ow after 2 years these videos are SOO helpful. Also, i subbed to your Patreon yesterday. Keep up the great coaching!
being a former t500 player in early ow1 and getting back into the game again, i have learned so much from your videos and you e even convinced me to stop dps one tricking and playing other heros.
Thanks! I really struggle with carrying with heroes with "easy" mechanics like Winston, D.Va, Ramattra...the like who don't require that much mechanical skill, and might lack skillshots, but require a ton of awareness, positioning and cooldown management. Obviously somebody like Sojourn or Illari requires those things too, but good aim with those characters will carry you much further. Characters like Ramattra really force you to improve your general gameplay sense.
I love these types of videos, would like if you made some for dps heroes too, widow would be my request (yes you need to click heads but positioning can be such a problem into certain tanks)
A10, thanks for all the great educational content you put out! Learning from your videos helped me climb from plat in OW1, and I just reached Top 500 for the first time today. A10 content diff 😤
top for ram also, if you are in Nemisis form and you go into ult you don't get the armour boost so its best to cancel out of nemisis then go into your ult
I love these videos, I would really appreciate if you'd do a rein one, I'm M2 struggling especially thus season, trying to climb to GM, but I'm in limbo of winning 5 losing 5. It would be really helpful to understand some of the smaller micro decision that GM plus makes.
please post new videos like this, trying to learn from thought processes helps so much more than generic guides, also love the unranked to gms but lower elo lobbies play much different, so something to help with that would awesome too, high plat low diamond is so messy
Remember something too, this isn’t your fight. It’s myn… my demons, my hell. It only becomes yours if you choose to take up arms. And fight the enemy not because you have to. But you feel it is what you want to do. There is no bigger pain then learning you are alone in this world. Only to be proven wrong, by the ones who dare to test the limits of what they can do. Knowing something doesn’t mean you can do anything about it. I’m case in point, I only just found out about this in the last week. I never knew until HE had enough and moved me to a stop. And took the wheel…. Made it look effortless too.
I came here searching tips but honestly this is how i play ramattra (but i don't play comp) but sometimes i feel like i cant do anything the moment i try to be aggressive everyone on my team die even if i killed 3 i turne around and find everyone dead and if i try to protect them i waste my cooldowns and that is gg.
❤ SpazXD….. it helps… one thing tho. If I read it I think. Which I never can tell if im going to stay focused. I learned to focus by zoning in on what was real to me. Which is my senses. Kinda how I’ve done life. Your explanation helps the enemy more then it does me. I may be dumb in saying this. I’m okay with it tbh. My movement is in the way of my thoughts. Sometimes I see to much, sometimes I see to little. Sometimes I feel to much. Sometimes I feel to little. Where flow is found with words but a language of movement is what im after. The enemy is fast…. Any enemy would need to be. To fight something you can’t even make sense of. If that makes sense. So my intent is to build a new language. One only ppl can use. Not something that can be explained. The true zone, like anime kurko basketball with Isagi from blue lock comebined with aoeshi. With his reading. I feel like I’ve been shown the true zone. Where we all want to be, but I lack the skill to be there on my own. I feel isagi, constantly reinventing myself, while when the two combine. It’s like aoeshi, the soccer dude who builds the shapes of the game. Sometimes long, sometimes triangles. Well shapes, I see shapes instead of maps that make up the flow of the game. I just can’t seem to find the dang ball. Because reinvention won’t stop.
It’s perplexed, and simple, like ebb and flow. Kinda like lucio, he moves fast but when he doesn’t move is when you don’t know. If your the one not moving. Or is he moving and your brain not catching it. It’s a mix
Movement isn’t enough to feel what you need to, to move the way you have to. Fights are won or lost in a mere moment. Sometimes before you even move. It’s just gonna take time, to figure it out for yourself. And more importantly, for everyone. Now gotta get ready for work lol😂good news tho I don’t feel tired at all now.
Thank you a10 for teaching me a ton about mental and even simple fundamentals. I appreciate your grasp on overwatch 2 and life itself.
Not autopiloting and poking 1v5 is definitely something I needed to hear/learn. Thanks A10!

1.Ask your healers to full focus you. 2.Spam randomly ennemie team to gain Ultimate
3.Press Q
4.emote

A10 thanks bro your content actually helps me improve so much
I just recently started coaching Esports at my HS for some of my students because they were interested in it. I'd never played OW until this last December and your videos have been immensely useful for learning what I'm doing to help my students understand how to take fights better. High quality work mate
The demonstration of those core fundamentals that you describe clears up how a game runs. Thank you!
This was actually a great video. Super clear about what your thoughts were during each play. It made it real obvious what part of the gameplay was mechanical skill and what part was planning and mental

Got my first SkyPad today thanks to your reccomendation, thanks A10, im now 120 dollars poorer but its so smooth and slick! Love it so far!

thank you for this video, ive been maining ramattra recently so this will help a lot. I discovered you through your tracer ur2gm and got a lot better with her too thanks to that video. keep up the great work A10! we appreciate these educational videos.
A10 ur def one of the best educational OW youtubers, appreciate ur vids man. Helped me climb alot

Your play by play breakdowns are unmatched.
being a former t500 player in early ow1 and getting back into the game again, i have learned so much from your videos and you e even convinced me to stop dps one tricking and playing other heros.
I feel i am actually able to understand how this game works now. A10, you have given such insight i cant thank you enough
I've never fully considered what that had meant, wait for them to use their cooldowns, but this sure made it made sense! Thanks A10!
This is some of the most educational video of ow I’ve ever seen
I just started grinding Ram this season, this video is perfectly timed! Thank you
Thank you a10 loving this cosy style of educational videos. Much love
Learned so much about tempo shielding, thanks for sharing!
Trying to learn Ram as my main for ranked, and this has some really interesting insight as to correct thought process and tactics
You easily explained the main points, it was a very fun and educational gameplay. Thank you! (I LOVE YOU THIS HELPED ME IMPROVE WAHHH😭😭😭😭😭😭😭)
This video gives me so much insight as Masters/High Diamond player, thank you A10, you the GOAT fr.
This right here is the moment I overhaul everything I know about the game. Thank you kind sir!
Thanks!

Awesome Video!
one of the best guides i've ever seen, even in its simplicity!! Good job A10!
Lovely, been needing to really see a recent video of how Ramattra is played to max effectiveness.
I love that your first two vids were on my two most played tanks
this type of content and the way it is delivered is hacking my brain. Keep doing it and the views will come, can't wait for more!
Any chance of doing Zarya soon? Love this🎉
great video, taught me a lot, straight to the point. thank you man
This guy is IRL zenyatta, I learned so much from watching 5 videos. And now I have so much more knowledge and I can help my team so much more
great explanations as always, especially now in season 5 very helpful
I love these types of videos, would like if you made some for dps heroes too, widow would be my request (yes you need to click heads but positioning can be such a problem into certain tanks)
Don’t know how I would climb without these vids. Thanks man 👍
A10, thanks for all the great educational content you put out! Learning from your videos helped me climb from plat in OW1, and I just reached Top 500 for the first time today. A10 content diff 😤
Incredibly educational. Man amongst men
Your content just keeps getting better and better!
Loved the commentary. Thanks for the video !
I’m loving these kinds of vids mr a10, keep it up!
The thumbnail looks like Ramattra is about to drop the hardest track of all time
after playing overwatch 1 for 23 years being hardstuck contenders, this video gave me the knowledge i needed to finally get to rank 1 :3!!
I was just searching for this, you always deliver ❤
top for ram also, if you are in Nemisis form and you go into ult you don't get the armour boost so its best to cancel out of nemisis then go into your ult
Keep up the good content! Your vids helped me get to Gold 5 from Bronze 5 as tank
i had so many wow moments during this. makes so much sense
nice lesson about cooldown management
amazing vid very informative appreciate you mate
A10 I watch all your vids and love the educational content you deliver, keep it up.
I think this video series is very interesting, it's kind of like an unranked to gm but more condensed learning
I love these videos, I would really appreciate if you'd do a rein one, I'm M2 struggling especially thus season, trying to climb to GM, but I'm in limbo of winning 5 losing 5. It would be really helpful to understand some of the smaller micro decision that GM plus makes.
I want to see Winston thought process for the next video
im gm5 and i play without thinking just auto pilot and it works maybe if i play with my brain like this guy i’ll do better
Make it make sense in a way that doesn’t have to be epic proportions.
learning so much watching this
This is quality content, please keep making these!
your thought process is so smart, in gold my thought process is just whatever happens happens XD
Content keeps getting better!
Good work, thanks for making the video!
nice discipline, i learned something here, ty
Watching this video made me realize that I play exactly like the enemy tank, thanks for pointing out my mistakes
Your videos are awesome. It's a shame I've only just discovered them!

This some good shit. Leavin the comment because I indeed did learn something even 6 months later, cheers!
SUCH GOOD CONTENT!No one else is so concise and good. Thanks you!!!! But please… do more zarya just for fun
please post new videos like this, trying to learn from thought processes helps so much more than generic guides, also love the unranked to gms but lower elo lobbies play much different, so something to help with that would awesome too, high plat low diamond is so messy
I'm a quickplay warrior and this is great advice
Can you do an analysis of the decision making for dive characters like Winston & Dva?
Remember something too, this isn’t your fight. It’s myn… my demons, my hell. It only becomes yours if you choose to take up arms. And fight the enemy not because you have to. A10 always dropping great videos! Keep it up, you’re the best educator in the OW community! Plus, he never misses pulse bombs :)
This is what I needed to succeed, a10 w the recipe
Quality content as usual A10, would love to see a Zarya one
This was helpful, great vid thx
I guess the question I have is how do I implement this? Like I feel like I know this? Do I need to just focus one piece at a time?
I came here searching tips but honestly this is how i play ramattra (but i don't play comp) but sometimes i feel like i cant do anything the moment i try to be aggressive everyone on my team die even if i killed 3 i turne around and find everyone dead and if i try to protect them i waste my cooldowns and that is gg.

I like to tell my team "wait, they're about to do something stupid" and it works like 70% of the time
Hi can you do a junker queen video pls
I will master the art of "tempo" tanking now
I love these types of videos, keep up the great work! Any chance you will make similar videos for supports?
ult as the last one alive and run into their entire team thats the thought process
Can we get a Zarya version of the preferably one for every game mode? Anyways, great Video on how to carry on tank. Love your content!
Thank you for giving us tips
It’s perplexed, and simple, like ebb and flow. Kinda like lucio, he moves fast but when he doesn’t move is when you don’t know. If your the one not moving. Or is he moving and your brain not catching it. It’s a mix
Perfect series
We need more Ramattra videos. Please
godlike content as always
Thanks great content keep it Up🦾✌️
