i never understood why they were called the cousins of the bratz when bratz movie/show lore could have easily fit in the bratz suddenly becoming witches??? they’ve literally been transported into a story book of fairytales, trained to be spies, formed a rock band, and got enchanted by pixies???? all of which are considered canon in the bratz tv series😭
I think it was so they could make entirely new character designs (skin, eyes, hair, etc). That way the designs didn't have to be based on already recognizable characters. Especially so they could write new personalities for the story.

Monster High had a death grip on me as a kid so I missed out on Bratzillas and I'm hoping the Doll Collector gods bless us soon.
I still have my Bratz twins sets. They've been well loved. I have the sisters set and a couple of stand alone dolls. There's a few others from the siblings collection I'd like.
I also never got into brats because monster high had me in a chokehold, but I had couple hand me down bratz and only two that were new. One of them being Meygana because I thought the doll was so pretty. Also her glass eyes were so cool.
Wait I did read at least one of the My Sister is a Vampire books! I definitely at least read the first one. It just added to my love of supernatural beings lol. I wish I could remember if I read the others (if my school had the other books) but pretty much all of my in school elementary school memories are blurry if not gone.

When I 1st saw a Bratzillaz ad, my 1st thought was, “omg, monster high finally looks good.” 💀 Genuinely my favourite fashion doll line design. I was 2 young, poor, & a boy 2 even ask 4 1. But that image of Jade J’adore & her red eyes were ingrained in my mind. Since I wasn’t allowed 2 spend anything as a kid, I’m splurging on bratzillaz now. It’s probably not a good idea 2 keep kids away from toys as a kid when they’re gonna end up spending 3x the amount by the time the line gets cancelled 😅

I also loved Novi Stars (had to look it up to find out what they were called lol) But I found out about each of them on RUclips and I was obsessed with them and then they just disappeared 😭

The way I watched the part with the more detailed dolls and thought “wait, my Yasmina doll didn’t look like that” and realizing that I found the less detailed version at walmart lol😭

As a kid my first edition sashabella completely disappeared, looking back , someone probably stole it but I was genuinely so confused how she entirely disappeared. I was a bratzillaz hater and was gifted her so I imagined she found out I hated her and left
