My wife and I started our eBay store about 2 years ago. At the moment, we have 1076 active listings. I would dare to guess that over half of them are book lots. When we first started, we came up with the name 10dollarbill and were planning on selling everything at ten dollars each. We quickly learned that there are a lot of books that aren't worth ten dollars. LOL. So, we made book lots worth ten dollars. Our bookstore grew quickly, as did our sourcing, and we acquired books that were worth more than ten dollars each. Now, we're the 10 dollars in name only. Our original plan of ten-dollar items had to be discarded, as did our ten-dollar lots. It's great to experience the growth of a business and interesting to watch how it evolves. We treat the customer how we want to be treated and that goes for offering deals too. Book lots are an ideal way to sell, both for the seller and the buyer. By the way, we learned a lot from watching your videos. Keep up the good work Curator Of The Lost. :)
I routinely sell in lots, both books and CDs. I have no interest in selling a book for $5. or a CD for $3. But I just 30 PB books for $125 as a lot. Easy to pack, and worth my efforts. I recently bought about 150 vintage jazz CDs, mostly artists from the 1950s and 1960s. Sorted by artist, and selling in lots, anything from 3 discs to 10. The remainder (no multiples) are going in a "mega lot". Sometimes, complete lots, like all the Travis McGee novels can bring 2X to 3X an incomplete lot, to the point if I am close, I have bought the missing title or two so I can sell a complete set.
6:25 I used to work at a medical lab and we were allowed to wear headphones and listen to the radio, CDs, whatever all night long. I would buy CDs in bulk, one time I bought 300 at one time! And I worked 80-100 hours a week, so I got a great education! Someone will definitely want those!

Love your videos! Do you do international shipping?
How do you determine if a book lot is worth selling?
I love to sell lots. My favorite recent ones are Agatha Christie, Rex Stout, and Metallica.

I always feel like ebay really dislikes lots as the whole set up is geared towards individual items.
I’ve never had that experience, but lot pricing can have downward pressure by eBay buyers.
